I love when you put in your lyrics or prompt and it pops out a perfect song that sounds exactly how you imagined it. It's like magic. Did anyone find out how to delete or trash generated tracks you don't like?
I learned something in this video: I had "created" some songs with suno for one month... and now, listening to your creations I notice, that I recognize that voice (female vocals), and the singing style (regardless) of the style of music, is exactly the same. This means... also my songs (bachatas) will emediatly be recognized as Suno - AI - Creations. Good to know! Variations take place in certain levels... and on others they don't. Complete creative freedom is still an illusion.
@@bobbyboe it’s so true that these AI songs are becoming instantly recognizable as such by people who have listened to enough of them. But in some ways, I think that’s good because now people don’t have to be so scared about AI taking over the music industry at this moment. I still think AI is extremely valid as a creative inspirational tool for musicians to work from but not be the final product.
For me everything sounds like AI. Even the top 40 charts. So I probably cant tell the difference (or all major artists are using AI now ... which seems smart if they did).
Very appreciated, dear Bob. I'm currently trying it out and I'm quite impressed. Yes, it reminds me of Suno, but that's not a bad thing. I now have a set of songs that I've tried out on Suno, Udio and now LoudMe. LoudMe does a good job, especially the instrumentation and structure are exciting and varied. In terms of vocals, Udio is still clearly ahead, imho.
I've only ever used my own lyrics and some of the stuff Suno has come up with (using those lyrics) has blown me away. Sometimes takes a few 'spins' to really nail the pace and style I'm thinking of when creating the lyrics but I've always gotten really good quality stuff on at least 1 of the generations. Different generations often have different 'sections' that I really love so at some point I'll put the time into stitching and editing different variations together now that stems are available and there's a bit more accessibility there. Will definitely give this one a go as well and see if it's able to deliver the same quality I've gotten with Suno.

Wow! As a musician and songwriter, the music created was very musical and well-produced. There are still "artifacts" in the vocal sound giving away the fact it was created with ai, but as it improves I imagine it will be smoothed out. Even the solos were well done!

"LoudMe" and "Suno" are good too, but in most of the songs I did, they have that touch of "auto tune" in the vocals that makes them more artificial. Udio has great music and great vocals but they can't put them together they lay vocal on top of music and it will not flow like Suno. Also Suno can do so much more and easier to work, you can get good songs with a couple try's and Udio :( I have wasted some many credits. Suno, (except perhaps for some exceptions, which haven't touched me yet), practically only has those voices and those rhythms. Create a song faster, but... GENERALLY, they are simple songs, voices with "auto tune" and limited ARTISTIC CREATION. I prefer to spend more time creating a good song than to have 10 songs with auto tune. I sometimes get results that - I kid you not - The lyrics sounds like subliminal although slightly scrambled messages even though I write my own lyrics. The start of the song will be true to my own lyrics but then suddenly some strange lyrics are added in the end. I will gladly send you samples in an e-mail. Also I got a message saying : Insufficient Credits! I wonder what that is all about?!

Big problem: Extend does NOT extend the song in question. It creates a similar version but does not attach it to (extend) the original song.... please fix. Another bug: it just took the description of the song and used it as lyrics even though instrumental was selected!!!! Quite weird.......
I took me tens of tries to get what I wanted. But hey, its free ! Eventually starting to get some tunes better than Suno or Udio. I particularly like that it seems to recognise the (main) languages, generating the correct pronunciation.
Thanks for the heads up. TBH - the turtle duet wasn't a duet, so sad about that, but I like the overall experience. The beginning and ending of the music is spot on - first time ever. The length is satisfactory too. Haven't tried extending yet, but that is where most of these programs have left me flat. I realise there must be a plan to monetize for the future in their T&C of commercial use, but as I am unlikely to want to send anything I create to Spotify, that is all good. (Did anyone else notice that extra hand in the video? Freaked me out!)

@@Kamala69-j6p Elevenlabs, Udio, and Suno all use their own code and models. This one doesn't (and isn't transparent about it). It's essentially the same product as Suno with an interface facelift, meaning there's nothing new here. There's a big difference, and you're simply wrong.

