I don't believe anyone knows this, but I've known this for a while now. If you set your difficulty to peaceful, most illagers such as vindicators and evokers will still spawn, but they will be 100% passive toward you. Even if you attack them
I wish we could be on the pilliger’s side and maybe have hitlists to get good loot like maybe a hitman mini game or something. With the edition of warrior villigers and more iron golems to protect the villagers. That would be awesome
That would be cool, but mojang might have thought it to encourage violence as the player would literally be choosing the path of a murderer. Sure this already happens all the time, but this would be rewarding those people. They probably didn't consider that you're also violently killing illagers

I was building my own castle on an artificial piece of dry land in the middle of a lake. And then when I finished some work beneath the water and surfaced again, I found my castle was raided by these guys. As a new player, this was the first time I saw them. I didn't even know Minecraft had organized group of enemies like this. I killed them and I got the curse. Still better surprise than creepers. Those usually blow up on me before I even see them, and they take a lot of my work with me.
16:20 is a reference to the original Age of Empires game, the "wololo" sound the evoker makes is the same sound monks make in age of empires when they convert enemy units to your team, for example from blue to red. Clearly one of the minecraft devs is a fan of the series haha
I love the illagers They add so much life to the minecraft world I hope they get much stronger in future updates and I would love if there was illagers who can destroy blocks or illagers that disguise as villagers and steal your items
There should be a friendly version of the Pillager for the Villages. Like a standard Villager that you can train to fight with a variety of weapons and is tougher than normal Pillagers. Golems can remain as tanky protectors but should probably have their knockback turned down so they aren't hampered by projectiles as much. A medical villager would be great too, to replenish your health or the health of a Defender Villager after a battle. Maybe some Pillagers that are also more neutral to the player could be added. They don't really care about you and might even trade some items with you, offering a different selection than villagers do. Although i guess that could cause confusion unless these were clearly marked with different colors.
would be a bit more epic if pillagers attack your house because you have their ominous banner.but like only if you hung it on a certain block type to initiate it. when i first got the banner and had the raid icon i thought thats what was gonna happen.kept peeking outside,was paronoid.lol ended up burying a chest and put the banner in it.

Vindicators come in seconds place, they are utilized as backup units in raids and guards inside the woodland mansions Witches, although arent completely a part of the illager society, do have some understanding of magic and serve in raids as medics Evokers are at a higher rank and are highly valued in illager society and are trusted with magical abilites Then illusioners come at the highest ranking, I believe illusioners are the ones exiled for the dark magic and are superior to evokers, evokers are limited to manipulating what is around them but illusioners can even destroy your vision. They have no need for a totem of undying because they are so good at keeping themselves hidden from prying eyes. They were also previously intended to be the raid captain of the final wave until they were never added to 1.14.
in the next minecraft update i hope villagers gain the ability to defend themselves. Not every village has an iron golem and they are expensive to make.
i think drinking milk get rid of bad omen? that be hard to have in beginning of game if you play hardcore or even ultra hardcore. maybe in 1.15.2 maybe more villages than usuall?

i am in java and went into a village with the bad omen effect. had all iron armor. got surprise attacked by a vindacator. died 2 times but eventually got them. there are witches ad vindicators and pillagers. it isn't a nice sight. it is really fun though and i am glad i have as much iron as i have. no diamond though and no enchantments. welp. thanks for the info.
Illagers really epic would like the illager font mean that illagers will be updated and have more illagers and improve pillager ai aswell as being able to help the illagers and trade with them and get much better trades than villagers and have it so you can get illager ar or which will be the new best armour and you can get a pillagers crossbow and vindicators axe which are different from the normal versions and the pillagers crossbow will be the best ranged weapon and vindicators axe will be the best melee weapon

i went to gamepeida i think they can also spawn randomly too 3-5 in group and leader and you have chance to get bad omen sucks in beginning of game but drink milk i think to get rid of bad omen if needed?

Howdy. So I am playing in Hardcore and taking on the pillagers. I have a simple raid/xp farm where there pillagers fall down 23 blocks I kill them and collect emeralds, xp , banners, saddles and totems. My question is more technical. How do you best kill the evoker with out him summoning the vex. Also are the Vex summoned because the evoker is taking damage. I thought the vexes were summoned if the evoker saw the player. Being in Hardcore. I would like to know the exact answer to avoid dying.
I have been doing lots of raids with different tools. I believe it is when you hit a evoked with a lesser sword or say axe he begins to take damage, then the vex are released. While the damage is happening the vexes are being released. So I think the best approach is to have a one hit kill sword. Max out those enchants. Sharp 5 mending unbreaking3, flame, and any others that you think may do damage. Just remember if you want a bad omen effect you best not have flame or is that fire aspect. I always get those 2 mixed up
I just came back to minecraft after a long absense. Is pillager patrols just something you have to deal with now, spawning in my base regardless of light level? How do I stop them from spawning on the grass in my base without having to carpet it all over?

