Can we get this lost baby OWL back to his family?!

- We will go to any lengths (or heights!) to help a wild animal in need and, when this young tawny owl (called an 'owlet') got blown out of his nest, Lawrie and Jacob immediately set off to help!
Luckily, we have the equipment and trained personnel to attempt 're-nesting' rescues... watch to see how the boys got on!

Lawrie is so impressive for being both an animal rescuer and a pro climber.
And photographer!
Just when they thought they'd gotten rid of him...
I'm joking, very nice job Lawrie.
😂😂😂
I love the little "Correct, now go away" at 3:19
Very glad the little owl is back in the nest!
Dang! How did you catch that? I had to go back frame by frame to see it. Good catch!
It's a common thing they do so I keep an eye out! When I see the flicker of text I pause it and forward it second by second.

Congratulations on the safe return of the small muppet
"Small muppet" 😂😂
@@SlimeyLemonz I have been watching true facts about the owl

Awh that was a very peaceful and emotional rescue. Such a beauty the baby owls nesting in the tree. I find my self mesmerized watching them. Well done gentlemen 💕
You guys are a hoot!
@@leahjacobson9253 Yeah they are!!!
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, fighting off the rain, and rescuing wee owls are just another day at Wildlife Aid. Well done 👍.
Lawrie is my hero! He goes to such lengths for the animals⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a wonderful rescue! Those little owls are beautiful.
I have a soft spot in my heart for fledgling owls. We rescued one from a playground in Oklahoma once. Yes, it promptly jumped down once we got it up there. So had to do it again. My son (who did the climbing) ended up covered in poison ivy rash from head to toe from its tree!
What an amazing rescue. Much respect, Lawrie. The looks on the little owls' faces, so adorable. WAF does such awesome, caring, compassionate work. 💖🤗🦉
"HEY! YOU AREN'T MOM!"
Simon has chosen the bearers of his legacy SO WELL. Thank you Lawrie and Jacob, masterful !
Bedankt
Simon couldn't have asked for a better person to work alongside him. I remember seeing Lawrie sliding flat under a shipping container? No room to hardly lift his head, he was going in to save a fox at the back of the area... That was something else, he had no way of escaping the fox if it decided to attack. Now he's climbing/abseiling a tree .... What a fella 👍.
So happy to hear Simon's beautiful voice narrating ❤️
Thank you, Lawrie!!! Glad the little one is back home!
Lawrie climbing high up the tree is certainly no mean feat but also doing this because of his deep compassion of animals is truly courageous. Once again Simon and his team at Wildlife Aid are working their magic to rescue and rehabilitate sick and orphaned animals which procures them as true guardian angels of the animal world . Thank You guys for all the hard work you do especially bringing the awareness to people about the plight of these creatures and how we can help keep them safe .❤ Kylie from Australia 🇦🇺
That was a wonderful rescue! So brave - Laurie and the owls 🌳🧗🦉🦉🦉🦉
"Correct, and now go away!" 🤭
Thank you on behalf of the tawny owl family! 🤗😃👍
These owls don't have a nice cave to live in! It can rain into it and the little ones can slip down when they develop from nestlings to branchlings. How about installing a little roof above the hole and a rail along the bark to the next save, horizontal branch? Or how about a big wooden box with a door for cleaning once a year in an "Y" of branches where they can climb out safely? 😉 Both later this year.
You'd never know there were all these babies in that tree, highlights the necessity to leave trees alone & stop chopping them down for new human houses etc.
Well done Lawrie, you're a 🌟 as usual.
Those owlets are so amazingly cute! Thanks for all you do.
It was so lovely to see you brave the cold rain and climb up that tree in order to help get that owl back to his family. I wish there were more people that care about animals like you guys. Keep it up!
I love watching these ones, where the babies are reunited with their families ❤️
Thank you for you Pod cast, Hoping in the next few months I will be financially stable to send a donation. Spring here and have young wild life. I am single elderly, on a fixed income at the moment. Hope Simon is still able to enjoy life, and has many more months, and hopefully years left. I really do enjoy him. and Lorie and others in these Podcasts. Wish USA were more responsible .
That's some skill with that climbing!
