She looked so completely lost and so alone. As a happily married woman of 18+ years, I cannot fathom the thought of being without my beloved husband. I adore him immensely, and it breaks my heart to even THINK about living life without him by my side.
A lot of credit for her reign comes down to the sensible way she was raised by George VI and the Queen Mum, whose family values helped Britain recover from the debacle of Edward VIII's short reign. Albert was a far better king than he himself thought and from what I've seen, heard, and read, his people came to love him and his family. I still go back and watch National Geographic's film, "The King Who Fooled Hitler," which told the little known story of how George VI, his Queen, and Princess Elizabeth participated in wartime plans to deceive the Nazis. It's a story every bit as exciting as any adventure movie. Elizabeth II comes from a _family_ of badasses! Happy New Year, everyone! Stay safe.

The Prince of Wales will be a good King...But by definition...his reign is likely to be a short one. Prince Charles has a first class record as Prince of Wales, his Duchy of Cornwall estates were in ruins when he inherited them...with empty farms and many seriously poor tenants. Lets just hope it goes forward because few people would put in the work that's required...Charles normally works15 hrs days !! People who say the wish that Prince Charles or The Queen would hand the Crown over to William...by-passing Charles. Haven't a clue what's involved to be a monarch Thankfully Both The Queen and Prince Charles do...they want to give William and Kate as much time as possible before they have that " royal net" cast over them. William was so needful of Prince Harry and his wife...to help... It is set to be the smallest "Royal Family" ever... Once the Queen dies... The Queen had her Uncles and Cousins working along side her...Who will work with William?

I actually think we have to give alot of credit to the Queen for how successful the first lockdown was last April. Compared to the bumbling of the government in the second wave with dominic cummings. The first wave was actually coordinated fairly well as soon as the decision was made and public compliance was much stronger and it gave us time to figure out what the hell was going on and how best to deal with it.
There's also the fact she served in World War 2 (as a driver and mechanic) and she apparently has a great sense of humour. I read somewhere that the James Bond opening ceremony of the London Olympics was originally going to star Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth but when the Queen got wind of it she wanted to do it herself and apparently kept it a secret from her grandkids to surprise them. Also, Princess Anne has said in an interview that years ago on a trip to Australia, a group of university students once presented the Queen with a gag gift of a mechanical hand - a stuffed glove on a lever which waved back and forth - for when her real hand got tired of waving. According to Princess Anne, the Queen thought it was hilarious and had it on display at Balmoral for quite some time until it mysteriously disappeared.
So grateful that I grew up under her rule. Seeing a woman in such a position of power in my formative years really helped empower me and other young girls I think.

