- Let's flip through last month's Vogue celebrating women fashion designers! Miuccia Prada is on the cover and her career at Miu Miu and Prada is remembered with Gigi Hadid modeling her styles throughout the decades. There are plenty of spring 2024 ad campaigns including one from Donna Karan as a sort of relaunch for her brand. There is a photo shoot with model Devyn Garcia and her mother and sister set in their hometown of Miami. For the fashion collector, there is a couple of interesting articles, one on obtaining valuable vintage pieces and the examining the rising costs of luxury clothing. Activist Niemat Ahmadi is interviewed raising awareness on the war in Sudan. There is a story on "High and Low", a documentary about John Galliano which is now in theaters.
Jeremy Strong of Succession in in a new play on Broadway, an adaptation of Ibsen's "Enemy of the People."

The incident with John Galliano happened back in 2010. He was having drinks in one of his usual spots in Paris. He was filmed using a regular camera that was placed on a table. Then the women started talking to him, provoking him. He was obviously drunk and not forced to tell what he did, but it doesn't change the fact that everyone knows it was a set up. He gave all his creative genius to Dior, made it modern in a good sense of this word. They used him and when he started to cost way too much, they got rid of him.
That is very interesting, if you wrote a book, I would read it! I can't wait to watch the documentary.

Hi Michael! Sorry for the mishap with the no audio video. I am having technical difficulties these days! My husband would come home from high school and watch General Hospital and it is something that brings him comfort through nostalgia. I of course got hooked on it. Hope you are doing great. I bet your weather there is already grand. We are still coldish up here. ❤️
@@TakeaBreakASMR Well the weather is better than it was this morning, we ended with sunny skies and quite chilly for some people. But not for me, I live for the cold.
It certainly is easier to get yard work done when it is cooler out, which is what we are trying to do, at least clear weeds and get soil ready for seeds. I can't stand working outside in the heat. And this is getting much worse with age. 😂
