Your breakdowns of rod actions and applications (and all JDM gear) have always allowed anglers to pinpoint what rods and gear will work and excel for them. You are educating and saving anglers money in the long run (which may sound strange given the fact that JDM equipment is expensive). This video incorporated a breakdown with fishing action and style. I’m use my FMJ for throwing the mid sized Deps Coverscat. So fun. Big UA-cam-like hooksets to drive the big hook home. I Ned to expand its uses. Thanks for discussing it.

In my personal opinion I would add the p5 super destroyer as an honorable mention to this list with its size, and versatility.

The P5 line is so versatile this could have been a top ten list... As a primarily shore fisherman only one of my four P5's was mentioned (Windbuster), and I wouldn't have it any other way!
I have 4 of 5 of these rods and the Dark Sleeper is by far the most versatile out of the lineup ... if u need 2 rods out of this lineup it would be the Dark Sleeper and Flyssa .
Being finesse is becoming so big I’m hoping megabass come out with a 1/4 or even a 3/8oz sleeper craw.. the 5/8oz is great but I think a lighter one we’ll help really slow down and drag it when the bite gets tough

What reel would pair better with the Mark 56 between the Antares DC MD, the Steez SV TW, or the Steez A II…..I plan on throwing mostly 1.5-3 oz swimbaits, but may throw up to a 4 oz. I’m favoring one of the Steez reels…..there’s a nearly 2-3 oz weight savings over the Antares DC MD. What do you guys think? Geoff says the Antares DC MD is comparable to a 250 size casting reel…that may be a bit too much for a Mark 56.
What rod and reel do you recomend for a wacky rig fishing setup? I’ve been looking into the windbuster but dont know if there is anything else you would recomend?
Depends what you’re wacky rigging. Windbuster would be good for 5” senko or larger plastics, Flyssa is good for smaller finesse plastics, Addermine is the in-between.
@@thehookuptackle_usa I usually throw a 5” weightless wacky and I would like my fishing rod to be versatile, so i will probably get a windbuster, thank you for the help👍🏻
A lot of the ponds we fish are also marked no fishing, but no one ever says anything. We fish everything from parks to housing editions to gated communities. Urban fishing is a blast.

I use Windbuster for 5 and 6" wacky, 2/0 or 3/0 owner jungle wacky weedless hooks. It's crazy good
