Joshua has never covered himself in glory, from being exposed as a racist, to that despicable bout of verbal diarrhoea on the mic after Uysk thrashed him a second time. Joshua doesn't have any class, he is a bit thick, he is a racist, but it gets quietly passed over because he makes a good highlight reel KO when he's fighting someone enough levels below him.
It seems like when Ruiz blew him out in the first fight and made him look timid in the second, people stopped protecting the golden KO goose and started being honest about Joshua's flaws and shortcomings. Joshua just doesn't have the intelligence or class to rise above it so keeps getting drawn into these petty arguments. He should just focus on the fights ahead and not losing his bottle again, but sadly, he probably won't.

I think AJ's team have been doing some mental work with him to build up his confidence and taking on a 'me versus the world' attitude, which to be fair makes sense and that's why we are now seeing this 'new' AJ.
