I would definitely want a storm shelter in your neck of the woods, not only for hurricanes but tornadoes as well. And welding them down is not overkill especially for a strong tornado. Ladly sure is growing and just to cute 😊. Have a great week
I just absolutely love you guys. Y’all are the bomb. I did a small dry pour and learned from my mistakes on the driveway but then I have a larger one that I’m going to do a dry pour for on my driveway. That’s a 55 x 95“ area And I am so excited to get this done. I love y’all’s technique thank y’all for sharing.
I want this DREO fan in my bedroom! Jim we are all expecting your welding to protect your family! No pressure at all!! Those Blue Gill looked like good eating to this Northern Boy. We used to catch'em in Central Illinois in the Illinois River. Fry them up or grill them up. Some good eating!
"I want this DREO fan in my living room". Video reminded me growing up in south Louisiana going gar fishing when we were kids about 30 years ago. Live in northeast Georgia now and make memories of deer hunting and fishing with my children and grandkids. I really like the fishing and new tractor videos. Look forward to the shop completion. Love the channel.
I like how y'all are doing the containers. Katrina taught us that we really need high ground. Every hurricane breeds tornadoes so we need solid high ground. The only thing I wondered is why y'all didn't get the locks off some of those container chassis and sink them in the concrete but the way you're doing it allows you a little room for error. With the locks, well, you're set wherever they are. Y'all are fine. Another quality Cajun Country installation. Good job y'all.
I’m a first timer on your channel! So I have no idea how to do any of it. lol but I definitely are getting ideas! If I was young and had the strength I’d be right along with you guys learning as I go. Can’t wait to see the end product! God bless you all. Your daughter is so adorable!
Looks like the only way I am going to see the sun is on your videos. Started raining again last night & still going strong now. Glad to see that y'all had a great time in the swamp and based on the overflow on the dam up here you are going to have a lot of water on the Sabine River for awhile. 👍👍
your uses demand research attention to detail and not cutting corners congrats on the build looks great and so many uses. After the work on the project going hunting and collecting for home prepared food is a massive deal. as for larvae netting a few thousand may help a bit but netting to stop them entering house a great thing and nets over beds? how do you navigate? tie some ribbons on major direction changes?
Glad you got the four legs of the container welded. Hope a tornado or hurricane doesn't come to test who has the best weld 😊 I always enjoy the trips through the swamp ( I like to call it the bayou. Sounds more fancy)😊 Is this area part of your property ( You've probably answered this question at one time or another) Sorry Jim While you were talking about the outboard motor everyone was paying attention to Ladly😊 I see you caught more than seven fish this time. So you can't blame us now😊 ( Unless this is still on the low count of what you catch when we're not watching) It's nice to see all three of you in the videos now. Ladly is growing so fast. It seems like yesterday that you were having to wait until she took a nap so you could work on the house.
On the open side of your net tie a bridal on and a rope out to a weight so you can pull the net tight then drop the weight and it will hold the net tight and always stay open. You will have a rope and weight on each end of your hoop net. Also get you some bait bags and add stink cheese
Get 2 pieces of heavy wall 4 inch p.v.c to put under the front of the boat rotate them rolling the boat where you need it. I have moved buildings , carports ect. This way. Try it on whatever good luck. From Georgia
I want the DREO Fan in my house. That DREO fan would certainly come in handy here in the Central Valley, Ca - the heat will be here in about 5 weeks or so. Nice job on the welding. I really enjoyed the back and forth banter between you two 😉. Jimbo is capable. Ladly is such a cutie. You guys got your work out moving that boat back to the water but you did manage to get some fish to cook up. Jim's feet and tan look very similar to mine in the summer. Have a great week. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
I want this DREO fan in my RV ... I've lived fulltime in my RV now for 3+ years and something like this would work wonders for clearing the air, and since I take immunosupressants for a kidney traansplant it would likely benefit me even more then I think. I only get a small SSI check each month so right now this would be about the only way to own it. Regardless, congratulations to whomever gets picked.
Lady I waved back to you,and Jim how do you get your goatee nice and trimmed? Yes it is not overkill to weld them down, and Jim when are you going to open a school for welding,I would be interested in signing up. Lydia could be one of your instructors. Have a great week Jim 25:28 and gals and yes you too Gus,lol
I just have to ask. Wouldn't it have been better to use the round holes in the container frame with a concreted in connection on both sides and then put a pipe from one side, through the concreted connection, through the frame and then through the second concreted in connection? I would think the pipe through the frame would be a long stronger than even the best welds you could make?
