For those whom are wondering i believe the reason the necrons took the bodies of the space marines is because they wanted physical form again, but bodies of other species are simply too frail when compared to the natural necrontyr forms before they become the necrons but that necron scientists believed that the bodies of the space maries is strong enough for the necrons.
The original necrontyr bodies were actually extremely frail and riddled with tumors. That's why the biotranferrence was initiated. And btw, not all necrons want to reverse the biotransferrence.

With no air resistance the same and with it the heavier rock. the same logic applies to space marines here. If you need the rock to make a sharp left turn or suddenly stop or even reverse direction that is when being lighter is an advantage. Because the suit is powered the only times a lighter suit even effects a space marine is in situations where the terrain isn't sturdy enough.

Normal necrons warriors aren't good fighters but they can pack a serious punch with their gauss weapons. They can also resurrect and enter the battlefield due to their superior self-repair system granted to them by their necrodermis body.
Necron warriors have two advantages, persistence, and the ability to keep getting back up. They have no intelligence or initiative, so compared to an Astartes that especially gets the drop on them, it's not that much of a contest. That ability to get back up again is what wins their wars however.
Now I have to wonder: what about the Apothecary’s gene seed? Is that not also important to the chapter? Or is it considered a reasonable trade-off. One gene seed in return for Emperor know’s how many others
In all likely hood the apoc made the split moment decision of instead leaving himself exposed and removing his own geneseed, which is much more difficult if said individual is alive at the time especially on the self, to instead ensure the survival of the geneseed already secured by giving it to the salamander and trying to buy time for his escape. There would also be no garuntee that he would have been able to remove his genesead in time before he was fully distinegrated, all the while necrons were advancing on their position

After all these years why haven't they developed Shield and small combat drones to help the Ultramarine and Salamander? Plus they really need a few NUKE grenades for these type of monsters.
They do have forcefield and are reserved for the higher ranking space marines. For servitors aka drones it is mainly operated under the guidance of a techmarine or adeptus mechanicus.

It's the magufin used to make more space Marines, even with primaris available they still guard those as it mean it'll be more easy to replenish and enlarge their forces, seeds are used at the making of the space marine and then extracted later on to make more, it's like 1 seed makes for the possibility of 2 more Marines, they can live without it but the extraction process have a high chance of killing them so most avoid the risk and aphotecary does retrieve them organs to make more battle brothers.

Necron gauss is super advanced. Space Marine armor is not useless, it was probably designed against more conventional weapons.
