Very nice footage from the good old times with a wide variety of stunning aircraft types! Huge like!! 🤩✈️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
On the limit
Superb. When aeroplanes had charm and character and one could stand a spot them from dedicated spotting platforms ……….
Capt Crunch
Tracy is such a baby. Apparently, NBC finally had enough of his incessant whining.
Uk ❤❤ xx
Tough one. Two hard heads at the time just going at it. They did this a lot.
A much longer video could be made with the title "Angry at Paul Tracy!"
Ah, the Nineties, when airliners were anything but boring! And, BA's Landor livery was the handsomest ever, especially on the Concorde!
I used to love going home after a day spotting on Queens Building smelling of JETA1 !!
This has bought a smile to my face. So many trips to my grandparents who lived nearby were spent on that terrace in the 80's.
Glad you enjoyed it Daniel! Memories! Thanks for leaving a comment 👍🏻
Great to see Concorde in her glory days. Worst mistake BA ever made, is ditching the Landor Livery for what they have now. :(
Love the Jumbos 💙
Paul "Do or die" Tracy.
There was something special about these cars back then. Same goes for F1
Fantastic
Quick but volitile!
Just like most of these aircraft types…. We’ll never get a view like this ever again. I was only lucky to visit Heathrow roof visitors area a few times as a lad but boy were those some great lasting memories. Blissful times. Thanks for sharing the memories
Happy that so many people are enjoying this. My dad who filmed it is no longer with us, but he'd be delighted too, especially as I remember he wasn't too happy I insisted he film the visit for me! Those big video cameras weren't too much fun to use back in the day 🤣
Rest in peace Gil de Ferran.
A legend!! 😊
R.I.P GIL
De Ferran died today 😢
What a brilliant video, remember the Queens building well and all the old type aircraft and liveries
Ugh he was very cute
Not an A320 in sight we were so spoiled spotting back then . Great memories
Those TU-154's were noisy birds!
CART fuiste una gran perdida para el automobilismo. Todavia no se le compara nada en el mundo.
Loved watching Greg race. Had potential to be an absolute superstar. So sad what happened 😥. RIP Greg 🕊️. #redglovesrule
Goegeous finally some Tristar 500´s action thanks for a wonderful video.
This looks so weird to me as I barely see a 747 at Heathrow and I have never seen I trijet in person and the Concorde sneaking in 5 minutes into the video
Concorde in Landor livery looked fantastic. The Queens Building was amazing, in the late 70's all of my paper-round wages were usually spent on the bus fare to get there. Binoculars and Ian Allen's "Civil Aircraft Markings" in hand of course! I remember space up on the little "bridge" like structure was always at a premium. We were so lucky to live in such an amazing period of aviation history.
Thanks for the comment, and I agree. We don't realise what we miss until it's gone 😞
Planes were so diverse back then, it’s all just a320s and 737s now
Who's here after a car went into the stands in Portimao
Couple of inches away from not having Colton Herta.
The Spa- Francorchamps of the USA!
Greatest place on Earth! Elkhart Lake Wisconsin.
Thank you for uploading and thank you Andretti for the voice over. Has helped me drop my time significantly with the cart car in assetto!! 😂
Those Tri-Stars make me hard.
Are you alright
Back when this was an airport to be proud of.
There are several European cities 1/10 of Londons size with airports as big as Heathrow back then. Tiny compared to today.
So many happy times at the various viewing spots on the QB then heading off to the car parks when it was closing time
PIA WAS STILL OPERATING!!!
EVEN IN 1985,HEATHROW TEEMED WITH PLANES AND PASSENGERS FROM SWEDEN N SOUTH AFRICA,
THE WALKALATORS WERE POSITIONED AT SHORT INTERVALS. IT WAS A CULTURE SHOCK FOR US WITH NO MALLS MUCH FEWER CARS AND OLD TECHNOLOGIES IN INDIA.
Eso sí era un piloto de verdad, no como ahora que los vehículos los favorecen a los pilotos.
too cocky.. that's what killed him!!
wtf dude youre sick
miss that old long bech layout
Very good Race track, perfect and For F1
It needs to be widened and I don’t think it meets FIA standards. It would be a great track for F1 though.
@@ryanyoder2694 And Watkins Glen is Great Race Track, much Better of track in Austin.
Anytime that Paul Tracy was at the track you knew that there would be a motor race. He was very much in the mold of Dale Earnhardt or Nigel Mansell.
This man was so underrated.
Classic Turkish Airlines
Bring back Cheatlines! They were so classy.
