    I bought Dreamtonics Synthesizer V (MIDI to Voice) to add singing to my tracks better than I can do with my voice. I’m very impressed.

    FL Studio has been working pretty well for all of this stuff. I haven’t really needed to change pitch much but for sure the stem extraction tool came along just in time.
    My biggest hope is that FL will partner with Suno or something similar and then it will have access to our whole session (as opposed to having to export a 60 second clip and upload it to Suno for a sample to “extend”). I want to automatically place an isolated vocal track into my session basically as soon as it’s created by the AI and is downloaded to my computer. Hell, might as well even have the text-to-speech option like Ace Studio. FL has had their own text-to-speech for years but the last time I looked at it, it was still so primitive that I couldn’t find a use for it.

    Awesome! I'm curious how do you compare this to Kits AI in terms of the output quality? I remember you really liked Kits AI in the past few months, which offered similar capabilities 😄

    • @BobDoyleMedia
      @BobDoyleMedia  6 місяців тому +1

      It's a tough call. it seems to vary based on the source material. The quality on both platforms can be great. The separation on this service is really good in my opinion, but again I think it ultimately relies on the quality of the original track.

      @@BobDoyleMedia Many thanks! I've tried Kits AI a few times after watching your tutorial, there's indeed been a a couple of times where fractions of leftover reverbs and backup vocals (well, typical SUNO problems lol) still got mixed into the background music. I'll definitely try the stem separation on this new platform this week!

    How is stem separation compared to ripX?

    • @BobDoyleMedia
      @BobDoyleMedia  5 місяців тому +1

      @@yutu3327 it depends on the recording, so I’d actually have to do a head to head test with the same song. Probably not a bad idea.

    • @yutu3327

      @@BobDoyleMedia Yes please do, since Suno doesn't have good stem separation like Udio, I was using RipX. But it's not perfect so looking for something better.

    ok, sounds great, But, in the voice splitter, the voice is not clear, I tried with my own songs, and my voice, to make sure, it's very loud that I hear traces of other instruments, even drums. So, when I try, to use that voice, in cloning, it sounds so fake. it is not good enough for me.

    Not allowing at least 2 downloads per day on the free plan is just plain RUDE. You can't even separate a vocal from the backing track and then download both stems so that you could remix or experiment with them. And then for the lowest paid plan to be $20 is just ridiculous. There should be a price in the middle for users who want access to the tools but probably won't use them very much. And so, my message to this company is that they should go screw themselves, and I will find an alternative option that is MUCH more reasonable. But thanks for the review. The quality does sound better than the one I am currently using.

    • @BobDoyleMedia
      @BobDoyleMedia  6 місяців тому +2

      I feel like a lot of these companies are trying to find their way in the marketplace in terms of pricing. I don't think that most of these companies are trying to be jerks about pricing, but are just trying to find a business model that supports their work. This is new territory, and there is a lot of competition. You're not alone in your opinions about these kinds of pricing structures. I'm sure the market will eventually line everything up. For now, I guess it's just about which tool calls to you the most and has the best of all combinations of price and quality. It's not easy.

      I think the "pay as you go" price point is pretty fair and perfect for those casual users: Just pay 29.99 and stretch the usage over several months.

    • @zedxxx9
      @zedxxx9 6 місяців тому

      @@BobDoyleMedia -- I agree... but they've got to play it smarter if they want to attract regular customers. The only way I am using their services is if I can prove to myself that they are the one to go with, and when I can only download ONE result a day during my free period of testing the services, that it is the sign of a company that is not being realistic about attracting fans of their service. And why can I upload 3 files? I can test 3 different files a day, but I can only download one result? I think they need to relook at that... but they did change their pricing today, so they are responding to feedback!

    • @zedxxx9
      @zedxxx9 6 місяців тому

      @@planethanz - I hadn't realized the last price point was "pay as you" go. That one is probably the best option. Also THEY CHANGED THEIR PRICES today so that the middle level is only $14.95 (more reasonable) and the third tier can also be $39.95 for an extra 200 minutes. They're getting it figured out. The free plan needs a little love too though...

    I'm still looking and waiting for a good way to separate in stems the various vocals of a chorus. If anyone knows anything, any suggestions?

    • @TruthBeToldTP
      @TruthBeToldTP 6 місяців тому

      There's no tool for that because it's not possible, and it won't possible never because we use filters, reverbs, effects, glue vsts and the list goes on, so it will never be possible to extract a clean take with vocals with several layers.
      That's not how this steam separator technology works.
