It's good that a person can get a tree canopy started in a more arid place such as Arizona !!!!
As far as the citrus trees go,they are always hungry for plant food,my dad has his citrus tree (i.e. lemonade, lemon, orange & mandarin trees) growing on his old septic transpiration area,he was made to get a pump out tank installed on his property as the transpiration area is only 1/2 a metre of sand on glacial rock, the water leached into the front drain when 7 of us were living in the house.
The citrus must be getting their nutrients from the sand being full of the nutrients from the septic system, all of them do well except the orange tree.
Maybe the orange tree needs more plant food or something but the lemonade & mandarin tree gets loaded with fruit each winter,so much so with the mandarin tree we have to give them away by the bucket load.
My youngest brother used to work in horticulture so he pruned the mandarin tree right back, perhaps that's why it gets loaded with fruit !!!!
For some reason, our family has never done well with orange trees,I have to find out why !!!!

VeganAthlete my grandpa has one of those growing on a mesquite tree that's pushing 30 or so feet. Last year most of the dragon fruit grew on the top part of the tree and none of us could reach it. Birds loved it though.

your back yard pond creates mini biome for your plants.if you were to put a small net over your whole yard it would further biome. I was thinking the best way to enjoy cold water from practical analysis is to walk in to or almost waste deep then dive under and swim then come up. it sends the rush of endorphins to your outer extremities with rush of adrenaline too which counters the cold effect as your blood heats up. it feels magical

Secret to high amount of fruits = mainly phosphorus and a little bit of potassium and trace minerals. If you want 100% organic use bone meal and fish guts. Bone marrow and guts have the highest concentration of phosphorus. Put it on the damn tree right before its about to fruit. Nitrogen is for leaves. Composted leaves/grass clippings and manure would be best for nitrogen. Wood Chips and Wood Ash for Potassium and good for the Roots and trunk. So to break it down.
    1. When young tree is first planted you want good roots - meaning you want more phosphorus and potassium. So use Fish guts/bone meal and Wood chip/Manure based worm castings and compost. Do not use too much nitrogen. No chicken manure.
    2. Once established - During growing phase plant is growing stems and leaves - so More potassium and nitrogen. For potassium best source is wood chips and wood ash. For nitrogen use chicken manure, grass clippings etc.
    3. Do above till tree is about to fruit - then add the fish guts again.
