Thank you. A simple demonstration and explanation of how: A bowl, A hole, and a vacuum, will move tons of machinery with a tiny stream of gasoline. Nice re-use of a plastic container too!
@@theoldmecanicoshow9004 yes it is. The fuel pump was turned on with the engine off and then the regulator started hissing after the pressure got to it as if there was a vacuum leak, I was just curious as to if that's normal or if I should have it changed.
@@theoldmecanicoshow9004 well Tbh it doesn't what has been happening is I've had to change half a dozen fuel pumps so far I just changed another one today along with the filter but what is strange today is the fuel trim is unusually high for this new pump going into the tank compared to the rest for the rest short term was at 0 but now it's at 10 and long term is 25 which is strange normally the short term would be 0 and then the long term would follow and after a week or two weeks of driving the pump would start to loose pressure it's been stressing me out because I've been trying to find why that's been happening
@@theoldmecanicoshow9004 for on ethe one thing I know recently the return line started leaking so I have to get tha fixed but other than that I haven't noticed any restrictions I recently purchased the the fuel pump harness today because I was wondering if that can cause it
Thank you very much sir. Please continue to teach me. And everyone else

WOW...Thank you for that Awesome information and the view.
Hi man is it normal for the (fuel pressure regulator) to hiss if pressure is fed from the fuel pump?
A restricted fuel filter would make the fuel pump "Hum" louder than normal. Is your regulator under the hood?

@@mrbond191 If it runs well...leave it alone, unless the regulator is Too noisy.
