Girl me too! My family thought I was having a mental break down cause I chopped all that perm off and now my hair looks like this but I love it just have to get use to it
I just recently cut my hair down and was thinking of relaxing again. But seeing your video changed my mind. TY. I have 4C. Thick & course, but I see the curl pattern. I'm definitely trying this.
I did this and I received so many compliments. I was ashamed of my short hair. I wasn't sure how to style. Now I rock this style. Thank you for sharing this video.
I literally want to cry🥺 It’s so so easy… I thought I wouldn’t ever be able to do this style because of all the extra’s people be doing in their videos.
I just did the “big chop” today, and was wondering how I was going to define my short, short, short hair. This video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much.
Wow I’m glad it worked for you, that was my intent for this tutorial to hopefully help someone who just chopped their hair and was lost like I was. Thank you as well!
It's 2024 baby girl your video will help me with my TWA. Like I be telling you I've watched so many videos and yours is the first that will help me. I'll be going to chop off the rest of my perm ends and will definitely try this on my hair. On top I have all those materials you used ❤.
Your finished style looks so pretty💕 I’m an older woman with gray hair I’m definitely going to try this, hopefully it works because gray hair “does what it wants to do”😂
Finally I have found someone with hair just like me. I am recovering from radiation and my hair is just not the same. I had locs past my butt and when I got out of the shower and turned around and my babies were on the floor. It did something to me.
I'm on methotrexate and plaquenil. I had nearly waist length sisterlocks, but they were breaking off. My sister then had to cut her waist length locs, so for solidarity, I shaved mine. My hair it's growing back, but it's no longer 4c. It's a thin 3c now. It's this what happened with you?
After watching a million tutorials and hundreds of dollars on products, I come across this video that only costed me about $7! Thank you so much. I love the way my hair came out✨
OMG!!!! All this time I've spent hunting for a way to make my 4c curls pop without a bunch of rah rah and wallah I stumble across your video! mwah my beautiful sista, you have brought hope to my natural journey. TY! TY! TY! TY!
Accurate I work in the hair industry... activate the curls with product and define with hand instead of a sponge 🧽.a sponge take away your natural oil and leaves bald spot ....a wide teeth pik comb/3 way comb does wonders ❤ 🔥 love this
Great video! I've been researching cuz I did the big chop recently and had zero idea how to style it like the salon did, so I was getting super frustrated. But you made it so easy to understand and it seems quick! Thank you so much for this!
@@lifewithmirajenee7028 Wow! Best video I seen so far I had a baby four months ago I been losing hair and shading like crazy due to postpartum. So I wanna start all over and get a big chop like yours but my hair is 4c will my hair get curly like yours did using the same products ?
@@lifewithmirajenee7028THANKS A lot for this video. I have watched a dozen of them and they use so much expensive products and I’m too broke for that! Is this the olive oil eco gel?
This is so beautiful I cannot not not twist my newly cut natural hair oh my gosh am I the only one? LOL I’m gonna keep watching your tutorial I’m gonna keep watching videos I’m gonna learn I will I will get it right one day 🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
I've been looking for a tutorial this easy to follow, all of them vidz I watched they were doing finger coils and I'm too lazy to do that lot of work. But this, it's perfect 🥰 💞 👌 Thank you 😊
Np ☺️thats really why I did the tutorial cause I’m like they’re has to be ppl out there like me who doesn’t have the patients to do a bunch of finger coils and whatnot so yea came up with this tutorial 😊☺️
Love It. Just chopped off my long 4c hair bc I have a new baby and I need a quick hair do. It was kind of dry though so glad I found you. Curls poppin'
Sis, this is what I needed!! Thank you for sharing. I just did the big chop after 21 years of wearing locs. I didn't realize my hair type was 4c (4dd if you ask me 😂). I needed something that was quick but cute. The slick hair style does not work for me. THIS...worked like a charm. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much. I did the big chop two weeks ago and still haven't figured out what to do with my tiny bit of hair. I can do this and am certain it will work with the gel I have. I appreciate that you've taken the time to help others.
I love it so.. I've had that barber hiccup experience as well.. Really sucked!! I have a female barber now... She understands the assignment! I drive 45 minutes to get to.... I also love how you situate those edges.....
Thank you had to find something that worked with hair and head shape lol but I’ll keep that in mind as far as trying a female barber who’s gonna get it
just did the big chop for college after having locs my entire life (i've had them since i was 3 and i'm turning 19 soon) and this video has brought me so much joy. i've been feeling really insecure about my hair being so short and not knowing how to make the curls look cute and then i found this! thank u sooo much🤍
🥰 Hey there I'm just loving your video!!! I actually do all the things that you do. I'm always looking for new tips and ideas. Great to know I've been on the right track 😚
I do it that way as well, and I use my hands any direction. I use extreme gel don't flake when I only use it with a leave in condition. I will try the ECO this weekend. I personally hate baby hair, but it works on you.
Great video, I do the same technique but with different products. Eco styler never holds my edges. I like the 24-hour edge gel works really nice and dries down hard and will keep your baby hairs laid all day.
Ooo wow thank you and eco holds my edge only if it ain’t over 90 degrees outside and the way Georgia heat is my edges be balled up soon as I step outside lol but who is the 24 hr edge gel by so I can give it a try
@@lifewithmirajenee7028 it's actually called True edge plus by tyche. They come in different smells and small travel jar for about $4bucks at the beauty store.
Thank you! Your video was so helpful. Been looking for something this simple that will help me get curls on my short hair. I have searched and searched and searched. Every video and material I had watched or read appear complicated or expensive or the products inaccessible in this part of my world until I cane across your video. You made the complications disappear in a snap. This was exactly what I was searching for. Well done. Great job.
Thanks for the video. Just subscribed. I made the chop several months back and have been wearing wigs while growing it out. I'm tired of wearing them and was looking for a style that I could wear comfortably. I'm gonna try this style.
Beautiful! I just big chopped for the 4th time and this is the second time my hair has been this short! I’ve never learned how to style my Hair this short! Thank God for your video because I’m tired of wearing wigs! Can’t wait to do this on my hair!!!
Thank you so much for doing this video ☺ I have been debating on doing The Big Chop and have watched many videos. After watching your videos I have the Confidence to do The Big Chop and I now have an easy cute way to style my hair Thanks to You 😁😁
Whaaa🫨! Great video. I recently got a twa and it’s growing in nice. I’m ready to wear it out. Thanks for helping see the potential of this length. Your hair came out beautiful.❤
this jus gave me life because my hair has been short for the last 6 years and now I am trying to make it look nice with out putting on scarves. And it stays very dry. So I will trying this for sure . Thank you
I hate that sponge, too! It dries and tangles my hair way more than it provides “definition”🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤨.. I am so grateful she demonstrated the hand method instead..I didn’t think of that.
Hello!!! Hopefully, someone can help me before I officially do the big chop! When it comes down to doing a routine like this, how do you maintain those same defined curls every day? I'm just afraid that if I wet my hair every day, and use the product on it every day my hair will dry out and I will lose a lot of product.
I use Lotta body products and pink moisture hair products and water and a plastic cap over night satin cap to save your pillows and a 3row brush does the same it lasts a week sometimes longer
I just did a big chop and was so uncomfortable with my little TWA and now I can walk out of the house with confidence!! I appreciate you!!!!!❤