I want a Dreo fan in our living room here near Clarksville, Tennessee. I can't wait to see next installment on the container build y'all. How about some photo's of the bathroom with the painted gator and new toilet installed? Cheers from this old, retired coot living the dream in sunny Tennessee.
Glad you could get the containers welded. Hope the heat didn’t burn. Loved the swamp portion nice and peaceful. Except for the boat pulling part. Stay safe
Oh the workshop makes more sense with the diagram. 😊 Lydia is the better welder 😂 Your cheeky 4 foot timer is a natural for the camera❤ Enough fish for one meal 😮😢 Until the next video❤😊
Welding and fishin'? -- Hell yeah... -- :} I still cannot get over the amount of cuts and editing that go into these vids. Comparing back to the postings from just a few years ago. Incredible progress on all fronts. - cheers
Hi kids! Happy to see the progress today. LOVE watching you guys. Hey Jimbo, size 11 crocs? Also wondering, is that your sweet voice singing on some of your videos? BTW after seeing all those fish, I pulled out some fish for dinner for this ole great grandma & great grandpa. Of course a pan of fresh perch would be so much better.😊 Love y'all. Be well, take care!❤
Hi! Size 11 is spot on! We both play guitar and sing around the house all the time, but we don’t record it. We will have to show y’all sometime! Sounds like we will be having the same thing for supper! Love it! 🐟🐟🐟 thanks for the love!♥️
Oh, please start recording it. Way back in 1969, I was the musical talent for a variety show for 5 days. Oh how I would love to have those performances, all of my performances. You'll be in your 70's looking back and wishing you had. Great memories and keepsakes. Hearing you kids enjoying a night a singin and plunckin would be fantastic! ❤
I admire you Lydia. You can do it all, and you do it all while looking beautiful. Those bluegill in the last net full are one of the best eating fish. I can't wait for them to start spawning up here and catch the big bulls. We call them bluegills up here, but I think down south they are called bream. Don't throw those bluegill back in. I'd take a couple bluegill over a big cat any day.
your little girl is growing so fast and so nice lookin also take lots of pictures of her because these are the best years you will have with her god bless and all the best cheers from australia
"I want this DREO fan in my home theater." I have two home theaters but just one will do. My home is 90 years old but surprisingly energy efficient and no A/C is needed to keep it cool. Great insulation and black out curtains do a lot. Eight ceiling fans is what I rely on for added comfort during hot days. I also recirculate basement air to lower the temperature ten degrees, for up to a twenty degree temperature difference than outside air. A very huge Cottonwood tree blocks the south sun from heating up my home in summer. Maple trees keep my north facing screen porch cool.
Un related comment to this video, but hoping you will see my concern with your dry pour method. I skreted the top of cement just as you showed this time. I still get bubbling up of the top crust, that hardened with the misting process, when I shower the pad. What is going wrong ?????
Joli rafraîchissement avec ce ventilateur. La balade familiale sur le bayou est superbe et cela tout en pêchant 🐟🚤: belle découverte pour votre fille les cousins cajuns 👍👏😘🇫🇷
I love the synergy between you two. Glad you didn't get skunked in the swamp. I can't believe you guys are that hot already. We barely topped out in the mid to high 50's the last few days.
@@CajunCountryLivin I retired in North Idaho for a reason. I love the cooler weather. I’m wearing shorts and t-shirts right now. 60 degrees is my happy place. Being hot is not fun for me.
Hey Jim, make sure you put in a man cave on the upper level of y'all's conex complex ! Preferably with a couple windows on the side where most of the deer come out to graze !
DREO! This really sounds like a great system! This would really be great in our living room, as both of us are in our platinum years 😊 Wish they had a lot of these items when we were younger! 😮
Spiders do tend to be sneaky....I've seen them try to be comedians a couple times also. I shit you not there was backflips and forward rolls involved. That was very funny ;) ps. I don't have any video footage of what i saw. Awesome fishin video, 90° would make me melt. I like a good 18" of ice when I go looking for walleye :)
I want this DREO fan in my living room! The living room is the farthest from our HVAC, so it's the warmest room in our home here in Alabama & we could really get a lot of use out of it!

Be advised, I wore crocs for a few yrs because I had surgery on my big toes. My feet got so wide I could not fit into my tennis shoes any more. With the width, (maybe?) My arches started to fall. Very painful. It's all because of wearing them only for a few yrs.😢

Yes! Exactly!🌪️
Hoy are the tubes going to stay in the pad? It looks like they are just inserted into the concrete pad
I know nothing about hurricanes (plz note, I live on west coast area) but how is welding, to a concrete base, going to keep it from being lifted? I just don’t see how a little bit of welding can be stronger then hurricane forces. Would you explain maybe in a future video? Is that really strong enough anchor?
