In the 10th grade, we knocced on his door, but nobody didn't answered. I guess that's for a reason. I'm from Nutty Blocc Compton Crip. Cedric Pollard was one of our top riders for the hood - ballin' out of control, but still pushing the line on puttin' in work for the hood. You don't find too many ppl with that much money still goin' on missions on the enemies regularly like that. He died in 1997 shooting up a funeral.
Before he got big in the dope game, and started takin' dope out of state, he robbed everything in Compton, Watts, and South Central L.A. He robbed one of raps biggest hip hop names for six figures in cash. I was in prison when he did all that.
Cedric Pollard was a fighter, a shooter, and a hustler at the same time. He was quicc to squabble with anybody. He was about 6'4", so he had that reach. He was even quicker to bust on somebody.
Me and him lived in our worst enemy hood. He lived a few houses down the street, so since we both lived in enemy hood, we always walked together as youngsters. We fought enemies side by side many days - got our houses shot up and all that, but even our enemies had mad respect for us.
We caught an attempted murder case together. You hardly saw one of us without the other. I miss my road dog, and I say all this in detail to let you know about your family. It blew my mind when you said Pollard. There are millions of Pollards, but the fact you said Marvin Pollard as a sheriff, you gotta be related to the homie.

I mean we don't know who he killed. If it was other gang members and not innocents then that is the kill or be killed mentality. He might have killed police, we don't and will never know.
Regardless, he is a very interesting person. I would like to think that someone who survives that much has something good to do or give.
There is no such thing as evil, it isn't that simple, unfortunately. All people have redeeming traits, skills and talents. Apparently, this guys most obvious talent is not dying haha.

Wow! Death just can’t put him down! This man has 9 lives . This was a tragic but fascinating interview. They could make a movie with his story.
