The character was heavily based on Em's real life but there's still some slight differences between the 2 of them. Regardless, it's a top-5 Em workout song. this track here and "Run Rabbit Run" is two of my fav Eminem Tracks! brings back soo many memories of 8mile! for everyone seen the Movie, y'all remember the infamous bus Ryhme Scene where Em is sitting with his Cassette Player, headphones in. with paper and pen, Writing parts of the song "8mile"😜 .. all this while riding a public Transit. LOL What a Legend!
@@elizabitty213 Me too, they were legendary times. Em was the first and only of his kind and he was our generation, truly proud to say that. It's good to watch these younger generations appreciate his music.
@@RushNZ absolutely! He is so undeniably the greatest lyrically, of all time imho. I really hope they get around to this performance because it also showcases him just rapping in everyone’s faces, after all the censoring and backlash, he is here saying what he wants to say. Just epic! Especially the moment where he gives a pound to Carson Daly lol
@@elizabitty213 Hahaha oh snap I remember that, he daps up Carson but leaves Fred Durst hanging... Em was a real mfer lol. I agree, there's never been a better lyricist than Eminem, even Rakim said that, and he's one of the OG goats. The great thing about Em is he can make songs that make you feel as well as songs that are just lyrical masterpieces. If he's not in your top 10 you just don't get it.
The majority of Eminem catalog that are his number one hits are produced by Eminem, hes been producing sense his first album. He would humm a beat and tell the producers what sounds to make hes hearing in his head. Dre said bro thats producing ...them em caught the producer bug and been doing it every sense. Hes produced a whole tupac album..nas songs and jay zs renegade was eminems produced beat. Basically you can watch him do a freestyle on tim Westwood where he is literally messing with the beat on the turntable as hes rapping to fit what style he wants to rap on it because he has dog hearing with pitches and what frequencies and he could tell it was off so mid rapping he walks over and adjust it lmao
Still hoping for a Nas - “Rewind” reaction but if you still wanna do another Eminem reaction, that D-12 and Eminem “My Band” song would be a fun reaction
@@davidgbenke I agree! Rewind is one of the best tracks I’ve ever heard and the story was even better because he rapped the story backward. I had to listen to that song several times to thoroughly get the song from the actual beginning to the end of the track. I loved how even some of the dialogue between the characters in the story was backwards as well like that one part where he said “shoot don’t please” but in normal dialogue, he’s saying “please don’t shoot.” You can also picture everything going backwards as well like how he described the smoke going back into the blunt and back into the flower. Nas was wayyy ahead of his time those days.
I love you guys reactions I'm 62 so I've been around for the beginning of the lot of the stuff you post on all the genres you're discovering. Regarding Eminem there is an old video of him sitting in the car rapping with his best friend Proof, leaning into the car. It came out uncovered right at the beginning of his career and it's in 8 Mile neighborhood. It's before he's made it you should look for it.
All those songs you mentioned...Til I Collapse, Lose Yourself, 8 Mile, Wanksta and them are on the 8 Mile soundtrack. Not his 1st album. His movie soundtrack.
Most Eminem fans know that 50 killed this beat. "Picture me polishing pistols, Icoming to get you, shells hit you your screaming, think I'm playing I mean it, maaaan just bought all these pistols let's get it poppin". That shit was so hard back in the day

I think y'all llllloved N ENJOYED every word every minute,,,,,all made such sense,,,he Eminem,,,,is,,,,,1 OF A KIND,,,
First on back to back days boys😂💪🏽
Ok?
💀
Yo bro
@@mattsm00th bro a marlins fan talking shit😂😂
this track here and "Run Rabbit Run" is two of my fav Eminem Tracks!
brings back soo many memories of 8mile!
for everyone seen the Movie, y'all remember the infamous bus Ryhme Scene where Em is sitting with his Cassette Player, headphones in. with paper and pen, Writing parts of the song "8mile"😜
.. all this while riding a public Transit. LOL
What a Legend!
Please do his performance at the 2000 MTV music awards! 🙏🏻💕
Yo I second this comment guys, this was a legendary performance. Even Jim Careys intro is a legendary moment lol.
@@RushNZ omgosh yes! I miss those days
Rewind would be amazing. And One Mic
You guys are definitely giving Em the roses he deserves
This song hits so hard for anyone who is struggling to make something of themselves!!!!
💯
Q
This one is def my fave by Em... it was a fun time to be in your early 20s when this was popular!
You all need to do Kim! 🔥
Another edition of the Stan Family. Love it
Please do Eminem - I’m back and G.O.A.T
....and "Say What You Say" and "Kill You"....FIRE!!
Those are great
Only I'm Back is worthy out of all these hot takes.
You dudes are chill man no doubt. Good stuff
I just appreciate y'all for not using the opportunity to gain some revenue from the eminem diss.
Tone deaf 🙂
All those songs you mentioned...Til I Collapse, Lose Yourself, 8 Mile, Wanksta and them are on the 8 Mile soundtrack. Not his 1st album. His movie soundtrack.
One of my favorite songs and it just shows he not just this word smith he got straight baaaaaannngggers!
Eminem is truly the Bomb! Talented ASF!
I remember y'alls first eminem reaction. :) Glad you guys kept going. I am from Louisiana too. So glad you guys are killing it on UA-cam!!
Most Eminem fans know that 50 killed this beat. "Picture me polishing pistols, Icoming to get you, shells hit you your screaming, think I'm playing I mean it, maaaan just bought all these pistols let's get it poppin". That shit was so hard back in the day
Lloyd banks killed it too
Y’all my favorite reaction channel for real 🔥 and I’m a white dude from the country so y’all hitting everywhere 😂
This is by far one of his best single tracks he ever produced! I love this song! The struggle was real!!!
Listen too “Say Goodbye to Hollywood” - Eminem!
It is deep and one of his best songs ever! Top 5!
It’s on the 8 mile soundtrack. That’s why 50 on there. Do Love Me with Obie Trie, 50 Cent and Eminem.