If you are not impressed by this amazing woman's accomplishment's for the "so called...weaker of the sexes" you are indeed brain dead! This incredible woman is incredible in every way and I admire her with nothing short of awe! She has taken on her duties in everyway imaginable and succeeded beyond all measure! HRH The Queen of England is the most admirable human being on this planet! All my love to you, your Majesty. God Save the Queen!
I hope she has the strength to carry on without her true love at her side. So-so sad. R.I.P. Prince Philip
I know, right?!? When I saw the photos of her sitting by herself at Prince Philip’s funeral (due to the pandemic), I literally couldn’t stop crying. They had been married for 73 years. She looked so completely lost and so alone. As a happily married woman of 18+ years, I cannot fathom the thought of being without my beloved husband. I adore him immensely, and it breaks my heart to even THINK about living life without him by my side.
I’m missing Prince Philip and it felt like he was mine but he wasn’t
Stay safe.
being the last surviving monarch of WWII has given her the solid foundation to reign with inner strength through the years... being isolated during the pandemic? that's just peanuts compared to WWII... try living through the war years...
Interesting. Where can I watch or buy “The King Who Fooled Hitler?” I love history stuff like this
@@alexeimscruz2893 yeah her family refused to leave Britain behind while Britain was getting blitzed during WWII. I believe it was Windsor Castle that got bombed while they resided there and they still refused to leave. Then she went on to join the British forces in the war as soon as she turned 18. They also lived on rations like the rest of Britain. Her father was what Britain needed at the time. And she went on to serve her country for the rest of her life
George VI was definition of badass monarch and his daughter was definitely his girl.
As a women I am freaking proud of her. 🙏🏽 🇺🇸 🇱🇰
"Long Live Queen Elizabeth", indeed!
Shut up
She always seemed to me to be very practical, very down to earth.
I love how the Queen drived for Saudi prince that was so savage!
everyone knows she is a badass
an immortal badass at that
I was waiting for this the whole 2020. now i AM happy
She's remarkable!
She will write a telegram on her 100th to herself. William will become a great King but I am afraid how Charles will deal with being King.
The Prince of Wales will be a good King...But by definition...his reign is likely to be a short one. Prince Charles has a first class record as Prince of Wales, his Duchy of Cornwall estates were in ruins when he inherited them...with empty farms and many seriously poor tenants. His priority has been to build up those estates and now he will hand over to Prince William... An amazing Duchy of Cornwall success story...
@@hotoneinspai I wonder about Charles becoming head of the church, as he is divorced? Maybe .. he will be King, but his son William will be head of the church?
Why? You won't know until it happens.
@@Chuck0856 He is an old Fuddy Duddy just like his father. Mind you he has certainly waited long enough to be King. He was raised in a much more regal time & the thoughts of the Royals getting divorced was never discussed during his life. Times have certainly changed with the Royals marrying Divorces but go back a few hundreds years & cousins married cousins - just like in the Pharoah's ruling of Egypt
Hopefully, Charles' reign will be short, and he will step away for William...
May Her husband the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Rest in Peace. God Save the Queen.
I miss Prince Philip and I can literally see him when I close my eyes. That’s when my dreams are starting
Watching this after she has passed away! She was an amazing presence in my life and I always admired and loved her. RIP Queen Elizabeth.
I dearly love this woman. Everything about her is appealing, but my respect for her lifetime of service to her country is over the top.
Rest in peace ma’am thank you for everything may the angels see you along safely
I always thought the Queen was very serious all the time... turns out I was wrong 😂😂😂
She’s always badass.
Oh heck yeah she is
Totally true, Queen Elizabeth the Second's awesomeness clearly knows no bounds! 👑😍
@Brandy Pompeo who said that? 😳
@Brandy Pompeo: There is something wrong with you 🤨.
@Brandy Pompeo: Nobody asked for a history lesson.
We should all contemplate how lucky we are to have lived during the reign of the World's most famous monarch. 1000 years from now. Elizabeth will still be the world's most famous monarch.
You bet
I didn't know she served in the War as a Mechanic. She led an incredible life. May she rest peacefully.
Bruh when you live this long you have enough material for a top 30.
An amazing woman! One of a kind! There will never be another like her again! ❤️
She's a truly wonderful woman. Yes, really.
Hello Carol how're you doing today?
I didn't know about the shooting, she was very very calm, and controlled the horse like a pro 😱 I'm in awe really. She is a very tough and controlled person. Very admirable.
Personally I would have fainted right there, and fall off the horse 100%. 😭
The world won't be the same without a Queen Elizabeth. Our Queen for 70 years. She is at rest with her beloved Phillip. She's done her duty - even more than expected - she's tired and needs to rest now. God save our Queen. God bless our King.
Did you know that The Queen asked to play herself in the James Bond scene in the palace? It was going to be played by an actress but her Majesty wanted to do it 😊👸
The Queens are beautiful and badass since they have the power, they rule in their countries and they will always make the best in history
Yeah best looters are British crown..no surprises you see them as best
She will be so missed! ❤️
The Queen hase been a badass most of her life! God save the Queen
Lovely lady! Told my history students today in Singapore that she served in WWII and they were very impressed. She was Singapore's queen from 1952 through to independence.
I have always thought she was a badass, beautiful and a very intelligent Lady.. Even though I am a Texan, I felt a deep loss when she passed. Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth, you will go down in history as the most honorable Monarch to reign..
Nice list of the Queen's bravery and spunk. I love scenes where Phillip pretended to be a guard, her love of her dogs, and generally being herself. She will be missed.

According to Princess Anne, the Queen thought it was hilarious and had it on display at Balmoral for quite some time until it mysteriously disappeared.
the saying "god save the queen" makes me believe that god really did stand by her side by her hitting the age of 96 ♥
So grateful that I grew up under her rule. Seeing a woman in such a position of power in my formative years really helped empower me and other young girls I think.
I love this iconic strong woman and I'm glad she represents my country. It's just sad to see her and Harry together having fun!
I feel for her, now that Prince Philip is gone💔🥺
Let the world know that The Queen is badass in the most beloved way...
Long Live The Queen
Get a grip
Makes me proud to be British 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
She achieved so much in what the average person would achieve in a thousand lifetimes but she did that all in one life long live the queen
I didn't realize I would be so emotional during these days. RIP
