- My first ride in 5 weeks and it was a great one and didn't I know about it physically, very technical and some difficult sections that tested my abilities to the max, the section down from Back Tor was the most difficult section I've ever ridden in my life and indeed I ended up pushing a lot of it, the trail this side of Win Hill was a blast and my first time, but the push up win Hill was awful and very hard work with a full fat ebike and old man pushing it lol, I have to admit to one almighty bollock on my part, I tried to be clever and redesign one part of the ride with turned out to be a disaster and resulted in me having to go across farmland negotiating several styles and a field with juvenile bulls in it, they eventually moooved aside after I shouted a few expletives at them, not to be recommended if you have a trail pup, I've warned you so don't shout at me, I also will not try this again In a hurry.

Must of had some freak weather in the hope valley it was dry further east on Friday. Classic stuff. Ian does some great routes. Nice one 👍
It was dry where I live in the south side of Sheffield too but as soon as I crossed the Derbyshire border it started, I should have known it’d rain on my first day off in weeks, oh well I’m not going to melt and neither is my bike 😉

Thanks Ian, your welcome mate, hope it helps you get more subscribers, it looks like I’ve a couple more off this video so I’m happy about that, I never went into UA-cam to be some kind of influencer but it’s nice to know that people are watching and liking what I’m doing and subscribing of course, it was great to get out again but because I’ve not been out in a while I’m getting leg cramps, looks like I’ll be scoffing bananas for a while 🤣🤣

Nice ride I recognised some of it from one of your previous rides 🙂. You have to love stubborn cattle, so may people are afraid of them too you did ok shifting them theyre often more curious of you and don;t want to move at all like they stood initial, you did well to get them out of your way
It’s a beautiful place to ride and so much to ride too, I didn’t show all the video with the bulls, I had to really shout at the stubborn one and one or two expletives came out too 🤣

I nearly did but I didn’t think anyone would like to hear me swearing, I always edit the swearing out unless I’ve missed one or two 🤣🤣
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 I gave up editing my swearing out .... There wouldn't be much left if I removed it lol ... Just sat at the ferry ..going to do a gentle solo ride and litter pick on my way up into Grizedale ..the plan is to go down the path that I thought I was on when I did the sketchy one.... Sometimes I've put a warning in about my language ...only sometimes
I did a lot of swearing too, more than usual I think pal, I’m not judging anyone who leaves swearing in their videos it’s just something I feel uncomfortable with mate, I’m not lily white though because I’m sure if my first video had swearing in it, that makes me a hypocrite 🤣🤣

🤣🤣yesterday pal, all this week it’s been red hot, sweating my nuts off at work with my head stuck inside sink units and unblocking 💩’y bogs, I get a day off and it goes tits up 🤷♂️

It was awesome pal, it’s great to ride stuff I’ve never done before too, I’ve got a few more rides that Ian shared with me with stuff I’ve never done so I’m looking forward to trying them too 🤘