You can get a spawn egg for illusioners from the mod “Guard Villagers”. That mod basically adds village guards that attack mobs who threaten the village, including illagers and players. It also adds spawn eggs for iron golems and illusioners. The mod can be found on curse forge.
I am playing on xbox one and want to make the tower a base or build off it in my survival world. Is there anyway to stop them from spawning? I tried lighting it up and taking away the banners and killing them all multiple times.
They respawn every 15-30 minutes I think. Try to anticipate where they spawn and put some sort of trap. Magma block, wither rose, or simply, try to copy the tower.
Pillagers seem to spawn is such random places. I was grinding my skeleton spawner, super deep into a complex cave and mine shaft system, to notice a bunch of pillagers running down the stairs to my killing room... now I have Bad Omen lol
He just called that pillager shooting at him "Weak" for only dealing 1 heart of dmg. But it was funny to see how we just saw his crossbow break then went "Yeah no I'm done"
illagers are different types of pillagers; evoker, illusionists, armed pillagers. Its like how villagers have different types of villagers; librarians, farmers, etc.
@@midnightclouds5400 I don't think that's correct, it's probably the other way around considering illagers exist before pillagers. pillager IS an illager. Pillager are just illager armed with crossbow. Same thing with vindicators, vex, and evoker.
This is almost annoying, I've been attacked by those Pillagers twice. May I ask, If you killed a pack or a squad of Pillagers, Are they able to track down your location? Are they able to track down the same route they used for the previous Squads? (( My grammar is terrible, Sorry. )
They cannot track down down your location or do something else like that, the Pillagers Patrol spawn around you(like Reverse the polarity of the Neutron flow says) sometimes. They just pass by and if they saw you they'll attack you
idk if this helps but i keep getting patrols in my world that stalk me and idk if that's bc they are mad that I defeated a raid in the village 2 times.
I was hit by some of this gray ones with the flag, now im going around with some kind of poison on me (some green/blue Bubbles) When i walk/run i cant see the bubbles. But when i stand totally still, they will come again. What do i do? Do i have to eat or ?
Drink a bucket of milk and DO NOT go into a village or you will set off a raid. What you have is the Bad Omen effect, for killing the patrol leader. Milk is your friend
I spent about 2 irl days destroying an entire pillager outpost and built my own house where it used to be. Every time i exit that house in the morning the pillagers have respawned outside. Is there a way to make them stop spawning?
No, the pillager outpost locations are set as their spawnpoints, that's why people build raid farms there. They will continue to spawn around there even if the outpost doesn't exist anymore. Bad place to build a house

i just went threw a pillager raid and got an evoker trapped underground and still he killed me with vex and that jaw power and he did not even see me

illager is the name of the family/group that contains pillagers, evokers, and vindicators. Those three look the same (also included the illusioner)

Maybe the blue sheep reminds evokers of the illusioner
I am playing on xbox one and want to make the tower a base or build off it in my survival world. Is there anyway to stop them from spawning? I tried lighting it up and taking away the banners and killing them all multiple times.
They respawn every 15-30 minutes I think. Try to anticipate where they spawn and put some sort of trap. Magma block, wither rose, or simply, try to copy the tower.
Pillagers seem to spawn is such random places. I was grinding my skeleton spawner, super deep into a complex cave and mine shaft system, to notice a bunch of pillagers running down the stairs to my killing room... now I have Bad Omen lol

He just called that pillager shooting at him "Weak" for only dealing 1 heart of dmg. But it was funny to see how we just saw his crossbow break then went "Yeah no I'm done"

a pillager is a type of illager
illagers are different types of pillagers; evoker, illusionists, armed pillagers. Its like how villagers have different types of villagers; librarians, farmers, etc.
@@midnightclouds5400 I don't think that's correct, it's probably the other way around considering illagers exist before pillagers. pillager IS an illager. Pillager are just illager armed with crossbow. Same thing with vindicators, vex, and evoker.

This is almost annoying, I've been attacked by those Pillagers twice. May I ask, If you killed a pack or a squad of Pillagers, Are they able to track down your location? Are they able to track down the same route they used for the previous Squads?

Im pretty sure that patrols spawn after around the player every few days simmilar to how the wandering trader spawns
They cannot track down down your location or do something else like that, the Pillagers Patrol spawn around you(like Reverse the polarity of the Neutron flow says) sometimes. They just pass by and if they saw you they'll attack you
I recommend protecting the village your in with fences all around
idk if this helps but i keep getting patrols in my world that stalk me and idk if that's bc they are mad that I defeated a raid in the village 2 times.

They spawned in my small tree farm, I was so confused about what these guys were. And then they spawned again in the day time and ran passed my house.
I was hit by some of this gray ones with the flag, now im going around with some kind of poison on me (some green/blue Bubbles)
When i walk/run i cant see the bubbles. But when i stand totally still, they will come again. What do i do? Do i have to eat or ?
Drink a bucket of milk and DO NOT go into a village or you will set off a raid. What you have is the Bad Omen effect, for killing the patrol leader. Milk is your friend

I spent about 2 irl days destroying an entire pillager outpost and built my own house where it used to be. Every time i exit that house in the morning the pillagers have respawned outside. Is there a way to make them stop spawning?

No, the pillager outpost locations are set as their spawnpoints, that's why people build raid farms there. They will continue to spawn around there even if the outpost doesn't exist anymore. Bad place to build a house
I feel you, I went back into minecraft clueless and made my base not too far which slowly made me elvolve in some kind of bunker survival shooting them up from my place haha

Yes, Axe is the only thing that can counter shield. It's not just vindicators that can do that.
