@@nvstewart LOL hes won 31 races good enough for 10th all time, won drivers championship and arguably was screwed out of an Indy 500 win. Either your not a fan of racing or your Tony Georges ghost still holding a grudge because he called the cars in his series Crapwagons.
I met him once. I told him that I admired his driving talent and skill, he just needed to work on his patients. He shook his head and walked away. One thing he is not is humble……..
Roger Penski tried really hard to get Paul to calm down and be more like Al Unser Jr. and actually for a while it worked. Paul was a better driver for it as well. After team Penski for the most part he really went down hill. If Paul could have kept his emotions and weight in check he would have been a far better driver. I met Paul a few times when he was with Team Penski and at least at that point in his career he was approachable with his fans that wanted autographs and photos.
Definitely Roger Penske, Rick Mears, Nigel Beresford and later Tony Cicale, when he joined Team KOOL, were able to ground him. Not an easy driver to handle, but a brilliant test driver and usually on the pace. If he wasn’t up front it’s because the car wasn’t quick enough.
Paul Tracy drove emotionally and in-the-moment. A tough combo.
Anytime that Paul Tracy was at the track you knew that there would be a motor race. He was very much in the mold of Dale Earnhardt or Nigel Mansell.
A much longer video could be made with the title "Angry at Paul Tracy!"
Tracy is such a baby. Apparently, NBC finally had enough of his incessant whining.
Paul Tracey was good on the Penski team driving the Marlboro car, but, he never was a world class driver.
The only Canadian who dont say Sorry
except he won the Drivers championship in 03 with Players/Forsythe? Dont get me wrong he made a lot of stupid decisions but he was always a contender
@@TrainWreck444 only took him 12 years. I am sure a real contender wouldn't wait that long.
He was too overweight and emotionally unstable for F1.

I agree completely...he's a fairly chilled commentator now though on NBCSN, I think he found his place!

The cars sounded so much better than. Why doesn’t anyone have the balls anymore to not succumb to groupthink environmentalism
Paul Tracy was so naturally talented but he just drove with no brain and was not disciplined
I was never impressed with him.
I was, because he was so fat and still competitive.
Even when he won Road America from the back? Was it 1999 or 2000?
