- Let's go way back today almost 100 years to 1933 and look at a Woman's Home Companion magazine. There are a lot of short stories by different authors in this magazine and they are accompanied by gorgeous artwork. We can take a look at the fashions of the day. and there are loads of colorful food ads. There are exercises to keep you fit and skin care advice (sound familiar?) I hope you enjoy this little time capsule, I was thrilled when I found it in someone's magazine rack in their bedroom at an estate sale.

What happened to Woman's Home Companion?
Hello Susan, they stopped publishing this magazine in 1957. This issue represents a publication from their heyday. They did very well in the 1930s and 1940s.
Was anyone else terrified at 50:20? Voice-over needs to be fixed!!
Thank you for pointing that out. I have been using a different method of adding the voice overs and there has been a learning curve. I was referring to the underwood label and the timing is off.

Thank you so much, it is not completely "Fixed" but the out of place voice over is gone. I couldn't really mess around with it too much without completely reuploading it. I was fascinated by the difference between those two logos and it was fun noting that the Underwood product is still available 😂
