I love this story. When I was 13 years old in the late 1950s in a small West Texas town at about 0445 in the AM, I awakened to here my mother screaming that a man had grabbed her. Apparently she had gone outside to scare what she assumed were dogs from our pet squirrel cage and a man had grabbed her. She was able to break free using a broom as a weapon. After I awoke, I grabbed my .410 shotgun that I used for hunting and ran outside. A large man was there and when he saw me he began to run toward the back of our property where there was my chicken coop, an alley and a plowed field surrounded by a barbed-wire fence. By the time that I got the safety off of the gun, the guy was at the rear of our property and I fired one round at him. I went into the house and got dressed and by that time my father had returned from work to eat breakfast and he called the sheriff. I tracked the man's foot prints to the alley and saw that my shot had blown a hole in the side of my chicken coop and at that moment the guy had varied his run to cross the alley into the plowed field. He had run through the barbed-wire fence and I found small spots of blood, presumably from the barbed-wire injuries. The sheriff arrived and after talking to my dad and mom, he took me aside and told me that if I ever had to shoot at another man, to call him right away because he might have to help me drag the body into the house to prevent having to lock me up.
I don’t completely disagree with what you said but if two men are of equal skill level but one is a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier my money is on the big guy.

back in the day, before my LTC, I stopped at my house mid-day and saw things strewn about the kitchen table and dining room table... I called my brother and asked why he made such a mess, and he had no idea what I was talking about! I grabbed the portable phone and went outside to call 911... officers arrived and cleared the house. I evidently walked into thieves ransacking my house, and there were piles of valuables laid out on the tables and upstairs beds!! when I went back out the front door they must have gone out the back! 😮 not sure what I would do differently now that I carry, but maybe hold at the front door and keep the guys upstairs for the police?
Owning a firearm is a step in being prepared for your own safety. You are responsible for securing the weapon, making sure you know how and when to use it and most of all being confident and knowledgeable about the operation of such a tool. I am really proud of her, and I'm sure her husband is as well. God Bless their family and keep them safe 🇺🇸🙏🏼❤
My wife was reticent about my firearms, I had lockers and explained ad nauseum. Now everyone is licensed including wife and daughter( she put her name on my 30-30). Firearms to along way to equalizing the fight for my ladies.
As I like to say, David couldn't win a fist fight with Goliath but he might win a shootout.

I hate thieves
"THIEVES could be here" he thought
Drunk and stupid never ends well. Thank God they did not have the AR they stole from the cop which should be a follow up story...
anti-gunners sure dont
A thief and a robber is differnt . A theif will steal something without you knowing . A robber will take something from you with you knowing
So I guess you hate the biggest thieves aka government 😂😂
Love this! Thank you for sharing this video.
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
I think there’s a common theme with people who have been victims of armed robbery, or home invasion. There’s a major sense of loss. Loss of innocence, loss of security.
As someone who found themselves in an armed robbery situation, despite loving guns, it wasn’t until after that incident that got me to get my concealed carry
Great story stay strapped America 🇺🇸
It's not the size of the man in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the man. Props to your hubby.
I don’t completely disagree with what you said but if two men are of equal skill level but one is a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier my money is on the big guy.
Great interview. Both of you are great advocates for the 2A. Stay safe.
I didn’t start carrying until I came home once and someone had broken into my house.
Stories like these are why I carry all day everyday, unless I'm at work. ( They don't allow firearms on the premises on penalty of termination.)
@@SeanBook001 same. Though i always try to keep at least some sort of knife on me when i cant carry as well.
Birds of a feather, you and I!@@Magavynhigara
@@SeanBook001 I was in the same situation at work. Instant termination. But they broke in multiple times that week. They had seen me packing up to go hunting. It took my neighbors close to a week to notice the partying they were doing. My home was a mess when I got back.
Scary stuff for sure.
A very informative interview with a happy ending. Thanks for presenting this Colion.
I was grabbed in a parking lot one night outside of a club. I managed to get away, the guy fled and was gone by the time the bouncer set off after him. I made my purchase, got trained and received my cc license. I now have several strategically placed and chambered tools throughout my home.
Love this story of a gun owner legally defending herself, not shooting the invaders, the simple sight of the gun by the intruders had them give up! ANDDDD writes the homeowner an apology!
Women and the elderly are the people who benefit most in terms of protection by firearms. HUGE advocate for that demographic to own firearms for protection. The equalizer
Best thing I told my mom was... this is the "safe" switch. This the trigger.
Great story
Once again, just a presence of a gun saves lives... Bravo!
🙏 to her and her family 💯 💪 to her husband
I grew up in a military family dad was in the army i was not the biggest kid around (Lawton Ft Sill OK) so dad tired of me gettin beat up had some army friends teach me 1) strength training 2) how to fight fast and dirty which saw me through high school. Dad never had guns at home i started shooting with cousins back at family home West Virginia I enjoyed it a lot but never got a gun until i lived two blocks from a homeless shelter after being confronted a couple times i started shooting and have a S&W M&P9 2.0 full size and a S&W equalizer i go through 400 rounds every time i go to the range at least once a week and i am getting better every time i go . So i enjoy you vids keep up the good fight !
Dude, few videos on UA-cam are truly fulfilling and make me smile. This one just took the cake. I had a similar situation, and it is a do or die situation. I'm so tired of the shallow arguments from lefties. I'm gonna grab a shirt from ya soon brother keep up the support for us. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this man.
My wife carries every where she goes.
Dems would just say you should have fled with your baby.

