  • This is my newly completed Proton Pack assembled by Halliwax Basement Builds. This was built from a Tom Morris/Positron Props Hero Shell and Throwing Chicken Neutrona Wand kit with parts from GBFans.com and etsy seller GBHQPartsDepot, as well as various parts from Amazon and eBay.
This is my absolute dream Proton Pack build! I hope you love it as much as I do! Be sure to comment, like, and subscribe if you do!

Link to where you got the ribbon cable, please? I could not make out what you said exactly, but I know you said they were on Etsy.

The sell goes by wirefauna. Here's a link to his shop, however he doesn't have anything in it right now. www.etsy.com/shop/wirefauna
He does small runs from time to time. I'd also suggest you look at TGB Cablery on Etsy. His cables are fantastic and he consistently has ribbon cables in-stock. www.etsy.com/shop/TGBCablery

Is this the superhero he did?

Nope, this is a different one. The superhero is his personal pack.

The finished packs do look similar but mine is a completely different shell and it is not meant to replicate any one specific screen-used pack, but rather it is in the style of it. However, Halliwax put in a lot of the same features, such as the pop mech and flash bulb tip.

@@ebobhazard well considering I’m only 14 I have nothing yet but I’m planning to use mainly a Ben of Kent kit (gb1) and a moderately modified spenglers thrower. I’ll also use real clipards, resisters, etc. and mainly aluminum parts. And yes I know it’ll crush my back but I really like that heavy feel. And I’ll also rig up an audio jack running from the thrower to a Jbl speaker mounted on an Alice frame. But for now, I’ll use a spirit life size pack with a spenglers thrower.
