Not a music guy or anything just picked this up with in preparation with GoXLR support going away. I work customer service and I game and having the dual USB c in the back really makes it easy working on both computers without having to kvm back and forth. Probably a unique situation but wanted to point that out. Also if you aren't needing more than 2 mic inputs you save money going this route versus the pro. I'd like to see in the future a rodecaster mini in the future. I know they have the streamer one with the pads but I'd like to see that with the screen and faders. Think GoXLR mini but rode.
ALL the audio (mics) from the rodecaster Duo was "mastered" until the upload to the UA-cam? Its loud and clear. Sorry for my poor english (cheers from Brazil)
Is this still good to use for entertainment as well when after finish work? The speakers that are connected to this will be able to play good music or movies equal to any other audio interface? Or is it better to get something different for entertainment 😅
Greetings. Congratulations on the video and thank you very much from Andorra. Two weeks ago I bought the ROdecaster DUO. I have a question: How can I record a phone call with my iPhone? Thank you
I seen a video that talked about a wireless "on air" light that automatically came on when you pot up the mic on the Rodecaster but I can't find that video now. Do you know where I can buy that wireless on air light that works with the Rodecater?
I'm trying to figure this out as well. I have the Go 2 and trying to see if I can use those for Mic 1 and Mic 2 and still have the 2 Analog inputs on the desk...I understand that this is a "Duo" but it most definitely would have been way more usable with 2 XLR and 1 Stereo Analog input along with Stereo USB 1, USB 2 for a total of 8 inputs. I wonder if I can use my current Analog mixer (Allen and Heath ZED 10FX) that has Stereo USB out to go into this as a sub-mixer...
Been having issues connecting my iPhone with a usb c to lighting to get the audio on my phone for videos. Sometimes it connects and works and other times it doesn’t and will pick up through iPhone audio. Any help or suggestions for settings on iPhone or duo ?
Hello. Can you recommend an audio interface for live broadcast and dubbing? If possible, you can also give microphone advice. My total budget for the audio interface and microphone is $1,000. I don't want to spend more than I need. I'm very undecided and I can't decide whether I should buy a Rodecaster Duo style product or whether the ID14 will do the job as well. I would be happy if you help
Thanks for your content. That is really great. The Rodecaster Duo has 4 faders but 6 chanels. In my show I would like to play music in between. I have "three states". music off, silent music and loud music. Is it possible to control chanel 5 or 6 that is not mapped to a physical fader by the midi pads? So I would like to have three pads to set the music chanel to 0%, 30%, 60% for example. It would also be great to control, how fast the volume changes (immediatly or fading with a slower or faster speed from one volume setting to the other. With using the pads instead of a physical fader I will be able to always set the volume to the same volume levels with the same fading speed. That would be a great feature 🙏 Is that possible now or would it be an option for a later software update?
I have an issue related to the smart pad on the Rodecaster pro 2, I have added a poem on that pad that I will need to run from time to time on my podcast shows, however after I recorded that into my adobe Audition on my desktop, and then play it back the sound was bouncing up an down as if there is an effect running in the background (e.g. Noise gate) although it's not the case, why is that happening, does it have to do with the signal/sound rate on both the RCP and Audition or what?
I recently got a rodecaster duo and noticed that in the video they had 8 sets of pads to work with but I only have 5?, is this due to a firmware update or something?, I had mine come with 1.2 something and updated it so it's now 1.3.4 but I was kinda bummed out that I couldnt use the extra 18 additional slots I would get if i had 8 like them as the pads were really cool to mess with, especially since you can import your own downloaded sounds. Edit: For those who may get the same problem I was able to access all 8 sets of pads by going into rode central and then adding activating the last pad of the 5th screen which automatically let me get to the 6th screen, something I couldn't do on my device for some reason. Using this method twice more I was then able to access all 8 sets available.
You could certainly put full songs and map them to the pads to start or stop them all while playing an instrument and mixing it in real time. (I own one and play guitar)
@@ianarsenault thanks, Ian, just one more doubt: I put a song on every bag and responds very well to the play, but when I price the lunch to stop it, music doesn't stop it.
Why not just say, "Here is a Rodecaster Advert"? It would be much more honest. I have a Rodecaster and they're awesome, but this didn't share any new insights if you've actually used it once or twice. I was hoping for some hidden/less obvious features.

This was GREAT!!! Thank you sooooo much just purchased the Rodecaster Duo and can't wait to set it up and start my podcast or live stream!
Both of these guys are immensly compelling and this is excellent content
I was thinking about getting a rodecaster duo but I realized I don't need two microphones and went with a GoXLR switching from a Bridge Cast X
Two podcasts I do (The Hype Attack and You Haven’t Seen That?) use the Rodecasters (Pro and Duo respectively) and they are a DREAM.
How are you guys not getting any mic bleed from sitting so close and next to each other?
How to move effects from one layer to another. Let's say I want Pitch from Page 3 to Page 1

Do you have any video. Where shows. How to connect my a50 head set. To the rodecaster
is there more than 3 band EQ?
Hi there...Thanks again for you content. Can you please tell me how to simply record? I dont get it. Thanks
Will I need my JBL Nano patch to run my monitors through if i get this?
how exactly do I hear myself..? Is there no active monitoring or so with this interface?

17:30 that was confusing
Any real examples of using this feature ?

Not to my knowledge.

Do these tips also work for the RCP2 as well???
Yes. Same unit just has more pads and ports vs the duo.
how to get the basic sound affects for the duo? where to download them?

Hello!, can I have my songs recorded in memory, connect the guitar and a microphone to shoot all 3 things at once live?
You could certainly put full songs and map them to the pads to start or stop them all while playing an instrument and mixing it in real time. (I own one and play guitar)

Hi l like you videos 😂😂❤
I accidentally turned on trash talk has anyone figured out how to get the sound back?
They fail to tell that you get none in sound effects and ha e to figure out how to download
do you know where to download?

Its so expensive but considering the price of its bigger brother this is a really good price for people looking for a good mixer
Best piece of tech I have bought in a few year. Great if you want to add that professionalism to your podcast.
@@hamadminmgrI concur
Yeah this looks like a paid ad

For me it was very useful,as a new pro II user
