Something that I wanted to clarify on, me saying "Not being able to eat 95% of what's in grocery stores" was a massive over exaggeration and I should've clarified that. There are many options out there and lots of foods that are naturally gluten free, and I'm working on a video talking about different gluten free foods you can find in stores.
My symptoms were digestive. After 3 years GF I went off my diet and no problems. THEN it manifested in my skin...dermatitis herpetaformis....AWFUL! back on the diet forever!
From one Celiac to another. I'm so sorry to hear that you went through that. I have three sons and their stories are all unique. I can relate the fact that you kept many of your feeling to yourself. I'm sad that genetic testing isn't more readily available and should absolutely be included in a diagnosis, not just blood testing because you may not have the antibodies left to trace them. I hope everyone tells their doctor that they need genetic testing so you don't left years go by without a proper diagnosis.
hey brother, ur video was very relatable as i was diagnosed about 6 months ago. I was just wondering if your brain fog ever went away, and was also wondering if it feels like it effect your vision in a way?
The brain fog does definitely go away from gluten itself but it's extremely important to not be anywhere near where it could be in the air because that is more than enough to worsen the brain fog again. I have an aunt who ended up needing to move because she lived on a farm near a wheat field and even that caused issues. For most people, brain fog typically clears up after about 3 months. And yes it did affect my vision but it's hard to describe how, kind of like everything was fuzzy sort of?
My symptoms were sever fatigue sever back pain food in stool early menopaus hair turned white ezcema stomach pain gas metal taste in my mouth dryness under eyes asthma deep sleep night sweats bad teeth
Hi there I'm highly suspicious I have undiagnosed celiac can I ask please where was your back pain ?and my hair is coming through white like aging gray hair but it's white Also have lots of other issues Hope your doing better xx. Helen UK
Really enjoyed your video. Lots of similarities in your journey and mine. Particularly the parts on how it affected your mental health. Thanks for sharing.
Extreme bloating , fatigue, face gets red and puffy , lethargy , rash on my back , stabbing pain on stomach after having a sandwich when I consume gluten , hair loss , I’m getting blood work done , I don’t want to do more test I know how I feel
That is 100% valid. The thing that sucks is that these tests only work when you're actively eating gluten so I completely understand feeling like it isn't worth it. If you're eating gluten still it probably is worth it for medical reasons, make sure they give you the newer celiac panel (tTG immunoglobulin or DGP antibody test) because they gave me the outdated IgA test and those are extremely inaccurate, I wish you the best
I gotta find an organic gluten free bread and some more organic snacks that are gluten free, Do you think it was worth eating gluten for the test because I am worried about permanent stomach problems from eating the gluten for the test I've taken Psychedelics and I feel like any tiny amount effects me, I'm 21 so idk if my stomach would heal as fast
If you’re already eating gluten free I honestly don’t have a concrete answer on that. I think it really depends on how much the official diagnosis matters to you. If you have it narrowed completely down to gluten from different diets, I personally would probably just stick with it. But as for stomach damage, going back on gluten for a couple weeks would absolutely suck, and probably have lasting effects for a bit that you can feel, but I don’t think you’d have any permanent consequences going back for a couple weeks for the test. Also as for bread and snacks, funny you mention that because I’m currently working on a tier list video for a bunch of different gluten free breads and snacks, likely the next video I upload.
@@WiseWordsofWill that's so funny definitely looking forward to seeing what you think about the breads and I did narrow it down to gluten for years but I also feel horrible if I eat eggs and dairy on top of gluten

Yo why don't you get more views and likes!
Werid question but did you have normal stools when eating Gulten or diarrhea poop?
Without getting graphic basically the complete opposite of normal everyday
When you had pain in your stomach was it everywhere, only on your left side or only on your right side?
It feels like you ate something rotten

People don't understand until they go through something similar or if they suffer in other ways usually they have more empathy and thought of others
I’m celiac disease with 3 autoimmune diseases xx