The API for Suno isn't official yet, but the unofficial ways are there to call SUNO. The next step for these tools would be to enhance that 128kbps digital low quality 'sound' to true lossless quality. For me this would be a game changer. As much as it breaks my soul (been producing music for 25 years).
@dorin7479 my guess is that they wouldn't do that. You would be using up your own credits so they are still making the same money and if you attract new customers to 'your' platform then you are saving them money on marketing.
I've been creating with SUNO for about 2 months and the videos generated are only lyrics. Did you generate these videos o my through the Loud me program? I've created gospel and jazz but also music for school. Some color and number songs but mostly character ed and behavior, etc Respects, Manners, etc. This would be great if I don't have to switch between A I programs to blend the music and videos. Such a time saver to be able to create the music and videos
The sound effect generator is hilarious! You can actually get it to speak by prompting it to say something like: An English man saying "Bob Doyle rocks and that's official!" Then sit back and enjoy the show! Thanks Mister Doyle and like the Englishman said: "Bob Doyle rocks and that's official!"
Thank you for the heads up on Loudme. For some reason I am having trouble generating an instrumental without lyrics. Selecting Instrumental in the advanced features drop down still produces and output with lyrics.

This is normal. The first part is about their web site, and using other peoples' songs that might appear on their explore/promo pages in future, not about your stuff. The second part is about you still owning copyright to your lyrics, but granting them rights to host your songs on their explore/promo page. They specifically limit it with the phrase "in connection with providing and promoting our Services." - so you won't expect them to try to steal your best ideas and release an album. However, "providing our services" may in future allow for other users remixing your stuff freely (like Midjourney), so you may want to keep an eye on that if you want to be more protective of the parts of the IP you do own - e.g. your own lyrics.
This is pretty much the same as everyone else. But again - if you use what these services create as creative inspiration instead of having it do all the work in creating "a hit" then these tools have tremendous value if NOTHING ever got better from here.

As a singer-songwiter myself, I'm a bit hesitant towards AI creating music, but this sounds impressive. I agree with you that it sounds intelligent. Great video as always Bob!
It took about 2 hours to render 2 songs. The tracks sounded a lot like a "Suno song" (Ai/ chorus-y lead vocal, and the rhyming structure they often use). However, it had prob 10%-15% better fidelity/ better dynamic range than Suno downloads. This is obv free, which is obv cool. If your time is precious this may not be the tool for you right now. But if you're prepared to wait - go for it.
UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know that the position of my contact person is that Loudme says they are NOT using the Suno API. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm going to refrain from commenting with certainty either way until I know. For now, we've got a nice free music generator that does not have all the features of Suno and Udio, but still produces great creative inspiration for those who are happy to use it in that way instead of trying to avoid any actual music production by expecting perfect commercial-ready output straight from the AI.
Suno don't have an API, that's why its not using it. It IS however, making songs that appear on the Suno website under various different user names. Perhaps your contact person can explain how the song with the url that ends /m/cm0aus1wq00ckop07a93yuxr0 on Loudme also exists on Suno with a url that ends /song/eeb64873-aa59-47f5-a812-158a586c5e02 ? or 052fc89b-48a8-4111-8aa6-01cef817cb6d on Suno is cm0b90yaw04xlop0600f6ezdt on Loudly.
The instrumental quality sounds good, but it seems to struggle a bit with the singing. It has this robotic sound to it, much like Suno. If they can solve that I think it would be a good alternative to Udio.
Yeah, very on par with Suno pre-v3 quality. It can't even generate instrumental songs without singing the description box. Don't need to stop the presses for that imo.

Not knowing whether or not it was a Suno API upon beginning to play with it, It certainly appears as something very important to watch and thus I stand by my “stop the presses“ headline., however, it is just the Suno API or something, and doesn’t bring anything else to the table at any point, then you may end up being right. But for now, I’ve tested a bunch of competitors, and this really got my attention. And if it is NOT the Suno API, then I definitely stand by my statement. Thanks so much for watching!

As much as I love new generators (I use them to make loops and samples) these first two sound scratchier than suno on high quality headphones. I’m wearing Sony wh-1000xm5’s now. Whichever platform can consistently generate hifi studio quality will be my go to. For now I like Suno which I can clean up a bit in audition but things are always changing.
If you get the prompt right in Suno for Dance EDM it gives some amazing results. It appears to me that lots of sample packs have been used in the training.
Do you know if your projects or prompts/lyrics are public or private? Like will other users be able to listen to my music/lyrics and use it for themselves>
Udio has the best vocal and instrumental quality at the moment. Additionally, their website offers the best tools and a high level of control for producing your own music. However, personally, I much prefer the melodies and musical structure of Suno. The compositions are much more captivating and creative. Despite its limitations, Suno has more feeling and emotion in its generated music. I've created songs with it that are phenomenal-the melodic level of SunoAI is truly impressive, no exaggeration.

