Im staying put where I’m at right now. I’m not putting my house at risk to go O/O, especially when I refinanced when the interest rates bottomed out.
I park at hone with a few that pull containers as well, and have told me it’s bad there as well.

I have been thinking that... We are really busy and have orders and quotes out of nowhere, but this stuff, the supply, lags. I dont see people BUYING much at this time, they are waiting on many purchases and that is going to catch up with the supply.

Paperboy is buying his truck and had to go through a third party. Oakley doesn't lease trucks as far as I know. You have to bring your own

my thought is if you aren't supporting a family its a good time as if you make it then you will be set when the rates pick back up and you can be done paying for your truck. will it be tough yes but starting any business is hard the 1st 3 years as you learn how to run company to make money. IMO

It's just common sense say freight is paying 1.50 a mile but gas is 4.00 dollars a gallon you wouldn't be making nothing you would be in the hole I would rather have my own truck but you can make the money being a company driver as well just have to push the miles and stay out of the truck stop

I have that option. There is a flatbed company not far from me that pays that. My son works for them. I choose to stay at Maverick.
