I’ve been looking for a set up just like this, and you did an awesome job by the way. I just wish you had the blueprint of the whole thing, I would love to build this for myself.
Nicely done on the rack sides pocket screwed to the top after it was in place. The structural rigidity you get from the rack pieces is all you need. I usually leave 19 1/8" space for a 1/16" on either side for play - 19" is the width of rack gear, but good to have it not too tight. The benefit of the brad nailed top is that if he wants a longer span for 2 27" monitors and speakers it's easy to swap it out.
When you take time and really practice your craft it shows. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. May it inspire others to be their best.
Yeah that’s pretty much how my business got started! I was just making DIY plans for clients and had more and more people asking me to build things for them. What are you looking to have done for your next desk?
Cool, but not cool for me. I want my equipment on the sides like left and right and then more space in between that for my 2 screens and the studio music monitors on top. that would be my best setup to go with. Would want a lighter color of wood also and the holes shut be nices covered with some pvc thingy's to let the wires go trough for a smoother look. But these just how i wanted it to be.
Hey! Yes I do! The website has changed, and I don’t have plans on it anymore, but send me an email and I can send them your way, here’s my new business website Artesao.co
Yes, a few months ago I changed my business model and name, the new website doesn’t have the plans on it yet. But if you go to my new website Artesao.co And send me an email i’ll hook you up with the plans!
That’s pretty killer… I’m planning on using the hard rubber T molding instead of edge banding for durability, but the higher end birtch ply doesn’t look terrible without it… it’s a tough decision on the edges because it takes so much work… nice build, it’s definitely inspiring and makes me want to get started… if only I could even decide on a design….
That’s awesome! if you head over to my website, shoot me an email! I’m happy to jump on a call and brain storm a 3D design with you if you’re interested!
I still have them, I changed business names and got a new website, which doesn’t have the plans on them, if you go to my new site and email me, i’ll hook you up with the plans artesao.co

Much appreciated!
Really great looking desk. I have the same QCon controllers so this would be perfect for my new desk build.
Very complicated looking design and construction, looks good.
Nicely done!
Nice! Wish I had the tools (and skill) to build my desk. I had my desk custom built, but I don't really have the time for the next one.

Nice work. What company makes the height adjustable legs and what is their weight capacity?
Thanks! These ones are made by VIVO and they have a 176lb weight limit

Cable management becomes a key issue with a standing desk.
Yeah cable management can be a real pain, i’m just glad my client wanted to take care of that themselves!
Just leave slack.
(Secure it at the high point.)
You still got the plans for this?
