Do you have any issues with the SWK? I bought one and I have a very loud kind of white noise signal every time i turn on the SWK? It doesn’t matter if I do this with the plugin or directly on the gear. Are the Deesser working well? I have many crackls and pop sounds wenn using the Deesser 🙈 Just wanted to ask if you noticed any issues as well?
Kind of funny, I don't hear the difference when you go from "In" to "Bypass", however the difference is really noticeable when you go from "Bypass" to "In", I guess it's an auditive illusion.

Is it a really different from the tegeler vari tube ?
Every hardware has its unique character but once you should try master buss processor i think that unit is better.

anyone can say how it compares to the "distressor" or the compressor from "vertigo"?
somehow it manages to sound too compressed all the time
it's his settings. 1 to 2 db of reduction is all you ever need on a compressor like this.
