  • For today's kitchen basics recipe I have the best way of cooking crispy brussels sprouts that you guys are going to love. The first technique for cooking brussels sprouts in a in a cast iron pan, just treat them like a steak and sear the sprouts on both sides until well browned and crispy. The flavor of the brussels sprouts is incredible, nutty charred, and creamy. The second technique for how to cook brussels sprouts is roasted in the oven. Pre-heat oven to 450 F and roast the sprouts with salt, pepper, and oil for 30 minutes until well browned on both sides. Both of these techniques will be the best brussels sprouts recipe of your lie, guaranteed. So try them out and let me know how you like them! Much Love..Bobby & Dessi XOXO

You can cook them right on the stalk. It is super easy and delicious . Just clean the whole stalk. Wipe each sprout w. Olive oil. Put in oven at 375. Turn the stalk 1/3 rotation every 15 minutes. Delicious and makes beautiful, dramatic presentation.

Dude, you have made me a believer. I have been searching for the right way to cook brussel sprouts for months and all I end up with are these mushy or burned oven baked sprouts. "Just toss with olive oil and roast!" Yuck. But roasting in a cast iron pan until seared, then turning, is SO MUCH BETTER (and faster). Let me add my magical secret. After you've done all of the above, toss them in a bowl with a spoonful of caesar salad dressing. I learned this trick from a Hawaiian chef. You'd never know it was caesar and it adds just a hint of creaminess to these amazing little roasted morsels. SOOO GOOOOD

I watched this video and went straight to the kitchen. Brussel Sprouts seared in Ghee then oven roasted - I thought Yes! They were so delicious. I roast Brussel Sprouts all the time but this recipe is the winner. Creamy in the center just like he said and crispy on the outside. They are like Candy.

WOW and to think that I was scared to try it! My mother always talked about how bad it was. She cooked it and nobody liked it when she was younger, so she stopped. This recipe changed her mind. I’m going to try more vegetables that she discouraged me from.
There was also a comment that said to add garlic powder and lemon juice so I did that as well. It was so good that I almost forgot that I was eating a vegetable 😂 it’s my new favorite

I used to hate Brussels sprouts, then I learned how to cook them and they are my favorite. I chop and cook a little bacon and use the fat to fry the sprouts. A little higher heat gets you a nice outer seat and leaves just a bit of a bite on the inside. I've taken to adding sliced mushrooms and or toasted pecans for added texture. Finish with salt and pepper and a little bit of balsamic vinegar. Amazing.

You need to be on the food network. IM NOT KIDDING. or apply for their shows on competition for the next breakout chef with their own show. IM NOT KIDDING. You are at ease in front of the camera and know and believe in your dish. Some of the competitors on those shows are so nervous and I feel incompetent and I feel you are the opposite. Yes they are really good cooks, but can they relate to the people and most importantly the camera. You’ve got this 🦋💜

Love Brussels sprouts, especially roasted and my garlic Brussels sprouts breakfast scramble that I eat often. They're perfect. Anyway, I need t learn the new schedule cause I'm missing a few videos that I will check out soon.

Thanks for all your effort in making these recipe videos. I'm gonna make the second method. I actually have all the ingredients on hand. Even though I'm a detail person, it drives me nuts to think about turning every single brussel sprout in the pan method. I find that if I just roll/flip them around periodically in their entirety, they'll be just fine. :) Same thing with pan cooked shrimp. I just generally toss them around; ain't gonna flip every single one. One time I'll make an exception is with chicken livers! You seem a little tired and under the weather. I thought maybe we'd see our boy Art. Good it sounds like he's back. I'm gonna check out the links for more ideas!

Simple but truly one of the better methods on UA-cam, oven method never does quite get them as good though

Love these. I had some powdered garlic and dried rosemary after I had oil for the oven method as well of coarse him song pepper. Will have to try your recipe this Thanksgiving however because it sounds excellent!

So my mom cooked brussel sprouts into mushy blobs that tasted terrible and smelled worse. My 16yr old son is adventurous with food and likes to try new things. He requested brussel sprouts. I always encourage him to try things so I bought some. I found this video and pan seared them in garlic butter and not only did I like them, my son loved them! Woohoo. Tonight's dinner is sweet potato and pepper quesadillas!

Do you have to flip them when you do the oven method?
