The Truth -
Now I can't live without Jon's Vlog :)
Wow, I love how it turned out. Finally no mess anymore xD.
I was just finished helping my mum with mounting furniture for here living room, made a cup of coffee. Was ready to think of something else and enjoy some hardcore music gear..... No, more building by Jon Sine. Hehe, by the way, congrats Jon. You really deserve all of it.
It really is a great feeling once you get things how you really want them... It looks great.. Impressive,..
Happy to see you happy. making something always feels better than buying.
Thank you so much for making all of these videos. Not only did you do an amazing job on the desk you filmed it too. The amount of work you do is amazing.
Also the doctor analogy was stellar. It's great to see you so happy, excited, and relieved.
Thank you
can you share the desk design specs ? the desk is really nice 🤩🙏🏼
Setting up a studio, is the best feeling!
Watching you create your vision musically combined with studio design is ever so inspiring and dope AF.
Good job mate! I could only dream of being as DIY savvy as you lol!
that table is epic
Bro just watching you looking so thrilled and get passionate blessed my heart! SO happy for your happiness bro genuinely!! Wonderful video to find
Nothing like your studio finally coming together!!!
I think it's dope. People do what works for them, and you have put a lot of work in ensure that. I love the attention to detail.
the desk looks great! very happy for you!
love this, love the passiion for it too! Peace from Ireland! PS that industrial unit place looks so cool! Reminds me of a version of where hans zimmer based himself at the start in London
Well done ... great work.
looks amazing. I cant wait to share my custom studio desk. I managed to cover it with wood to match the surroundings of the room. again that took a lot longer to build and plan. Fitting the raven Mti2 onto the desk was the mission and hiding all cables for all my hardware. It's so rewarding isn't it 👍
man I would buy that in a flash! Nice desk!!!!
trank you :)
Congrats on your studio . The tables look great and the hard work is paying off . BRAVO !!!!!
Good work, looks amazing. The Sand in the legs is a classic. The table looks perfect now, now I am inspired to build mine finally...
Coming along pretty nicely!!!👍🏻
Great work Mr. Sine!
It's BRILLIANT!!!!
Great job!!! Really looks like a fantastic studio now.
Awesome
Very nice studio set up.. I'm planning to build one as well..
1:06 when a producer becomes a desk builder 😂😂
Hi Jon... I'm a new subscriber from the Gold Coast, Australia and have just binged watched your entire studio build playlist. I'm currently where you were on your 'black and white' first studio picture but watching your journey is so inspirational. I hope Vanessa overcame her medical drama's and you're both doing well now. I love your studio so much! And watching your mind create from sketch to completion was the best thing I've watched in 2021. All the best for the future and I hope to emulate your studio one day in the future. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
This is my favorite blog
Congrats on the studio.
simple DIY stuff can be a nice result. like it
Nice DIY job. Lots of work but always feels amazing when you're done (and saves lots of money too). I feel you on the heart surgery part though. Lol.
Looks great buddy
It Does look Good!
desk lookin great Jon!
Good job Jon mate proud of you 👍
That was dope
One day of Jon Sine productivity is like a month in my time. lol
Nice!
Incredible Jon! I Love it!
bro that looks beautiful!
Nice job, Jon.
I quite understand your relief, it's always a little drama for us when our studio, where we create, is not fonctional.
This week my main mac just breaks and it is now in a workshop for repairing, I have to work with my laptop in "holyday configuration".
Fortunatly I try to maintain this laptop as a miror of the iMacPro the best as I can (same plugins, same sound banks, etc...) but well, when I see my desk with a 27'' vaccum... I feel baaaaaaaaaaaaaad! 😩
looks really cool
Good work Jon. Looks great. Your attention to detail shows
That wood texture in the desk is MINT, nice work Jon
thanks
Very nice
looks epic
Nice build. I'm planning to do a variation of your build. I already have two steel table legs.
What is the diameter of the metal square tubes you've used?
Congratulations 🙂👍
Looks great Jon!
congratulations man , that much of happiness and energy from you makes me really happy , and btw don't call those babes toy, please 😄
Recommend black on front wall (speaker wall).
Are you planning on adding a screen at the front of the desk Jon?
Congrats man that’s allot of work !
Congratulations! The angle of the gear in the table has changed? What is the angle now?
Looks Great..
Congrats buddy! Desk looks amazing, well done 💯
Thanks
DX7 with new pitch wheels? Can you please show more this beauty?
Tomorrow
How are you managing the label, studio upgrades, making tracks, recording and editing videos? Like this must be hella stressful but I can’t complain, i love the videos
I just wake up and work as much as possible
Great work, and it's a pleasure to see your enthusiasm Jon (and Axsens family)
By the way.. IF anything, maybe a padded leather edge on that table would make having your hands-on it and working a lot more pleasurable. But hey... little by little. I'm glad the cable-spaghetti mess is now a thing of the past.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot. Yes it’s on my todo list getting something padded
Amazing, but just wonder how much weekly u spend on an electricity bill?
