I have been using this mouse for 10 months approx., Dealt with two issues so far. The first one is battery life, of course. Dropping refresh rate to 500-250 etc. and shutting down LED lights through the software (you can find its fan version in english on youtube) works and extends battery life up to 3-4 days depending on usage. Otherwise you need to use it wired or charge it everyday. The second one is self-clicks on the left mouse button. I disassembled it and cleaned the button. Problem solved, but it was annoying tho. Apart from that, this is a great mouse, I like heavy mouses not fond of too light mouses, so it is not an issue for me. Personally, I am playing games in wired mode and make other stuff wireless, since it is easy to switch between these modes. This is the best option I think.
I have one. Mine does not make noise when you shake it. Agreed that the wireless battery is poor. Less than a day. Polling rate drops from 1000 to 500 on wireless. I usually use it on cable. Not experienced the non wake up bug but I have not tried over a power off when it wirelessly connected as I generally don't use the wireless feature. Agree that in use, the mouse feels great to use The software would also make things easier if it was available with switchable language setting. Sad as the Gaming Laptop software that looks very similar is switchable to English. maybe an update will resolve that??
im a user of g305 for almost a year now. im not sure if i replaced the battaries or not i may changed it once and forget it or never changed it in one year of usage. it is a very good mouse in general buttons feel solid, sensor works just fine in most surfaces ect. i can definitly recommend one but there is one thing that you should know before you buy them. they are quite small even i as someone with bigger hands then avarage got used to holding the mouse over time but if you are not sure you probably try it in a store before buy it.
Good review, well done! Maybe have you checked the weight of the mouse without the battery? Or is it working actually without the battery like a wired mouse?
Hello. When I use WIRED mi gaming mouse in my laptop, it works just fine. But when I plug my PC micro USB cable into the mouse, it only charges. The mouse charges, but can't be used (the arrow doesn't move). What's wrong?
Great Video! I got it for $20 after deciding to try it out after watching this video. For some reason tho, whenever I play games on full screen, I experience weird mouse lag with sound beeps in windows, making my PC perform bad. Anyone else experience this?
Design were a mashup between retro and futuristic i Almost bought it, but after I discovered plenty of faulty units of it being perma dead after being turned off? I’m not taking the risk. Not to mentioned for modern wireless mouse, the battery life suck? For the same price, I’m now happy with Logitech M590 It has both bluetooth and receiver. Works fine on cs go for me.. I don’t buy the b.s of gaming thing either Original battery still running after 1 years (it’s crazy!!!)
I did get to use one for a bit, and only thing I seem not to really like is the lower design, making it a bit odd to hold compared to other mice from corsair or razer. But that's also a great thing, as its not designed over the top and can be passed off as a regular one.
Great review. I already have this mouse but was curious to see your review and opinions. I definitely agree that the very big disappointment also for me is the battery life. I need to charge it after every 2 days with disabled light effects, that is very disappointing for the price. Also I experienced same problem when turned off my laptop - I had to turn off the mouse and reconnect it. It is quite great mouse but I was familiar to have wireless mouse working for month+ and this one last super short sadly. My score would be like 6,5/10 because of those 2 problems. Otherwise I would rate 8/10.
I just bought this mouse (i bought it online and not received yet) because its has 3 additional button on the left side and because of Xiaomi brand and of course it's affordable price.. i am super excited then i search for this mouse here.. after i watched this video i kinda regret XD.. the battery life issue but hey it still got wired connection.. so i think i'm good
Would I be able to drive this mouse with my apple keyboard usb? Microsoft intellimose works, some generic mouse works, but razer deathadder, microsoft pro intellimouse dont work ( gets system message saying something like not enough power)
@@LifeKommando thx for reply! Could you possibly check the consuming power rate of this mouse when wired? My microsoft pro intellimouse is rated 5v 200ma and apple keyboard refuses to power it. My old microsoft intellimouse is rated 5v 100ma and works just fine off apple keyboard. Maybe thats the case, maybe the keyboard hub only supports 5v 100ma.
I have this darn mouse. It started to live its own life - opening/closing folders, tabs by itself... I deleted all drivers and Mi app, it helped for a while. Now the problem has returned. Who knows how to reboot this mouse? thx!
I wish I looked at this video before purchasing this mouse. Yeah the battery life is very annoying. Don't buy it if you're not ready to charge your mouse every 1-2 days. Otherwise it's a good gaming mouse.
Thanks man for your review! This video makes me realize that I shouldn't buy this product. Because I really didn't like about that battery (it looks like they using cheap charging battery). 😅 Ok, logitech! For sure you still the best for me! 🍷🙂
you can take it apart and try to fix the click button bump (some videos on youtube can help) or buy a replacement part and solder it / replace the old one.
@@LifeKommando okay, I tried cleaning the switch and its kind of working right now. I'll try your solution when it starts again. Thanks for your reply :)
How would you compare it to Deathadder in terms of ergonomics? Also, please timestamp your reviews and/or divide the videos into sections like performance, ergonomy, etc. It's really hard to follow.
I think Deathadder would probably be better since it has more curve, I have used it and was planning on buying one at one point. Thanks for the feedback, yeah this one was a bit all over the place, will try to make sure I add time stamps and structure the videos better
here to tell you that this mouse is fucking heavy. i would return it if i could but our country's shops dont normally allow that. if you're used to lightweight mouses, this one isnt for you. back to g304/g305 for me
Very few good reviews in english for xiaomi products.
Thanks for this.

Early cheap wireless mouse tech wasnt great back then now there are so many lesser known brands releasing good wireless mice in comparison

And it work well in non transparent glass, even better than the Microsoft Bluetracking ones.

Perhaps reducing response time to 500hz would extend the battery life?

Can you disable the aim button ?

how to turn off the stand by mode for the lightning effect ??

I love red dragon products didnt know they had it, I ordered it, expect a review in the near future :)

Does it works on windows or macOS?
yes it's work on mac os, but you need install the app to configure the button and led RGB
I have this mouse, I like but it wont charge, any idea why?
@What I bought from Ali, maybe a defect, it was from the beginning. Beside that I love this mouse, very quality

you can take it apart and try to fix the click button bump (some videos on youtube can help) or buy a replacement part and solder it / replace the old one.
