I was at Comic Con back in September and Jodie was one of the guests alongside her that played Yaz and Billie Piper. Billie was a sweetheart 😊 She was the only DW guest I met that day as she was the only one out of the three of them that mattered.
I also attended London Comic Con Winter this year. I funny enough predicted that Ncuti and Millie meet and greet would be another controversial downfall just like with Karen Gillan and Dolph Lundgren. I remember when I tried to get Dolph Lundgren's autograph while I booked him on entry to which I didn't successfully get his autograph but thankfully managed to get a photo with him at his photo op. I have recently finished up attending their London Comic Cons due to bad organisation and the trains in Kensington Olympia are not very good either. I will be sticking with Monopoly Events ran conventions from now on as they're much better when handling meet and greets, especially when it comes to the Diamond Weekend/Saturday/Sunday Passes.

I heard they had a pretty big balls up with Joseph Quinn a couple years back. I’ve been to many cons since I was a kid, mainly showmasters, and I’ve never seen or heard of them doing that whole “keep your hands in front of you etc” thing for a guest. I got a pic with Michael Sheen and they didn’t do anything like that. Was it actually one of the showmasters Crew or was it someone who was with her like a manager or something? When you mentioned about the PA system it made me think, why don’t they use that more? I didn’t even know there was one until they announced Ncuti at the last one in July, they did it live for the whole building to hear. So why don’t they use it more often to announce phpto batches or something?
I do find a lot of times their photoshoots are chaos if you meet someone big. When I meet Jason Mamoa there i'm sure what appeared to be his agent came out to try and sort the queue out. As for coming the next day as you sort of mentioned, its not always easy. For instance if I have to travel to London, I can normally go stright there, but a lot of weekends the line has been closed for engineering works, which means I would have to get a bus replacement, and that can add hours to the journey
Apparently, there was an incident involving Millie Gibson being sexually harassed at the con. I'm assuming after it the people in charge put more protections in for her during the photo opportunities.

Hey, Millie Gibson diamond pass here, she was really friendly when I got her autograph but I could tell she was quite nervous, she spoke quite quickly and has clearly rehersed some lines, but was happy to give me a handshake. I think the strict rules about the photographs was to do with her anxiety about the whole thing.
Hey Bud, Thanks for the feedback, that makes sense, let’s be honest there were a lot of folk wanting to meet her not surprised that things that can be overwhelming, hopefully the rules helped and that she will continue doing these and eventually be comfortable in the future 👍
Millie Gibson's a gem. I saw her behind the scenes of her first episode, and she gave off that vibe too. You can tell that she was nervous but really wanted to make a good impression in her first episode. That vibe lessened later on. By the time she did the promotion for the cinema release of the finale, you can tell her heart wasn't in it.
