Crystal Ann , I love the way you teach how to use this machine the circuit ,you are so awesome I can understand what you're saying there's some that are so fast, I on't understand as well. You teach how to use it so well that's understandable l appreciate you.
Hi Crystal - I love your channel I believe you can still sublimate on the original easy press - before I bought a swing away heat press, I would sublimate coasters at 360 for 300 seconds and it worked beautifully. Not sure if you would get the same result on all substrates however. Thanks for all the great tips and ideas on your channel.
I love all your tutorials so clear and not overwhelming. I want to try so many things but unfortunately my printer does not sublimate and doesn’t support sublimation paper so I guess I will have to get another printer that does.😂
Ok so what I wanna know is some opinions on what printer I should buy to do more like my business logo. I new to this I live the cricut idea but I would have more use doing tshirts or cups keychains
The best sublimation printer depends on your needs (size, quality, speed, cost). The ones we recommend are Sawgrass SG500 or converted inkjet printers like Epson EcoTank ET-15000. But it all depends on your needs like the print size and your budget when choosing. 😊
There’s no difference I’ve been told, just that the 3rd gen press automatically connects to the circut easy press app via Bluetooth as it sends the ideal time and temperature settings .
The EasyPress 3 has Bluetooth for guided making and automatic settings while the EasyPress 2 requires manual settings. So, the EasyPress 3 is more convenient for beginners or those who prefer guided instructions. Hope that helps! 😊
The car coaster is really great! I like the black background. It does kind of look like a chalk board. I also like the purple background. It's my favorite color. The little dog is adorable! I am curious about something. If you wanted to put a design on the other side as well is there anything special you would need to do? Thank you!
Yes! The Sawgrass it’s a sublimation printer because it uses a different type of ink. There’s still normal printers like the Epson EcoTank that can be converted into sublimation printers. Hope that helps! 😊
Been learning watching your videos - but I'm confused - I thought with Sublimation to print out I read that you needed to use sublimation ink and also the sublimation machine - so do I need that or using a regular printer and ink is ok when you work with sublimation designs??
Actually you do need a sublimation printer because those printers work with a different type of ink. There’s some regular printers that can be converted into sublimation printers but make sure to search if that’s your case 😅
I live in the south in Arkansas, and it gets very humid. My sub printer - SG 500 is in my kitchen. The printer is on a heat press stand underneath the press on its own shelf. I make sure the house is nice and cool and the ceiling fan is on. I haven’t had any issues yet and have printed and pressed when it’s 100+ degrees outside. This week our heat index is supposed to reach 114. I’m just gonna work away. 😁
We recommend to keep your sublimation area fresh, open windows and doors often, and use fans to circulate the air. This will help prevent harmful fumes from building up. 😊

Sadly no 😢 But crafting felt on your Cricut Joy is super easy and fun! Just pick a design, cut it out of felt, and put it together using glue or thread. Make sure to test your cutting settings first on a scrap piece of felt. Good luck on your project! We’ll try to make a video on this topic soon 😊✂️🎉

