I just wanted to let you know, that if you are having problems with your under layer being reactivated when using gouache, then its likely bc you are adding a thin layer on top of a thick layer. So I recommend just making your layers get thicker near the end of the painting if you are going for a clean look- I know you are still experimenting, so you may or may not know this, but I look forward to seeing your video showing if they change in the sunlight!
It was cute how you rearranged the colors in a way that made more sense for you, but then swatched them in a completely random way. That will drive some people crazy
@@Zaccura It's pretty funny to me too. Seem to be a lot of OCD people online from comments I've read. People complaining about a crooked picture frame, or a wrinkle in someones shirt, or a stray hair.
Gouache is my new favorite medium to illustrate in. I haven't tried this brand yet. I will though. I often use the Winsor/Newton brand(cause I like to pretend I'm rich n fancy when that's far from reality...lol).
I think the only difference is the packaging (cups rather than tubes). But not gonna lie, the packaging definitely does add to the satisfaction of everything😂💖

I don’t have an ounce of artistic ability in my body but man I just want to create something so bad. This was my favorite video on this set so far!! I use Gouache like 4-5 Months . Its really good to draw with ! I like the colors, they are very bright. Love the painting of yours ! Tipp : Often is the colour you want a little lighter then it’s dry so it’s really hard . ✨👌 ( I use the brand : Arrtx)
I like this set because it seems to have colors closer to skin colors pre mixed, and it has a WHITE mixing pallette, brushes, and the lid seals better. It only has one white not like the set of 18, but easy enough to buy a tube of white when you need one. If I get one it'll probably be this set, or maybe real qouache in tubes

I saw that you use Posca pens, and when I was on Amazon I saw somthing that seemed like Posca Pen rips offs but people seem to like them. They were called Graffiti markers and you should totally try them out
Can you pls do a tutorial how to portrait using gouache ?....it will be a big help for me as beginners...plsplspls do it... and do some tips how to use gouche properly....and btw im a new supporter and i like you vids a lot it helps me to like painting more....thank you!

I have also bought myslef a set of this gouache (however it was smaller) and I too can one hundred percent confirm.... That I have never heard of catear flowers..... Loved the video though....

Have you tried camel premium poster colours ( they are similar to gouache), they are quite inexpensive and good quality.

All I need now is for them to offer refills, because I used up all of my yellow and most of my white.
Tip~If the gouache dries you can spray water to reactivate them and they will be back into jelly consistancy!

Also the big set only comes with 1 white instead of 2 like the smaller set. Which sucks because you need a lot of white to lighten the colors.
