Custom Made Ecto Goggles built by Halliwax Basement Builds (kit by Epic Props UK)

I finally got my Ghostbusters Ecto Goggles!! After trying to find ones I'd be happy with, I came across a UK maker who offer a pretty solid and complete kit. The kit can be found here: www.epicprops..... I had a few interactions with them and they seem like good, helpful people.
I painted the goggles using: www.lowes.com/...
Decals were from: www.ebay.com/i...
Thumb screws can be found at: www.ebay.com/i.... I ordered M4*26, (head 6*10mm) in nickle.

I also grabbed a few miscellaneous black screws and washers from Lowes.

Wow! These look awesome! I'm about to start a re-vamp on my Nick-a-tron goggles but am having difficulty sourcing the straps, anyone have any idea where to look in the UK? Tried eBay but nothing really suitable there, thanks!

So, I have been on a hunt to upgrade to new goggles and I found a run of goggles on the RPF and they use just black straps. When I rewatched the movie, sure enough, you can see when Ray encounters Slimer they're just black, I think elastic, straps fitted with snaps.

Great build! After using it for a while now, how heavy are they to wear around?

They were a pretty heavy build because the resin was so thick. I ended up selling them a while back, however, because I was able to get some highly accurate parts off of GBFans.

question what snaps were used for the straps?

Just the ones that came with the kit. I grabbed the kit from Epic Props that had most of the screws, snaps, and other greeblies.

@@thefwaynes sorry, I don't but they seemed pretty much typically sized, off-the-shelf snaps. The stocks receiving ends on the straps fit just fine, so I tend to think it was kind of a universal size.