Hi crystal. If we wanted to add text to that sublimation doggie or something else. Could you use just regular font in cricut design space and then print in on the sublimation printer and it be sublimated?? Or would you have to find sublimation font file? Hope this makes sense. I'm still learning sublimation. Tia
You don’t need to find an specific type of font! You can totally add font in cricut design space. You could also search in the variety of fonts in our website and use them on your project!😊
Love you videos. One concern I have as a beginner to this is when the sawgrass part comes in to play. I wish the other printers would be the “ norm” . I haven’t been able to create a successful finished project yet and I get frustrated trying to determine is it design space, sublimation paper, heat settings or what I’m doing wrong.
Hey there! If your laminating sheets are wrinkling on wood, try checking if the wood is dry, the temperature is right, and you’re applying even pressure. Also, make sure you’re using good quality laminating sheets. If you’re still having trouble, try laminating in smaller sections or using a heat gun. Good luck! 😊
Crystal Ann when I print and cut from Cricut I follow what you do but it doesn't take me to print manager. What do I have setup wrong? I end up just selecting my sawgrass and print.
You can sublimate on a canvas board always making sure it’s the right material, using a special sublimation blank, and following the heat press settings. Always test your settings first on a scrap piece of paper! Hope that helps! 😊
It’s really easy! To use ICC profiles in Cricut Design Space you’ll need to install the profile on your computer, open Design Space, find the color management settings, select the profile, and apply it. You’ll get more accurate color results in your sublimation projects. 😊
Hey there! It depends on the license. Most designs have different licenses that tell you what you can and can’t do. If you’re unsure, check the product details where it’s specified or contact Design Bundles support. 😊
Hi Crystal. Thank you so much love your channel. I have the Silhouette Cameo and an Easy Press Heat Press. Looks exactly like the Cricut. You don't seem to use much pressure. Mine requires super human pressure the htv to melt adequately into the fabric (otherwise you can pick at the edges) or for the colours to adhere sufficiently. Have you experienced this with the Cricut, like I said it doesn't look like you applying extreme pressure
Thank you so much for sharing your projects! I love watching your videos! You explain things so well! I know this doesn't pertain to this video but I was wondering what UV prints were? I'm wanting to make some.projects and have seen people say they use UV prints. Is there any way you could do a video on this?
Maybe they're too big, check if the internet is stable or if the format is correct. If you're still having trouble, try logging out and back in or contacting the platform's support. 😊
Idk why all these tutorials go so fast. If you're trying to learn how to do something you need a little slower speaking, give time to actually hit the buttons you tell, im more frustrated after watching than before. And wth is a bleed line?
You ain't lying. I have to use the payback speed adjuster on each video. Especially while your trying not to burn yourself (or a cat) while watching these videos lol good luck. This is all overwhelming
I find it helpful to watch the video before I start my project. Or watch a bit, do it. Watch a bit, do it. I prefer faster videos. But everyone learns a bit different. Sadly in situations like this, you have to cater to the teacher instead of the other way around. 😢
It is a little fast as all are in this subscription Design Bundles mainly with the instructions but I stop the video a lot and also go back….it works alright for me.
I’ve only had my Cricut for only 15 months and I’ve been watching your videos but I’ve noticed a change; I wish you well 🙏🏽
What does that mean?
Thanks for watching! We hope that you have mastered the sublimation printing 😉
Just got a Cicut and trying sublimation. Perfect vid and love the speed. Thanks ☺️
We’re glad the video helped! If you have any other questions let us know!

Hi Crystal, what sublimation paper did you used?
We recommend using the Siser EasySubli heat transfer vinyl 😊
I love all your tutorials so clear and not overwhelming. I want to try so many things but unfortunately my printer does not sublimate and doesn’t support sublimation paper so I guess I will have to get another printer that does.😂
Thank you so much for your support! We love it that you love it! 😊 We wish you good luck finding the new printer 😉
I've done tumblers in my Vevor press at 364° for 1.75 minutes(40sec./40sec./25sec.). Great results on tumblers.
Ceramic mugs @405° for 5 minutes
Thanks for the tips! And thanks for watching 😊
I'm super new and this video was exactly what I needed thank you!
Thank you for watching! We’re glad you liked it 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for the support 😊
I have sublimated with my original easy press with no problems. Did a glass cutting board and several coasters.
That’s awesome! We hope you can keep sublimating easily with your easy press 😊 thanks for watching!
New to your video. Like the black background for car coaster, it shows the colors nice. I'm learning sublimation.
Have you learned everything about sublimation yet? 👀 we’re glad our video helped you 😊
I've sublimated with the original easy press without an issue. I typically just use 360F for 120 sec when I'm using a shirt.
Awesome! Thanks for the tips 😊

Hi can you tell me what the big difference in the heat press 2 and 3 and great video?

I am curious about something. If you wanted to put a design on the other side as well is there anything special you would need to do? Thank you!
Not really! You’ll just have to sublimate the design you like on the other side the same way it’s explained in the video! 😊
This may be a silly question, but do you need a subliminaTion printer. Is the sawgrass a subliminaTion printer?
Yes! The Sawgrass it’s a sublimation printer because it uses a different type of ink. There’s still normal printers like the Epson EcoTank that can be converted into sublimation printers. Hope that helps! 😊

What is the clam shell heat press 16x24 you used in the beginners guide to using a heat press? Is it still your preferred clam shell heat press
Awesome video! Thanks! Are the zipper bags from Temu of good quality would you say?
They’re as good as they can be 😅
Do you have any tips or a video showing how to make sure your room is well ventilated in order to sublimate?
I live in the south in Arkansas, and it gets very humid. My sub printer - SG 500 is in my kitchen. The printer is on a heat press stand underneath the press on its own shelf. Hello, I wanted to know what paper was used for these projects? I got a little confused on that part.
It depends! You’ll need sublimation paper for hard surfaces like plates and mugs and sublimation vinyl for fabric 😊
Great tutorial! Where did you get the camping sublimation on your coffee mug?
I am new to cricut joy and wondering if you have a tutorial to making felt items? I am going to make felt eyes for amigurimumi.