Amazing work. How very talented, kind, and superhuman of Lawrie, and all the caring people. You all do such fantastic work❤
Sometimes I think Lawrie joined WAF just so that he could get himself up high in trees and spelunking underneath shipping containers, skips and bath tubs :)
Beautiful rescue, and hope that this silly little owl will grow up all nice and healthy :)
Jacob and Lawrie, what a team. 👍👍👍👍👍
You did it again guys! Great work! XXX
I could not climb that tree, if my life depended on it, respects!
So sweet to see them back together.
So Laurie is Even more talented than we already knew 😊
I feel like singing in the rain!
Thank you!!
You made that look easy. Very impressive.
I'm getting vertigo just from watching the video. Very impressive rescue.
My heart tipped over with joy and delight on the safe return.
Well done WAF team!
Well done guys. Prayers for Simon
Laurie you are my absolute hero. Well done mate. Thank you for the view of the young and wonderful owls.
👏 well done Lawrie ! Very brave of you to climb that tree! You guys are all amazing! Ty for rescuing and returning the baby owl.
We had a fox roaming around calling where I live and although I never got see it , I caught it’s call on my ring . ❤
It's interesting to watch Lawrie climb the tree, and a great skill for returning owl babies to the nest!
I love it when the Brits say "a little bit of rain." I'm in California, we call it "pouring." lol
the look of the tiny owl kiddies like "Whaaaaat?!" when their sibling comes home... :D
Nesting over a busy road. Good for predators not so for rescuers and reunions ❤. Great he is back. Mum & dad grounded him anyway 😂
That was great, thanks for putting the baby back in the nest. You guys always have some interesting adventures 👍
That was so nice to see. I sure hope no one gets a broken neck in the process of putting these children back in their nests. It really looks dangerous. Look after yourselves.
😱 oh wow that was a tricky job, but well done👏👏 for getting the baby back with its family, do hope it wasn't rejected after being away then coming back again 🤔 another outstanding video thanks 💖😁
Hopefully the little owlet won't try any more adventures before being able to fly. Glad s/he is back home safe with the family. Siblings looked rather shocked to see a human peeking in their house.
They're such elusive animals, I've never even spotted one
Amazing work as always, folks, with Lawrie doing his part so well he (almost) made it look easy.
Good thing the weather was so nice for climbing a tree and looking into the hollows.[/s] 😅
Thank you Lawrie and Jacob.
What a gifted man Lawrie is! I wish the owls the best of luck, but it is a bit sad that their home is so close to heavy traffic. I guess the housing situation is pretty bad for owls too in the UK.😉
What a fantastic adventure - for all of you guys, and the little owls are real darlings !!!
small laundry baskets make great replacement nests, when owlets fall from the nest, before they are ready to fledge... Mom and Dad can still access the baby and feed it... and it has a great perch to fledge from ... old belts make great straps... necessity is definitely the mother of invention. Great job everyone. xx
Probably all the other owlets were pleased he'd gone as now there will be less food to go round! 😮
Thank you for everything you do or the animals.💗💗💗💗.
Job very well done!!
Thank Ye 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 XXXX
Great job! Would have been interesting to watch how his siblings reacted having him brought back....
Oh team WAF❤
Looking forward to the live vid tonight!
Lawrie, you just keep getting cuter ;)
Beautiful! Thank you for your efforts! ❤
Very impressive! Great job
Absolutely brilliant well done Lawrie
いつもありがとう😊✨Baby owls are cute!
Took me a few minutes to catch the quick subtitle from the owl babies as you were checking on them! Thank you so much for helping this little guy/gal get home and braving the elements to get it there.
A tip for the future, when you stop the video you can go frame by frame using the "," and "." buttons on your keyboard. Makes reading these quick messages much easier. =)
@@ChronoAegis It works on my PC, but not on my laptop or ipad! booo! but thank you!
He makes it look so easy… that’s talent 💋♥️Ty for using that talent to do what you do!!! 💋💋

His climbing skills are amazing!! Thanks for saving that one.
Do you ever get angry bird parents that come out to yell at you when you return their babies?
I’m scared of heights!! This was fun though. 🦉
Well done!
