    Very interesting.
I can confirm a strong correlation. I used to have migraines very frequently (2 - 4 times a week).
When I significantly reduced the carbs in my diet and basically eliminated all wheat as my diabetes II worsened I could see a gradual reduction in frequency and severity of the migraines over time.
I also almost completely eliminated inflammatory foods.
*I am now absolutely migraine free!*
Thank you very much and all the best!

I've suffered from headaches for over 25 years. There hasn't been a single day over the last 5 years or so when I didn't need to take 1 or 2 painkillers. I end up in the hospital sometimes when pills don't kill the pain. I don't have celiac disease but 10 days ago I decided to start a gluten-free diet and guess what? It's gone. Gone. No headaches since then.

So happy for you, I'm having the same problem for past 3 months. Gonna go gluten free for a few weeks and check if I have the same. Pray for me 🙏

@@darksider17 didn't work for me... But I did found that it was bruxism because I always had major headaches right after I got up. Do get that dentist appointment too.

Very interesting to listen to. I'm 42 years old and had a SAH just under 2 years ago. I had no migraines until the age of 33 after I ate a large amount if doughie bread and soup. I was bedded down for two days with head pain and vomiting. I felt ill and the head pain continued for the rest of the week. Over the next few years I'd have a severe migraine every 2 or 3 months. I checked hydration, sugar levels, sleep pattern, alcohol intake and finally cut out wheat, during which time i had what i now know to be a TIA. I didn't have another migraine for a year after going wheat free, althougb i wasn't 100% GF, and that migraine was mild enough to work through. I'm 42 now and have just been told I may be celiac, although I can't be tested due to risks. I've decided to go Gluten free 100% now and my kids are due to be tested for celiac disease in the coming weeks. If you get this far down my comment, do you think my SAH may have been caused by a gluten-heavy diet ? Great video btw :-)

Very interesting and how that none of my Dr's have mentioned this to me. I don't think I'm gluten intolerant, but it's really got me thinking. Thank you.

I have been on a gluten free diet for five years. If I eat a gluten food I will have an opthalmic migraine within 24 hours. No pain just the "C" arch of light in my one eye that lasts for about 15 minutes.

I had had migraine since 9. I had tried everything!! I stopped having gluten a year ago and I never had migraine again. I still have headaches but they are soft and maybe once a week or less, I take paracetamol and they stop. I was taking 3 paracetamol per day 2 years ago

The increased risk of diabetes could be a result of the increased amount of sugar in gluten-free processed products when compared with their gluten-containing counterparts, right? After reading the labels on them I've decided to stick to whole foods where possible and avoid processed as much as I can.

This is fascinating! I had a ana and iga test and my ana was abnormal and iga was also abnormal and my gi doc said it was positive. When he did a small intestine biopsy, it was negative. I suffer monthly migraines, some times 2-4 times a month. I have a lot of dizziness that last for about 3-7 days on average. I haven’t completely cut gluten but I have reduced and it seems to reduce the migraines but the dizziness is still an issue. Reducing gluten has helped with general pain and swelling and inflammation issues. Btw I am only 26 and this sucks....

Cut out gluten completely. It is worth it to stop the headaches/migraines. I suffered intense headaches daily. Cutting out gluten helped so much. Now I realise there are other triggers too. Caffeine, chocolate, soy. Eventually after cutting out all triggers, I hope to have no headaches.

Get checked for MS as well. Celiac can mimic MS, and symptoms are similar.
Be sure to get the celiac gene test, too. So important and can be done with a swab or blood.
ALL grains and dairy can mimic gluten, not just your typical wheat, rye, barley and oats. And they all can destroy the small intestinal lining. Once the villi flatten it’s hard to get fed.
Don’t ruin your gut like I did. Stop eating grains AND dairy!

Great video, Seems this understanding is not in the common medical literature as my GP did not see a migrain headache as a symptom. Been sick for 5 months with blood work and other symptoms pointing at Coelic diease. Currently had a daily headache that has lasted 6 weeks and counting that is not to bad in the morning but by about mid day and then through the evening just makes everything painful and impossible. It's been driving me crazy and of all the symptoms is the most life effecting. It seems that most medical practitioners are not aware of the migraine like headache as a symptom but found many medical practitioners who do understanding the connecting with inflammation in the gut and brain. Hope this understaing can expand more in the medical literature as peronsally I've found it to be to the worst of the Coelic diease symptoms.