Yes you absolutely can add text right there in design space 😊
You don’t need to find an specific type of font! You can totally add font in cricut design space. You could also search in the variety of fonts in our website and use them on your project!😊
Do you think this product would work with a hockey puck? Thank you
Yes! Let us know how that goes 👀

I haven’t been able to create a successful finished project yet and I get frustrated trying to determine is it design space, sublimation paper, heat settings or what I’m doing wrong.
crystal has her own channel @crystalann
Can you specify what goes wrong when you sublimate? That way we can help you! 😊
Where can you purchase the holder for the mug to hold it sideways when you are putting the design on? Thank you.
Amazon! You can find everything on Amazon haha 😂
This was a great video! I'm just wondering. Are you printing on sublimation paper or just copy paper?
You need sublimation paper for sublimation! Regular copy paper won't work. We recommend using Siser EasySubli vinyl for awesome results 😊
@@DesignBundles thank you!
Hello Crystal , I’d like to see a video with making car coasters and regular coasters using a picture on my phone: I love your videos
That’s a great idea! Thanks for watching ❤
What kind of printer? Can it be a regular printer, or what for sublimation?
There are some printers that can be converted into sublimation printers like the Epson Ecotank, but you can get a sublimation printer like Sawgrass 😊
Are you still doing the Dollar Deals on the last Wed of the month? Like today??
Every month still! 😊
Love the black
That’s our favorite one too 😉
i have been trying to use the laminate sheet on wood but it keeps wrinkling, what am i doing wrong?

Hi Crystal Love your videos. I have a car console that is made of 100% polyester and I wanted to sublimate on it. It's black so what could I use?
We recommend using a sublimation vinyl specifically designed for automotive applications. 😊
Thanks for the support! ❤
Crystal Ann when I print and cut from Cricut I follow what you do but it doesn't take me to print manager. What do I have setup wrong? I end up just selecting my sawgrass and print.
how did you get the image to turn
Can you specify what do you mean by turn? So we can help you 😅
Where is the link for the smart folder video you spoke about that you would have linked?
Can I print it straight off design space?
No 😢 the Cricut Design Space it’s only for creating or preparing your designs, for printing it you need to export it 😊
Can you use the DTF hack with mugs? I’m new to sublimation n really stupid.
I got the white bags from temu as well.
They work perfectly for sublimation 😊
Dose this hack works on canvas board too?
You can sublimate on a canvas board always making sure it’s the right material, using a special sublimation blank, and following the heat press settings. Always test your settings first on a scrap piece of paper! Hope that helps! 😊
Hi do u use icc in design space
It’s really easy! To use ICC profiles in Cricut Design Space you’ll need to install the profile on your computer, open Design Space, find the color management settings, select the profile, and apply it. You’ll get more accurate color results in your sublimation projects. 😊
What happened to Crystal's UA-cam videos? There has not been anything new for 8 months or so
We were on a break 😂 But we’re back now! Don’t forget about us 😢
once you buy the pack can you use it for something i’m selling. i need a special license to use the image .
Hey there! It depends on the license. Most designs have different licenses that tell you what you can and can’t do. If you’re unsure, check the product details where it’s specified or contact Design Bundles support. 😊
Does anybody knows why DB stopped making the big bundles?
Maybe we can make them again? 😊 Would you buy them? 👀

I'm interested to know as well

No needs sublimation ink

Are you starting on sublimation printing? 👀
@@DesignBundles yes!we have 18+ Years Experience in sublimation
I noticed your videos have stopped....is everything ok?

Crystal is okay! And we are too! Now we have Laura on the spotlight and we’d love that you support her as well 😊

In this moment Laura will be on the spotlight! We hope that you support her! ❤
Do you have a link to the camping sublimation on your coffee mug?
Are you not doing videos anymore?
I noticed the other day I hadn't gotten any notices for videos. Wonder what's going on.
I think she has her own channel now if you search for Crystal
Why no recent videos? Did I miss some news or something? It’s been a month or more right?
