my grand father has constructed 6 bed rooms house.The age of this house135 years or so. Total number of rooms of this house is 14 rooms. The doors and windows are made of Burma Teak. They are without paint or varnish. There is no attack of white ants. The house is made with lime. The wall thickness is 18 inches, approx. Height of walls is 16 feet , aprox. Roof is made wooden frame , covered by half round tiles.There is no any damage to the walls ,doors and windows. Bed room sizes is 12× 16 feet, approx. After the age of 95 years, the roof tiles are replaced with "Manglur tiles". We are expecting another 200 years life or even more.
