Great video and tips!! I think you might need to add the rubber mat back on the heat press before you press your design so it gives it more pressure and touches all of those areas on the design and tote bag. Thank you for the great ideas!!!
I agree, great tips and video. i was also thinking that the top area where the print needed even pressure was not "touching" the plate completely and a silicon or rubber mat below the bag would have solved the issue of the seams and handles being in the way. I maybe wrong as I was watching this video because I'm still learning about DTF stuff.
Hi, I watched your full video, and I got an idea about the printer. Now, I am trying to find what kind of printer I am using for starting small business . Thanks for your video
Hi! We’re so glad the video was helpful. For starting a small business, we’d recommend looking into the Epson EcoTank or Canon PIXMA series. They’re both great for high-quality prints and cost-efficiency. Best of luck with your business! 😊
1) the bigger the project, the longer the ink is already drying before adding powder. 2) the powder was thicker in areas due to 2 coatings and 3) as mentioned previously, a pressing pillow/pad would allow better coverage. Just my observations.
Great observation! using a pressing pillow/pad can help achieve more even coverage. We’ll definitely keep that in mind for future projects. Appreciate your feedback! 😊
You should have used your heat pad so that you could get good pressure. I washed, my DTF, T-shirt, and the resolution remains the same, with no peeling. Trial and error 😊
It's always best to use d. T. F inc when doing this type of process. I know everyone tries to do it. Go around and I have been there myself using my sublimation machine as well. As the method that you just used the only recommendation that I could give is to do heavy pressure because it's required when doing this type of process and then it. If you see that the letters or whatever your design is coming up while you are peeling it back then you need to immediately stop and then do another press and then wait and let it cool down a little bit and then attempt it again.
You definitely did not “cook” the transfer long enough. Some was starting to finish but was removed from the heat too soon. Great to learn that regular ink can be used.
@@christinemaldonado8973 Thanks for the feedback. You're absolutely right-timing is crucial for a perfect transfer. It's amazing that regular ink can be used, making the process even more accessible. We’ll make sure to pay closer attention to it next time. Appreciate your input! 😊
@@CaraJames-o5h Hi! The heat press used in the video it’s a StarCraft 8-in-1 here’s the link to it: www.143vinyl.com/starcraft-12-x-15-8-in-1-swing-away-he at-press-silver.html?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_-GxBhC1A RIsADGgDjsFulG2f4DnerAocno4R8zYU71Bcot48bQm39v00vh- X1JtRlyUTIEaAjGoEALw_wcB
Hi! Thanks for the tip. We’ll make sure to melt the powder thoroughly next time before pressing for a better transfer, we always appreciate your feedback!
Thanks for pointing that out, Danyelle! It’s really important to make sure that the powder is fully cured so it looks vibrant and shiny. Great advice! 😊
We’re sorry to hear that. Sometimes it takes a bit of tweaking to get it just right. Don’t give up! Feel free to share more details, and maybe we can troubleshoot together. 😉

Thank you for watching! We’re glad you liked it! That’s a good idea, we’ll have to try it ☺️
How about the pad missing under the bag. That would press it better.
Yes! That’s a great tip for better pressure!

You're right, using a heat pad helps ensure even pressure. Glad to hear your DTF T-shirt is holding up well. Thanks for sharing your experience! 😊

Thank you so much for your feedback! It’s really appreciate it ❤ and it absolutely needs heavy pressure in these cases 😅

Maybe you should use a heat press pillow inside the bag
@@rabiaahmed9588 Great advice! We’ll try it ☺️
How do you spell the brand of dtf film you use? Also what powder did you use?
It’s CenDale premium DTF transfer film and she used Godora transfer powder for this project! 😊
you can see the powder didn't completely heat up on the one edge- exactly where the letters peeled off.
@@mindybosket4386 True! We have to make sure to heat up every part of our design! Thanks for the feedback!
what is your heat press?

Looks like you forgot to put the mat back on the heat press before pressing the design causing it to press uneven.
Hi Mari! Good catch-you're right. Not using the mat can definitely cause uneven pressing. Thanks for pointing that out! 😊
Definitely the missing pad did not allow a good pre press and not enough pressure when doing the transfer.
Thanks
You’re welcome! 😊
Hi Laura, it looks like it just needed a bit more pressure... V
It definitely did 😂 good tip to keep in mind for future projects. Appreciate the feedback! ❤
Seems as though you didn't melt the power thoroughly before pressing.

And maybe the handles hanging off the press.
The handles need to be off the press so there’s no accidents 😅
I would use more time.
Great suggestion! Maybe next time we’ll try increasing the pressing time to ensure the transfer adheres properly. Thanks!
Not enough pressure
Hey there! You’re right, it looks like it needed a bit more pressure. Thanks for the tip!😊
Looks like your powder wasn’t cured enough. It should look vibrant all over and shiny on the back.
Thanks for pointing that out, Danyelle! It’s really important to make sure that the powder is fully cured so it looks vibrant and shiny. Great advice! 😊
It didn’t work for me 😞

why don't you try DTF ink instead of inkjet ink
Hi Shaikhu! Great suggestion-using DTF ink can definitely improve the quality. Thanks for the tip!
This will wash away pretty quickly. No point of doing this.
It might though it’s supposedly permanent. We definitely need to do some stress tests with some washable items.
