I was one of the people who got told i had to come back on sunday. It was a hot mess towards the end. Delayed photos and many people being told different things. Eventually leaving a poor woman to deal with us angry fans, i thanked her sunday for actually telling us the plan rather than walking away like the other staff did. They did try to get people who couldnt come sunday and there wasnt that many people left to get through it seemed. I was batch 4 standard and it felt like if you didnt spend £300 you was ignored. I was very lucky i had money for autos and another day off work to come back but i still had to travel 4hrs again the next day. To be fair sunday was better, i got seen very quickly with a green ticket. But i feel so bad for the many who couldnt come back. Not Ncutis fault, he was a gent and apologised to a few of us. Mille seemed very enthusiastic when i saw her and gave a few a hug so hopefully she feels more comfortable.
Thank you for sharing. Sounds like an ordeal. Shame there were little staff to support the huge crowds which was not their fault but Showmasters have to look at crew and general public safety. Glad Sunday flowed better and by all amounts. Ncuti and Millie were on top form 😊👍
Never been to one my circumstances don't allow it unfortunately but always been jealous that people could just meeting one person from Doctor Who would make my day, year, life. However after hearing this I am definitely glad I wasn't there. Disabled with anxiety in crowds a particular issue I could never have coped with it all and I definitely could never afford to be there 2 days 😊
I and the rest of the Whoniverse do feel incredibly fortunate to have met many of the stars from Doctor Who. There are a lot of independent Comic Cons with many of the Doctor Who guests that does the circuit. I do hope, health permitting that one day you will be able to met one of the Doctors 👍
The clues in the name comic CON! Showmasters pissed off a lot of customers over the weekend with the Ncuti thing. It’s made people not want to go again and I don’t blame them. They’re going to lose a lot of business if they don’t change their ways.
Thank you for your comment. I agree. I really do hope Showmasters takes notes from this and look at what can be done better for what is diamond pass or otherwise, a premium experience. Showmasters are not the only big game in town anymore, coming off the back of Monopoly Events Liverpool comic con a week prior. This will have damaged Showmasters reputation which is never a good thing for business and having enjoyed their previous comic cons. Is something I don't want to see happen in the future 👍
I’m a carer for a terminally ill family member and my only income is carers allowance. So the cost of getting to London and Ncuti’s ticket was financially challenging as well as the arrangements I had to make to ensure care while I was away. So being told I could come back the next was of no use to me whatsoever. I was made to feel worthless for only holding a standard photoshoot ticket. I was batch 2, I know that there were at least 12 batches and none of us got a photo. It was a shambles fuelled by arrogance and greed. I have been to many comic cons in the past and have seen such an awful display as this. I have requested my refund directly with Showmasters and well as opening disputes with Eventbrite and PayPal. I will never darken Showmasters doorway again.
Thank you for sharing and I'm am so sorry to hear the ordeal you went through. Even the standard photo ticket is still a lot of money and if I did attend this event. I would have gotten a standard ticket too. I hope you do get your refund. Showmasters really should take note of this and improve on guests and fans wellbeing in terms of finances, safety and health 👍
Wasn't pay those ridiculous prices and no way in hell no matter which actor it is they not worth it and ok if can afford it but some people that's a day's wage. Putting the CON into CONVENTIONS a Ripp off .
Saturday was busy I managed to get my photo with ncuti and my photo and auto with Millie Gibson too they said on come back on Sunday for auto I was like ok and on Sunday I was prepared for lots of queuing for the auto on Sunday and was surprised to see it was more relaxed
I was one of the lucky people who got to meet Ncuti on the Saturday. I anticipated how busy it was going to be so that’s why I opted for one of the diamond passes. He was a gent and a sweetheart. Really down to earth, happy go lucky, smiley man. Happy to be there and give you his time despite his security team rushing him. Millie seemed to me a bit nervous and withdrawn. She kept rubbing her arm with her hand and was quite flinchy. I’m guessing that was due to inappropriate touching/ physical contact. She didn’t look like she enjoyed it. - she was nice when I had my photo done but I didn’t have much to say to her. I just said “nice to see you” and moved on. I don’t think she’ll do another LFCC in future.
Thank you for your comment and for sharing. Fair play with the diamond pass. It must have been overwhelming for Ncuti and Millie to flash flood hundreds of people for a quick shoot photo. I hope they were looked after and that it doesn't put them off attending future comic cons 😊👍
This not first time this happened during summer London Film Comic Con few years ago now which was the last appearance of late Stan Lee for full weekend crowds came all over the world and thousands was turned away i was 1026 and this was 5:30 and only done over 300 autographs or photo shoots forget now which 1 i had i also heard that Stan Lee fell asleep and still took photos and price again was ridiculous and i blame Show masters being greedy and i know personally some guests stars personally how rude they are ie if some wanted get sefie and complaining to the actors letting kids get a photo some now wont go back to show master events now ive stop going to them all can think is how much profits can make.
You guys must have more money than sense. There's no excuse for it. If they are ripping people off to that extent (£90 for Gatwa... I wouldn't give you 90p) they should at least honour the commitment. Disgraceful.

@@TimeyWimeyReview I had similar problems with Karen Gillan at London Winter Comic Con last year, where she was scheduled to appear Sat and Sun (And even had her photo/auto times on the schedule for both days listed on the website) then on Friday night they hastily switched her to just Saturday, meaning there were twice as many people there to see her. Apparently she'd only signed on to appear on Saturday and there was a miscommunication between her manager and showmasters.
I was lucky enough to meet Ncuti and Millie on the Saturday as I had a diamond pass. I’m glad I was able to meet them then and they were both great. I was there both days. I think Sunday was also quieter as there were a lot of train issues as: There were no GWR trains into London Paddington The overground was suspended till 12pm The district line was cancelled in the afternoon.
