However, based on my research, here are some of the devices and gear that Brian May has used to achieve his iconic guitar sound:
    1. Red Special Guitar: Brian May's custom-made guitar, which he built with his father in the 1960s. It has a unique construction, with a complex wiring system and three pickups that give it a distinctive tone.
    2. Vox AC30 Amplifier: May has used this classic amplifier throughout his career, often running it through multiple cabinets for a bigger sound.
    3. Delay Pedals: May is known for his use of delay effects, which create a repeating echo or slapback effect. He has used a variety of delay pedals over the years, including the Boss DD-3 and TC Electronic Nova Delay.
    4. Treble Boosters: May often uses a treble booster pedal, which boosts the upper frequencies of his guitar signal and gives it a sharper, more cutting tone. He has used a range of treble boosters, including the Dallas Rangemaster and his own custom-made model.
    5. Harmonizer Pedals: May has used harmonizer pedals to create additional melodic lines that complement his guitar playing. He has used the Eventide H3000 and the TC Electronic G-Force.
    6. Wah Pedals: May has used wah-wah pedals to create a sweeping, vocal-like effect on his guitar. He has used the Vox V847 and Morley Bad Horsie.
    7. Echoplex Tape Delay: May has used the Echoplex tape delay to create a warm, organic delay effect that sounds like a repeating tape loop.
    8. Guitar Synthesizers: May has used guitar synthesizers to create otherworldly sounds that blend with his guitar playing. He has used the Roland GR-500 and the Oberheim OB-Mx.
These are just a few of the devices and gear that Brian May has used over the years to achieve his signature sound. His approach to guitar playing and tone has been influential to many musicians, and he continues to be a revered figure in the world of rock and roll.

I’ve heard good things about Harley Benton. There’s an upgrade wiring diagram online so you can get the out of phase settings too
