Blake was super gracious with his casting space. He told me to fish like we were fishing together as buddies and I was fine as long as our lines didn't get tangled up. Which never happened. I always let him make the first cast at whatever we were fishing and if he missed one, I wouldn't cast at it.

Hey now, no name dropping! 😂 Sucks that it broke, but got the chance to see if they would stand by their warranty and they had a new rod delivered in no time! 🤘

Yeah, losing a $300 rod hurts no matter what! There may have been a tear or two shed by us on this day 😭😭 but the rod didn't fall in the water, it SNAPPED right above the reel! The other end of the rod was still hanging on by the line..Luckily this company has a great warranty program and the rod was replaced in no time at all 👌

Hi, yes I do live in the village. I have not personally spent much time fishing with worms here but Ive seen guys in the Nextdoor group say they catch alot of big bluegill on live worms on the various lakes in the village! Good luck and if you make a trip out here let me know maybe we can wet a line or two 🎣

We bought a place on Lake DeSoto last year in July but still live in Texas. We started fishing the last 2 times we were there with artificial worms and caught a few largemouth bass from our Dock and this past week we used real worms to fish the bottom and caught some catfish. A family renting the place near our place kept catching either Bluegill or crappie with live worms.
