- I can't believe in all the years I have lived in Singapore, I've never visited this amazing fish store! I was stunned to see the neatness of East Ocean Aquatics even with such a wide variety of fish and aquatic plants! I could have spent the entire day there.

The fish at 11:30 is a drape fin barb. I just discovered it recently...and now of course I WANT SOME. lol

I like how all of the tanks are plumbed with air, fresh water and drains, must make it so much more efficient to do water changes

I lived in the Philippines for 3 years & it is the same as Singapore as regards the tropical temperatures, you don't need any aquarium heaters at all, here in the UK it is coming up to winter & my heater is always on & off haha

They used to have more wonderfully scaped nanotanks at the plant section, seems like they are gone 😭

This seems like the traditional setup of a Chinese fish store because it is completely similar to many Chinese fish stores I saw in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

@Create With Cement I’ve mentioned it in a few videos and livestreams in the past. First of all, I’m not a Singapore citizen, so after turning 20, I had to either leave or further my education or find a job in Singapore. I would’ve stayed if UA-cam was an actual job that I could get a working pass from Singapore. I grew up in Singapore because my mum worked there.
Secondly, because I knew I wanted to continue UA-cam, I knew that we had a house in Japan, that belong to my grandmother and mum which is not being used. So I had a place to stay and an area to start a fish room to make more content for UA-cam. A fish room like the one I have now would not be possible in Singapore.

I like your videos a lot and altough you said that you are not a fan of glo modified fish, you should consider not doing them (shops like these) an advert next time. These small decisions are those that matters at the end of the day.

Singapore is so tiny of a place i don’t expect it to have this kinda complete aquascape shop
it is a highly developed international hub.
It has access to the latest and most advanced goods and products around the world, and often it is also the first to get them regionally and even internationally.
THis store has been around for over 30 years. I knew it since i was a kid and i knew the mother of this current owner. It is not even the biggest store around but it has always been very well kept and the quality of fish are very good.
