      The Earth is verifiably not a spherical ball nearly 25,000 miles in circumference. Weather Balloon footage taken with straight lens cameras from 110,000+ feet shows nothing but Flat Line Horizon. Spherical trigonometry dictates significant curvature from half that altitude IF the Earth were in fact a ball with the aforementioned circumference.

    • @callanc3925
      @callanc3925 4 роки тому +11

      Its not about intelligent people doubting their potential. Its about intelligent people realising they dont know it all, they still have confidence in the things they do know but the more they know about a topic the more they realise they have to learn. Whereas someone who knows nothing about a topic doesnt realise the true depth of it and thinks they know about all there is to know

    • @nathaan66
      @nathaan66 4 роки тому +3

      Well it’s probably because stupid people think they have it all figured out and intelligent people are always trying to figure something out. One thing about intelligent people is their mind never rests. Intelligent people are more likely to have depression because their thoughts are always rushing through their minds and not a lot of them aren’t pleasant some ever scary. It can get to a point we’re one fears his own mind. The mind is very powerful. It almost has no limits to its depth. A deep person considers the things average people don’t consider, like chaos and uncertainty it’s like paranoia.

      That is how you truly become smart is by being open to learning. Even if someone is dumb when it comes to certain things they may know a lot about something else. Everyone has different experiences and people will have different experiences that you haven't had. That is why free speech is so important but you also have to listen to everyone too because even if you don't agree with someone they may have a reason they came to that conclusion that could change your own thinking.

There will always be someone that's going to be better in some style or intellect than you and it's easy to drive yourself crazy with the idea of position and power. Live your life the way you want and enjoy what you have, gain intelligence for yourself and your work or interests, and be happy you have people that can help you grow.

    Emotional intelligence is also a great thing to have.. the guy with the nice car put his sweat, blood and tears to get it, if he brags about it then cheer him on, he earned it... i don’t know how but the general goal ends up being money from everyone’s perspective.. in reality, goals are far more unique on an individualistic level.. some people wanna go travel, some wanna stay and built, some start a family, some stay in school.. I’d say the one true form of intelligence is the act of raising it. Books, articles, mentoring, school, research etc...

      “Adam is told that he can eat freely of all the trees in the garden, except for a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Subsequently, Eve is created from one of Adam's ribs to be Adam's companion. They are innocent and unembarrassed about their nakedness. However, a serpent deceives Eve into eating fruit from the forbidden tree, and she gives some of the fruit to Adam. These acts give them additional knowledge, but it gives them the ability to conjure negative and destructive concepts such as shame and evil. God later curses the serpent and the ground. God prophetically tells the woman and the man what will be the consequences of their sin of disobeying God. Then he banishes them from the Garden of Eden."

    I always believed common sense and decency was something most people had but the older I get I realize it really isn't. I think common sense is a form of intelligence and I had a discussion with my aunt and she told me that not everyone has the experience you have and your perception which put it into perspective. But my belief that I had higher common sense than others used to make me judge and become annoyed of others. This isn't necessarily wrong but, you can't live life that way I realized...

    I have this type of intelligence. I graduated highschool with a 1.6 GPA and dropped out of college because I never focused on school.
    I’m now a real estate agent for one of the best teams in Indiana with multiple big goals but the closest one is to own 5 investment rental properties by the age of 25.
    But for a few years I worked in a grocery store in a college town around a bunch of other college kids who have no idea what they’re doing with life, some dumb, some smart and some just drifting through life. I feel/felt so out of place for the longest time.
    I STILL have minimal friends and they STILL don’t know my goals or net worth. I purposely avoid discussing my life goals with the people around me because they’re just not the right people. But I still focus on my self and my goals quietly not telling anyone what’s happening or how close I am.

    I like to make distinction between Intelligent people and smart people...
    Intelligent people are those who by definition of the word "intelligent", have high cognitive ability and do great in their academics and go to top colleges and get the highest paying jobs.
    And smart people are people who can see through the bullshit and they are the entrepreneurs and people who might not do amazing in their school life but are smart and maybe spiritually aware... You get the type.

      Street smarts vs book smarts. You could go to philosophy class for the next ten years and still not have a true understanding of the “big picture”. Someone who has gone through actual hardships understand themselves and the world around them better than anything else and are generally more sensible. That’s the problem now is that too many people never had to deal with any sort of hardships physical or emotional and it makes them read things to try and understand but they never truly learn.