I started using LoudMe and I do find that it work a bit better if I create my own lyrics or I am more precise with the prompt. I have not found out how to delete the song I do not want to keep. Any one have any suggestions. Thank you for your videos

Interesting… so it’s just the same thing under a different name? It’s really not even useful to me unless I can upload audio(in order to get vocal tracks that will slide seamlessly into my original audio arrangements), and use it commercially. But why does it seem to sound so much better?
Same issues with suno, the lyric pentameter, feels forced or needs a quick 2 line ryhm. Suno key changes are easy-to-use in the lyric portion start with [key E7] as an example before a start or intro. The brackets seem to work like nesting in program language [ modulate 3rd] can work before [bridge] promts or [chous]
You have a high pitched noise throughout the video. It might be too high for you to hear but it’s kinda distracting. Might want to try a low pass filter high enough that doesn’t ruin your voice if you can’t figure out where it’s from. Or run it through adobe’s free podcast AI enhancement. Also I think they’re using Suno on the back end.
I tried generating a couple of songs there. Though the songs are great songs, I can't seem to get better than a poor-quality sampled MP3 file. I can really hear the digital distortion.
I tried this with around 10 songs, and 1 song was copyrighted for around 3 minutes. I don't know if it's a coincidence ? but 3 minutes? . For now I still doubt it.

I noticed the same thing with the image generators- they all seem to have a 'look' common to all that marks out the images as AI.

I sometimes get results that - I kid you not - The lyrics sounds like subliminal although slightly scrambled messages even though I write my own lyrics.
The start of the song will be true to my own lyrics but then suddenly some strange lyrics are added in the end.

@@meagain9987 Yeah, it's free up to a point, then you have to pay a fee. The lowest monthly band is $10 a month (around £8 in UK GBP). I'm really considering paying though as the results I've had with the free credits have been amazing.

Big problem: Extend does NOT extend the song in question. It creates a similar version but does not attach it to (extend) the original song.... please fix. Another bug: it just took the description of the song and used it as lyrics even though instrumental was selected!!!! Quite weird.......

I took me tens of tries to get what I wanted. But hey, its free ! Eventually starting to get some tunes better than Suno or Udio. I particularly like that it seems to recognise the (main) languages, generating the correct pronunciation.

Thanks for the heads up. TBH - the turtle duet wasn't a duet, so sad about that, but I like the overall experience. The beginning and ending of the music is spot on - first time ever. The length is satisfactory too. Haven't tried extending yet, but that is where most of these programs have left me flat. I realise there must be a plan to monetize for the future in their T&C of commercial use, but as I am unlikely to want to send anything I create to Spotify, that is all good.

The API for Suno isn't official yet, but the unofficial ways are there to call SUNO. The next step for these tools would be to enhance that 128kbps digital low quality 'sound' to true lossless quality. For me this would be a game changer. As much as it breaks my soul (been producing music for 25 years).

@dorin7479 my guess is that they wouldn't do that. You would be using up your own credits so they are still making the same money and if you attract new customers to 'your' platform then you are saving them money on marketing.

I've been creating with SUNO for about 2 months and the videos generated are only lyrics. Did you generate these videos o my through the Loud me program?
I've created gospel and jazz but also music for school. Some color and number songs but mostly character ed and behavior, etc Respects, Manners, etc. This would be great if I don't have to switch between A I programs to blend the music and videos. Such a time saver to be able to create the music and videos

Thank you for the heads up on Loudme. For some reason I am having trouble generating an instrumental without lyrics. Selecting Instrumental in the advanced features drop down still produces and output with lyrics.

