NOTES : 1. Shieldless Tzaangors cannot tank any hits so they were excluded. 2. I prefer plane background to limit performance issues or any GPU bottleneck and it is easier to discern figures and details. 3. The game is a wasted potential to improve the enemy AI, combat, gameplay, make any NPC playable and add new game modes. 4. Carnifex was reprogrammed by me to not get back up after incap. 5. The game limits how many enemies can attack at the same time. I want to keep it same as the game design was originally intended to be and not to perfectly simulate lore/reality. 6. Developers can do future changes like reducing Tzaangor HP or making Carnifex more aggressive, fix his thorn attack like in the last patch, in that case it will just need around 20 Tzaangors more to shift the balance, the concept and fight will be the same. @@NekrindeNekrinius AI is not designed to counter each other's attack. They cannot dodge, etc. So whoever tanks more and puts DPS wins. NPCs can be made playable to have a PvP mode of factions or even RTS game mode, so it is a huge waste of resources if they do not work more on improving AI and making Faction PvP game mode.
I noticed that the Carnifexes slashing animations are meant for attacking the far taller Space Marines, causing it to seem like the Carnifex was aiming above the Tzaangors heads rather than at them. This might even mean that the Carnifex was missing the Tzaangors hit box (it depends on the vertical length of the hurtbox of the Carnifex's attacks).
It's definitely doable, but they're really gonna have to balance out how Melee and range mesh together I feel with how integral ranged weapons are to 40k as opposed to fantasy they'd have to step up how ranged units engage in combat does my imperial guardsmen unit fire a single volley at chaos astartes and then get bum rushed and killed like handgunners do to chaos warriors or do they fire continuously with little effects overtime with the same result and if so, does that mean I have to basically retreat all the time, is it really fun for both parties to basically play a game of chicken endlessly with one chasing another in skirmish mode? I'm aware that chaos has ranged too, but if a bolter is as strong as it should be melee feels almost pointless, will they implement a cover system or trenches to give players a reprieve from range? How does ranged get balanced out here?
@anamericangrizzlybear8315 The same as it is in TW WH. Only real difference is a greater amount of "hybrid" units and greater disparities in regiment sizes. Skirmishing is already central to the TW formula. The best players are the best skirmishers.
@@graljoffrewithoutanarmy860 I mean considering how shit of a performance the Carnifex gave, this is not the example you should use if you want to prove that Total War 40k would work.
I call BS something is off with the carnifex' strike its not able to hit them, someone else pointed out it may be hitting above the Zangor hitbox and i suspect thats true. Plus he didnt use charge and that would've cleaned house
Is it possible to have the Nurgle cultist from Dark tide VS the Tzench cultist from Space marine 2? Since you can edit and program these battles, I’m hoping you’re able to do this. 😁

Can you expand your THOUGHTS behind note number 3?
@@NekrindeNekrinius I too would like to see an expansion on Note 3

Damn, wanted the Carnifex to wreck those little shield dipshits.

That settles it, buying five Thousand Sons Combat Patrols
Man those shields really are o.p
You are a hero with those videos, I dont get what is your motive behind all this, but keep it on Tatsuo.

The funny thing is we're getting to watch two different hoofed species go at it and that amuses me for some reason
Could you do guardsmen vs cultists? I'm curious as to how different they are in strength.
It looks like a total war warhammer game
100 Sword-wielding demon G̶o̶a̶t̶ Bird men vs. Ultra roach
the carnifax idle animation makes it seem like a big dog.
Let's go Tzaangy bois! Get em!
Epic. TY for the post!

Loving the outro💀 keep this ceremony thing going
Quick Question how do you access this in order to play/do this?
How's the Hive Tyrant behave? Cause idea likes to see if 5 terminators can bring her down.
What difficulty are they set too?
Games workshop approved 👌
Cool vid
Lastima que las animaciones del carnifex hacen que así no dañe a nadie y tire muchos ataques al vacio
More
how do you do these?
Yeah shield tzaangors are bullshit
