3 years ago I owned both a 2019 Type R and a 2021 ZL1 1LE..Although the ZL1 was faster, the Type R is just much more fun to drive around town. So I traded the ZL1 for a TRX and kept the Type R
I can relate big time, that's an amazing combination of vehicles to have as well congrats.
SS 1LE has ONE mission: Destroy anything on tack under 100K n it delivers my videos are proof. Type R’s mission go fast but makes u feel & connect with it (like a GT Porsches). SS 1LE feels like driving a super fast military tank!

One year ago today I traded my 2005 Corvette for a 2017 Camaro 2ss 6mt. I miss the Corvette, but the Camaro is just so damn good. Plus it's so much easier to get in and out.
I know exactly what you mean I had the choice of a Z06 C6 Corvette or my old Camaro SS 1LE and I chose the Camaro because it was a lot more comfortable lol.
Should’ve kept what is possibly the last v8 Camaro and it even had the 1le package 😪

Yeah if I was able to financially I would have but this was the best financial move I could make at the time, don't worry though a 6th gen Camaro will be coming back to the channel very soon 😎

@@BrzBoyz831 😆😆😆 I definitely miss my Camaro SS 1LE but I don't regret my decision, it was the right move at the time, I do plan on getting another one soon though.

SS 1LE will go down as a legend along with the ZL1 1LE but the Civic Type R has its place an fit fills the void of practicality! It fills both voids the way I look at it. The SS give you V8 sounds and the CTR gives you family vibes and fun vibes to brings more than 2 people along. In my opinion I would have both 😎

Crazy how similar we are: I had 2020 SS 1le, traded it for 22 Miata BBR (one of ur favorite if u could fit in it :) traded it for 24 GTI 380 SE, next planing to get Type S 🤞 Our family car is Mazda CX9. Crazy right?

What about Honda quality and reliability versus the Camaro?
From my experience they are both pretty reliable. I've put the Type R through more than the Camaro so far and no issues with it whatsoever, from what I've seen a lot of guys that have had their Camaro's past 40k miles end up having lifter issues ans have had to have their engines rebuilt, but other than that I think they're both really solid cars.
Great video brother I think you made the right decision cause the Type R is iconic and also practical, I like how you gave the Camaro props too cause it's also a very iconic car.

The SS 1LE will always be top tier. I always come back to it. I set my bar with the SS 1LE. I like the Type R as well. It would only come down to practicality for me.

Bro your car runs so cool, my fl5 runs at 190+ oil temp even in 70 degree temp youre in 90 degree and staying solid 170s thats nuts

Also is yours a 23 or 24?
Don’t completely believe the oil temp, the CTRs here in the US aren’t equipped with an actual oil temp sensor (think it’s only available for the EDM )

@@RaceCarFriends , we have 7 FL5’s and like 4 FK8’s down here. My FL5 is one of the first three that came into the country brought in by the local Honda Dealer. Small community but that makes it even more special.

I regret trading in my 21 2ss 1le for a 24 tlx type s biggest pos car I ever owned ....quality control is non existent

@RaceCarFriends mostly right now I dealing with all 4 wheels the sound dampener inside the wheels broke or was defect from factory after a month of owning I started getting vibration in front brought to dealer they inspected it and found at first the passenger rim sound dampener broke and destroyed the tire from inside they fixed using my rim package thinking I hit a pot hole but I didn't....then when they test drove the found drivers side to be bad also fixed that one I get car back was fine 3 weeks later vibration in rear bring back to dealer now both rear wheels have same problem I told them to warranty all 4 cause it has to be manufacturer defect car had 1000 miles acura rep says no it's road hazzard won't warranty it now I called Customer service and waiting on a response to get covered ....I honestly think it's a manufacturer defect and a safety issue ....this is first year for this rim style .....either that or they drop my car off the delivery truck ....it's been a nightmare.i didnt buy a rim and tire package so acura can skate on their poor quality.....also puddle light passenger never worked they fixed that and AC fan speed goes fast slow on its own they say they can't replicate that but that's bs cause mechanic said his integra does it he dunno why .....and my mode selector button that you switch to sport ect sticks to right they say they can't replicate that .....soon as I get it back it's gone .....trading it in for a lexus