5:03 look at it..... you can see cables hanging down 😂😂😂
Psst was still installing that night
Very very cool... do you consider using a power conditioner (Furman style) to protect all your gear? Highly recommended right?
I got protection but yes maybe a furman on top
Amazing desk build, looks wonderful! Just wondering what black paint you used for the slanted part of the desk, or what you can recommend in the types of paint applicable for something like that? Trying to do something similar, not sure what to get. Love you're videos man! And the studio looks sick!
thanks. it was just black spray paint between mat and glossy
Great work Jon! make sure next time you do the wobble test on the table not to leave the camera on the table as it exposed a wobble in the camera ;). never the less, i admire your hard work and love your videos more and more each day!
looks dope. great work.. i also wana update my studio
hey bro could you documents how you make that recess pocket for the two pieces of gear in the arm rest. im considering doing something similar when I build my studio
The cutout for the big speakers looks so cheap, you should cover that
yes it will be covered once the new speakers arrive might take one or two more months
Very good work Jon. Regarding haircut, i always cut my own hair 👴 That way i can buy more music and beers 🎼🍻😄
glad your babies have been resuscitated. What chair are you using? Any recommendations in the >$500 category?
It’s a Herman Miller Saiyl
👍👍👍
Do you have plans of your desk build you can share?
Thanks
congrats! I would not do any cutouts. you ever change gear out! the cutout is still there.
the SINE cockpit :)
Yes yes
Looks perfect. All it needs now is a padded strip along the front of the desk to rest your arms on :)
Already ordered
Jon Sine of course it is :)
The plane is ready
came out very nice, and best of all, has much more stability than the table before. Why did you spray the wood instead of just painting it?
Faster smoother and I didn’t have to buy a brush
What did you paint it with?
At 0:19 you can hear the melody of “Once Upon a Time in the West” 😄
Wich wood did you used for the table?
multiplex
Hi just wanted to warn you about the ear plugs that you use to protect your ears. İ have been using them for a long time and i had instant hearing loss because of them. İ suggest you to use overhead versions of them. 👋
Are you doing a new room measurement and video now the tables are different compared to the old ones?
Yes
Which angle did u use on the racks?¿ and which angle with the table?¿ , It's pretty nice.
I think 45 and 8
@@Jonsine thank you!!!!
Are you able to charge more for sessions since your studio is now able to house more gear and be better treated?
the studio is only for me. people can only rent the b studio we will also redo it but at a later stage Germany is still in a lockdown
How much for the studio build and all of the gear?
Nice bike ! : )
Jon check out nob control I think you really like is great with a mouse
Hey Jon, do you think you've finished :) ? I could bet you're not. You are in need of a Motorized Faders controller still (with foot switch)... you'll need to make room for them :P. (I just ordered the iCon Platform M+, which works perfectly with LPX, so I've researched)
I am about to find out if they really improve and speed up the workflow, not just for the obvious mixing tasks, but for creating as well, maybe even more so, because you can customize it for each plugin or virtual instrument.
I'll let you know, but I am betting on it.
I had multiple controllers they never worked for me in a good way
@@Jonsine i have some too. But, not motorized faders that instantly moves as you pass through tracks or change plugins/virtual instruments.....
I'm planing to have 8 ten cm faders dedicated each one to muy selected parameters per instrument.... so I will not have to even open the plug-in .... just learn which fader is what in each instrument..... and as I pass through the tracks.... the automations and levels will be the new parameters instantly on the faders.....
Well, that's my intention... I'll let you know if I succeed once I get that controller.
👍
I'm interessted for the desk... HOW MUCH..??? 😂😂😂
I will advice you to put some covering on your desk because at the end I don't think your paint will be durable
i will than just repaint it
Jon can u share the link of that cycle that behind you at starting of the video.
My question is Why dont You have a control surface or a mixing fader to save some time?
Love your videos btw!!!
Tried it out don’t really like it but I got a small behringer mini for soloing and muting
The 2 rack looks like OTT
Just saying 😂😂
Looks good, but no cushion on the armrest? Especially on the front edge.
Coming in the next days
No eye protection?
6:42 Table still wobbles? :o Everything is looking great though!
That was the camera
you could get a rack mounted Mac Pro
aslong as it's not delivered with an m1 chip no way
Buying studio desks is the BIGGEST RIPP-OFF in the music market today. Good for you. Simple desks for 2-5 grand is just ridiculous.
I know you did a studio tour with your gear but can you do one more to refresh our memory?
Will be out in a view hours
