- Let's look back at the 1980s as Life Magazine celebrates Paramount Pictures 75th Anniversary with the help of some of the biggest movie stars at that time, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Robert DeNiro, Molly Ringwald and more. There is a great celebrity parent-child photo shoot with Julie Andrews, Gregory Peck, Carrie Fisher, Jamie Lee Curtis and others. Bette Midler has a great series of photos as well with a comedic twist, documenting the daily life of a famous actress.
This particular magazine has a lot of car ads. It is very fun to take a peek at the cars of that era, at least one of which I don't even remember!

Very interesting magazine! 😃👍 Unbelievable that Harrison Ford is already 81 years old. I re-watch all Indiana Jones mowies evry year. 🤠 I remember when i was a kid i was afraid to watch the first two Indiana Jones mowies because i thought they were so scary. 🤣 In Europe, Harrison Ford is more associated with the role of Indiana Jones than with Han Solo ftom Star Wars. It's old-fashioned now, but i still enjoy watching mowies on DVD.

What happened to Life magazine?
The last print issue was in 2000. They still have an online presence and come out with special editions featuring celebrities and famous events.

Hi Anne, you are so sweet. My degree is in hotel management which I will say was a complete waste of time and money at least for a young woman in the 1980s. I went into medical transcription to be at home with my kids and still do it to this day. Thank you for watching, your support means the world to me. ❤️