I think you need to re-read that since it doesn't at all means what you think it means.
This is normal.
The first part is about their web site, and using other peoples' songs that might appear on their explore/promo pages in future, not about your stuff.
The second part is about you still owning copyright to your lyrics, but granting them rights to host your songs on their explore/promo page. They specifically limit it with the phrase "in connection with providing and promoting our Services." - so you won't expect them to try to steal your best ideas and release an album. However, "providing our services" may in future allow for other users remixing your stuff freely (like Midjourney), so you may want to keep an eye on that if you want to be more protective of the parts of the IP you do own - e.g. your own lyrics.
This is pretty much the same as everyone else. But again - if you use what these services create as creative inspiration instead of having it do all the work in creating "a hit" then these tools have tremendous value if NOTHING ever got better from here.

As a singer-songwiter myself, I'm a bit hesitant towards AI creating music, but this sounds impressive. I agree with you that it sounds intelligent. Great video as always Bob!
This technology is great for song writers. It does much better with original lyrics.
It's an awesome tool, especially for old unfinished songs.
It took about 2 hours to render 2 songs. The tracks sounded a lot like a "Suno song" (Ai/ chorus-y lead vocal, and the rhyming structure they often use). However, it had prob 10%-15% better fidelity/ better dynamic range than Suno downloads. This is obv free, which is obv cool. If your time is precious this may not be the tool for you right now. But if you're prepared to wait - go for it.
UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know that the position of my contact person is that Loudme says they are NOT using the Suno API.
I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm going to refrain from commenting with certainty either way until I know.
For now, we've got a nice free music generator that does not have all the features of Suno and Udio, but still produces great creative inspiration for those who are happy to use it in that way instead of trying to avoid any actual music production by expecting perfect commercial-ready output straight from the AI.
Suno don't have an API, that's why its not using it. It IS however, making songs that appear on the Suno website under various different user names. Perhaps your contact person can explain how the song with the url that ends /m/cm0aus1wq00ckop07a93yuxr0 on Loudme also exists on Suno with a url that ends /song/eeb64873-aa59-47f5-a812-158a586c5e02 ?

The instrumental quality sounds good, but it seems to struggle a bit with the singing. It has this robotic sound to it, much like Suno. If they can solve that I think it would be a good alternative to Udio.

Yeah, very on par with Suno pre-v3 quality. It can't even generate instrumental songs without singing the description box. Don't need to stop the presses for that imo.

As much as I love new generators (I use them to make loops and samples) these first two sound scratchier than suno on high quality headphones. I’m wearing Sony wh-1000xm5’s now. Whichever platform can consistently generate hifi studio quality will be my go to. For now I like Suno which I can clean up a bit in audition but things are always changing.

If you get the prompt right in Suno for Dance EDM it gives some amazing results. It appears to me that lots of sample packs have been used in the training.

Udio has the best vocal and instrumental quality at the moment. Additionally, their website offers the best tools and a high level of control for producing your own music. However, personally, I much prefer the melodies and musical structure of Suno. The compositions are much more captivating and creative. Despite its limitations, Suno has more feeling and emotion in its generated music. I've created songs with it that are phenomenal-the melodic level of SunoAI is truly impressive, no exaggeration.

I started using LoudMe and I do find that it work a bit better if I create my own lyrics or I am more precise with the prompt. I have not found out how to delete the song I do not want to keep. Any one have any suggestions. Thank you for your videos

Interesting… so it’s just the same thing under a different name? It’s really not even useful to me unless I can upload audio(in order to get vocal tracks that will slide seamlessly into my original audio arrangements), and use it commercially.
But why does it seem to sound so much better?
Same issues with suno, the lyric pentameter, feels forced or needs a quick 2 line ryhm. Suno key changes are easy-to-use in the lyric portion start with [key E7] as an example before a start or intro. The brackets seem to work like nesting in program language [ modulate 3rd] can work before [bridge] promts or [chous]

You have a high pitched noise throughout the video. It might be too high for you to hear but it’s kinda distracting. Might want to try a low pass filter high enough that doesn’t ruin your voice if you can’t figure out where it’s from. Or run it through adobe’s free podcast AI enhancement. Also I think they’re using Suno on the back end.

Is there anything out there that can put lyrics to an existing uploaded melody?
I tried generating a couple of songs there. Though the songs are great songs, I can't seem to get better than a poor-quality sampled MP3 file. I can really hear the digital distortion.
I tried this with around 10 songs, and 1 song was copyrighted for around 3 minutes. I don't know if it's a coincidence
