I wish modern rap used the record scratch a lot more it always sounds so cool
they can't 🤣
Check out snak the ripper
We forgot about the importance of DJs and it shows
Em was writing diss songs to all the plaigirists who would be biting his style twenty years later. He never ceases to amaze.
Future disses Em's next level lmao
@@brambo09 "There's no way I won't be the GOAT. I better start pressing rounds right now."
- 13 year old Marshall in his pink ALF shirt
Word
@@brambo09 that nigga can’t even say a word!! Tf
No lmao he was just saying what his favorite rappers were saying
“Biterphobia - Fear of Biters (People who copy other people's styles, words, etc.)..”. -- once again EM outs himself as a time traveller. Somehow this man managed to predict almost everything he has / is experiencing before actually experiencing it.. it’s to the point of almost unsettling how spot on he has been throughout the years. MM - the multi dimensional, time travelling, serial killer, living out the 21st century as a Rap god. A future generation is going to find out the truth..
Yeah that was dope. Shows they actually give a sht about what they're listening to, to understand the reason for the request🤙🏽
If you guys want some lyrically bombastic newer Em, check out:
"Alfred's Theme"
HELL YEAH, this shit gonna blow your mind!!!!
They will catch a tenth of it but it'll be fun I guess
Bar heavy Eminem songs that you’ll love … Groundhog Day and Alfred’s theme… football bar for Brock in Groundhog Day! Keep it up boys!! Love the vids
Alfred's Theme is insane!!!
@@matheusgoebel8577 damn right bud!!
@@matheusgoebel8577 the bowling scheme blows my mind every time man
asap
Groundhog Day is bar heavy but it’s a BAD song.
More Eminem, this isn’t enough!!!
damn lmao*
but its true 🌚
@@HozterDuckTripleX thank you! At lest someone realizes..
Hopefully they do Alfred’s Theme
@@user-ly7zl9gb7m i hope, that song is 🔥
From Em group back in 90s Soul Intent Proof was in it too. More Em reactions please. Big love from Ireland
Jesus loves you !!
I really appreciate the going back over this song and even starting it right over at the beginning to get the bars. This is the way it should be done. You'll never get it all, but you gotta at least give it a shot. Do this for all of his songs. Listen to it all to get the flow, and then go verse by verse and just see what jumps out.
No one expects you to get it all, and you don't have to wring out the song like a dish cloth. Just give it a couple passes is all.
"Go To Sleep" - Eminem, my favorite diss track from Em. The cadence, the beat, and the chorus make for a great workout song
This track goes so HARD.
Agree
I second this one 🫡☝️💯
Big track
Alfred's theme and book of rhymes, every single line is bar ( especially alfred's theme)
Hell yeah, just bought the vinyl copy of that album, simply amazing
Same bruh
This is one of Ems first songs.. I can’t believe he’s always been just ridiculously good!
Farewell is a good Eminem song. Or Castle/Arose listen to these 2 back to back. Amazing story telling 👍
Eminem was actually signed by Dre when he was 26. NEVER give up on your dreams!
The really good thing about doing these "throwbacks" of Em tracks is that you can CLEARLY hear the massive influences from other rappers and groups on how he structured his bars.
There was a HUGE "Wu-tang influence" on this track. Not just in how he flowed, but in the way the track was put together for scratches, beats, horns and overall beat.
There was also a little bit of "EMPD" mixed in there too with some of the way the schemes doubled back on each other to stay consistent with "things that bite" (Spiders, dogs, vampires). Yet, like some old EMPD references, it isn't automatically what you think of when you mention these different things UNTIL you tie it all back together into what they all DO.
Example, normally when you just say a dog, most people think of puppies or a family pet, possibly even a general visual appearance. When you mention vampires, you think about the charisma, the look, maybe even imagine an accent. And obviously, you mention spiders and people think of webs, legs and maybe an image of one dangling from a string hanging upside down. BUT as soon as you mention "bite", your mind automatically goes "YEAH, they do bite"... bringing you back to the concept that ties them all together.
And with Vampires and Spiders... they "bite" in order to SURVIVE. While Dogs "bite" when ANGRY. So, the other rappers are "biting his style" either because they are MAD and have to do it, or they need to SURVIVE. Either way, they can't match Em on the mic without COPYING him on the mic, which only makes their careers shorter because they can't do it for long without other people noticing it and commenting on it.
By going over this song like this you guys gave me a new appreciation for this song. I never paid it much attention, it's too bouncy to take seriously, but Em killed this, waaay back in the day. I'm glad you guys gave it the time it deserved, I slept on it.
Definitely do Alfred's theme it's one of my all time favorite songs
Whoever rapped on this will be big someday.
nah they ain't gonna make it
@SecaKaizen ruined the joke
I believe you’ll find comfort in knowing his name is M&M.
He mostly stayed underground with his mixtape “Soul Intent” with Dj Butteh Fingaz. Afterwards, he’d release “Infinite” with a small time producer, and he spent most of his savings on getting the record out in stores.
Unfortunately, due to his illegal use of samples, he was sued, using up all the money he made on the sales of the album, of which he only sold about 1000 copies of.
M&M would go on to make a couple more mixtapes with DJ Butteh Fingaz until he had kids in 2001. He remains married to his baby momma to this day, at least, that’s all we know, since no one really cares about him anymore.
damn sad@@ninjireal
You guys argue over what the bars mean, and it’s hilarious, because he means both. That’s what makes it a bar
Biterphobia refers to people biting his style, but also incorporates being literally bitten by a spider, and becoming afraid of it. hence the double meaning.
I've been a fan of Eminem for at least 15 years and even I have never heard this song 😂 maybe I was left out
It’s reaaaalllly old. Like 1990.
This has been around for a long time. But picked up more popularity when Em re-released it apart of that Shady XV batch of old songs
1995 off the soul intent "soul intent" mixtape, with the other track being Fuckin' Backstabber
@Jenny Brantley prolly recorded in 94’ released in 95’ fasho
@@JennyBrantley that’s not that old
This is definitely what old school hip hop used to sound like the records mixing and spitting an amazing verse on the mic Marshall Mathers true lyrical genius Rap God goats 49 still killing it and I mean goats I mean Eminem Slim Shady Marshall Mathers

