Great video! It was cool seeing places you can recognize exact trees, houses, and rock formations from fishing at Ouachita in the past! Muddy water bassin' at it best!
Awesome video! Those GoPros are a pain sometimes! I had my boater last year win the whole thing on the Ohio river in the BFL. Keep up the great work and good luck on future tournaments!!
Congratulations on the win…. Even as a co-angler I believe you were in the best seat to watch that tournament unfold and you got to see his breakdown of that days pattern it’s only the beginning Ouachita ✊🏾
Lmao man I sure don’t miss that take off, that sucked that morning and subsequently so did I that day. Finished somewhere in purgatory! Smh it be like that sometimes though.
@@jamesedmonds8823 man it was tough day out for everybody for most part. Except for Blake, that boy smashed no doubt! My draw is/was a Ouachita hammer and even he was having a tough day. That’s tournament fishing though.
There's two things that I got from this video. One is that that young man took notes from two 2 four years on conditions, location and time of year he kept a diary. No replacement for experience. The second thing is when he went shallow and scoped out and was able to see those depressions. Because if you're out deep and scope shallow you can't see anyting. If you're not scoping you're hoping. Good job Blake that's the rewards for hard work and experience.
Me too! It's now worked itself into regular BFL practice with the man himself 🤙 Going out with em' this Friday to practice on his home pond at Dardanelle. Dudes a great fisherman and one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Thanks for the sub! Hope your enjoying the content! - James
Blake was super gracious with his casting space. He told me to fish like we were fishing together as buddies and I was fine as long as our lines didn't get tangled up. Which never happened. I always let him make the first cast at whatever we were fishing and if he missed one, I wouldn't cast at it.
@@brianmullaney9503 I've had a lot of boaters that have been nice and let me fish pretty openly. I always make sure I ask what their comfortable with 👌
Man that made an awesome video!! Congratulations Blake and great experience! That takeoff looked absolutely miserable. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊 yeah it was rough but that's part of it 🤘🤘🥶
Yeah, it was a tough ride for sure! Thanks for watching!

Man, it got lucky to get those two fish. I should have stuck out power fishing that morning, but I had finesse stuck in my head 🤦

Yessir, Blake definitely knows what he's doing! It was an experience of it's own to watch how he breaks down areas!
Glad you had a good draw!

Did he tell you, you can cast forward like you were to the front of the boatband what looked like over him at times?

@ouachitabassin That's Jedi AF of him! Your video could always be used somewhat of a case study to some extent.
