- This is the new BMW M550i xDrive, it features a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 from this cars bigger brother the BMW M5. It produces 532hp and the 0-62mph sprint is completed in just 4 seconds. But there is so much more to the M550i than just outright pace, it should also be incredibly comfortable.

Well done in the short time you've been given to test drive this car. Perfect Q car . better than a M5 as a daily driver . This car is subtle and understated yet elegant, it will definitely appeal to a classier audience .

Test drove this car twice. May get one. Especially great on Adaptive Mode.
I have a 2017 540i msport love the car and it is plenty quick but you can never have too much power. Thinking an M5 might be next, the 540 needs more exhaust sounds

Ah..WOW...the 5 series...it Looks...it..looks like a 5 series...and it looks.....like you struggling to think a way to say old fashioned, dated and boring...and that a 520D looks identical. Presenter...don’t give up your day job..watch Henry Catchpole on Carfection...it is not an easy job to do well.🤔🙂

The M550i has other wheels, other mirrors, other grills, other brakes, other exhaust, and other suspension than the standard 5 series.
Better do your research before trolling around and embarrass yourself. Your unobjective hostility against this channel and BMW is just a sign of great stupidity...
But I guess you are probably 14 years old, so your opinion doesn't matter at all.

@@snowcountry322 If you like it then it is fine but BMW have not changed the basic shape for over twenty years! Yes it drives well and as I have owned a whole list of new BMW’s starting in 1985...in fact 9 of them so I do not hate BMW but do hate the Company they have become and the image they now cultivate. Yes this road test car would be a delight to drive but it looks so dated and yet arrogant in a way that means I will never buy one again.🙂