That's because no one wants to hear their constant whining and crying so they don't get robbed!

more people need to hear these real stories. Colion is right you're always your first responder and police will be minutes away when seconds are so critical
I Love how giddy Colion get’s

Awesome lessons in Human Folly
This is an awesome story and realization of the honest truth. True evil walks among us. What if those criminals had used the AR and body armor they stole from the government (the police) day’s prior. The same government that says give up your gun and we’ll all be safer. How messy could this exact scenario have gone?
Your responsibility to be ready for the fight never ends™️
This was a good interview.
They all hate guns until they need one 🤡🤡🤡
Obviously they weren't against guns if they already owned one
She didn’t hate them her mom did and limited her access and she was privileged enough to never feel like she needed one. Thankfully she met her hubby before that happened.
Same with men. There's no feminist in the trenches, minefields, coal mines and a house fire.
She never hated them
they all hate cops until they need to call them
Glad both of you are ok. Glad you had a gun to protect yourself
I’m glad she learned a valuable lesson too late…without fatal consequences!
If only others would and could learn from like realities.
She is a mom they hear everything
When I was going to University, there was a saying that was popular amongst us 2A supporters that went something like, "None are more passionate in their belief in the individual right to keep and bear arms, than a mugged liberal". When self-delusion meets reality, something's gotta give. Thank you for this great example, Sir!
Hk USP excellent selection and the Expert st that👍
You never know when the unexpected will happen. Being prepared to respond is critical, your life and others depend on it.
Everyone should listen to stories like this. People have it in there head some sort of idea how a situation will play out. Good luck on that, because it never happens when you expect it and it never happens the way you think it will. Get trained.
I consider myself lucky, I am a live-in girlfriend of 11 years and still to this day my bf is over protective of me. He makes sure I know the safe combo and have several devices at my access at all time, with plenty of mags loaded for each if I ever needed, not to mention my own small side arm for when I leave home.
Damn! Where do you live? Somalia or Lebanon?

Some young punks broke into our house about 9 years ago thinking no one was home but my son was in his room when he heard them kick in the back door he grabbed his AK-47 and the rest is history.
GREAT interview!
Thank you for posting these videos Mr. CN. You are doing an important work.
Real world example from a SANE lady describing exactly why we NEED gun rights in our favor. This was a great story and needs to be heard.
I use my CVA Optima muzzleloader for my home defense. I LOVE that gun.
I home carry and when people ask why i always say "Because 100% of home invasions happen in thr home" also, it helps practice new carry methods/holsters/clothes without triggering the hoplonphobes
Colion, man, you present yourself so well and speak so well on here that when I hear you curse, it really throws me. I had to rewind just to make sure of what I heard.
Yeah... Never had a home invasion but a car jacking happened in my past
I was a veteran and owned guns, but didn't carry for a couple years.
Then the Kingston Mall shooting happened, in 2005 while my girlfriend and i were in the Spencer's, just a couple stores away. I always carry or have a weapon in arm's reach now.
That is a BADASS and CRAZY story!!! Colion, super happy you didn’t talk shit to her for having .45 🤣
What a story ….. what a lesson ….. on so many levels
back in the day, before my LTC, I stopped at my house mid-day and saw things strewn about the kitchen table and dining room table... 😮
not sure what I would do differently now that I carry, but maybe hold at the front door and keep the guys upstairs for the police?
Refreshing conversation.
Owning a firearm is a step in being prepared for your own safety. You are responsible for securing the weapon, making sure you know how and when to use it and most of all being confident and knowledgeable about the operation of such a tool. Your life and security is in your own hands. Don't count on anyone else to do the job that may protect you and your loved ones.
Good on her!
Great story and glad it all worked out for them. Yes stay armed!
Sad it took such extreme circumstances , but it turned out well !!
Thanks for airing