im here for if I get locked up tonight... classic cut between albums
Now this is the vibe right here! What you guys doing - this is how we did it when we were 11 and 12 (and will proceed to do until present day), this is how it's done!
We sat in a circle everytime Em dropped a new song/album, we would dissect the lyrics and 20 years later - Em is singlehandedly (along Sir Tolkien) responsible for our rich af vocabulary and eloquence...
Rap God even before he dropped Rap God, illest skill there is!
You bring back a nostalgia for a simples time, and you bring back golden memories when you and your crew used to just hang out and have a good time ^^
Soul intent was a rap group eminem was a part of back in 1996
shout out to you all! love the em vids and trying to catch bars with you guys
Castle and arose together please🙏🏼🙏🏼
Very few people were rappin that hard back then. His cadence and ability to find unexpected rhymes was fresh AF.
🎉🥂🎉Congratulations on 200K🎉🥂🎉

"Girls" and "No Apology" these are 2 of Eminems best songs.
Now they had to play that back to catch bars!
At first I could tell they were just feeling his flow!
This is how Em gets you he has impeccable flows and he’s a wordsmith
Good shit Fellas Never Heard this before 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🥶💪🏽
Dang! The 90's! lol. You can tell how old this is! He was already a Lyrical Beast!
Also ‘Drop the Bomb on em’ another fire track from Em
This was from the EARLY 90s! Before Em was signed or known by anyone. Literally 30 YEARS old!
Ya'll still needa check out Lock It Up by Em! It's one of his HARDEST modern songs you'll love it!
Also Alfred's Theme if you want to be mind-blown by bars!

Biterphobia is the fear of spider.. love that this dude on black he's always eager to learn more all the time, and the dude next to him is like the wiki in the room, I can tell he was always with em when em is writing his bars coz this dude always catches more details and bars and always ready to decipher so fast.. I applaud y'all
I love watching y’all. Add Pentatonix - Mary did you know or Hallelujah, The Platters - Only you, Alan Jackson - Remember When, Brooks & Dunn - Believe, Fleetwood Mac - Dreams or Gypsy. That should keep y’all busy awhile 😉

11:18 that moment, with the cut, presumably a talk in between, and toned down attitude afterwards. It's just gold
Btw I love your stuff guys
This song is so fucking dope. I can only assume nobody in the 90s had a chance to hear this, because he would've been signed in an instant.
yo kudos y'all ive been an eminem fan for 20+ years i have never heard this song y'all put me on something new thanks
Soul Intent was his underground group back before he made i, early to mid 90's. Highly recommend their track "What Color Is Soul"! Em's only on third/last verse though, but his flow is crazy!
Eminem “ if I get locked up tn” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate the three guys on the right, they always willing to participate without making it all about them. Special shout out to my man on the right who's always catching bars but not making a big deal about it. I like this crew.
Soul Intent was his underground group. Way before he had anything with Dre.
Y’all should check out “ Business“ by Em
thats shit
All time fav
Cleanin out my closet please!!!
I must say you guys dug deep. I never heard of this one.
I met M at a party at an X games athlete party. So chill and cool! This was before he was known by the world.
Marsh and Lock It Up! You know the people want it
He’s that goated hahahaha too funny loved it
Biterphobia
Noun. Fear of Biters (People who copy other people's styles, words, etc.) Formation of this word comes from a mixture of "Biter" (Copier) and "Phobia" (Fear). This mixture may have been spawned by the Eminem demo song of the same name off of a Soul intent demo - Urban Dictionary
Been waiting on this reaction. This is possibly Eminem’s first recorded song.
Yesss👏👏🔥🔥
have y'all done Dads gone crazy? thats a great one right there
Gentllemen may I humbly request you react to Adam Rupps drum solo... I am itching to see how you react and then fall down the home free rabbit hole. All respect, if your ever in the UK we'll take you out for pint. Stay FIERCE !
Groundhog Day , buffalo bill are a must , keep them reaction up
When the bars are so fire you have to pause the video, rewind it, look back at the verse, and dissect that shit.
Dope reaction
This track remains me of the late 80s early 90s in Chicago, when they came out with Hip House, its hip hop over House Musix.
Soul Intent was a group Em was a part of early in his career. Em been putting out music since the early 90s.
Only real fans (stans) know bout biterphobia, first channel I've seen react to it. Subscribed needless to say 💪🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can yall pleaseeeeee do Alfred's theme already, I need to see yall stroking out at the level of the bars.
Y'all gotta do "Rock Bottom" And "Cleaning Out My Closet"
You need to hear Medicine Ball, Buffallo Bill, Role Model
his first song!! crazy how well he rapped then pff
Soul Intent was one of the original groups he was in. Bassmint Productions was the first group he was in & Soul Intent was the evolved version Of Bassmint Production with some of the same Original members like Dj ButtahFingaz & Eminem.
These are the mixtapes that found they way to dre and the rest is history 🥶 cold bars from the blond hair blue eyed Killa
