Nothing feels more like a lifestyle brand and that's what makes it unique !
I feel like they are slowing starting to build their ecosystem by doing things mostly related to style and aethetics compared to functionality. Basically they're trying to make people use their products to have a cohesive style, even in what they wear.
I feel Nothing is becoming more like the Emirates - innovative, leading, pushing boundaries and becoming the most loved lifestyle brand. They will achieve a lot in 2 years, mark my words.

What's amazing about this company is the fact you get to see things like this.
The way that they're also moving in to other markets with the nothing brand but also, the sheer passion of the staff to achieve their goals. It's great and will no doubt draw people more to them. Keep up the excellent work.
Those new slider changes are beyond clean. Also having some more Widgets never hurts
yes it looks slick. but there is one more slider that should add to this. have you guys tried LG phone slider? that phone has an individual custom media volume for EVERY app. that thing has so many use. we can customize every app volume.

Has anyone thought about the font style..... The style of font that nothing uses is amazing.... One should think of adding it as a font style for people to use it more often rather than just looking at it in the lock screen and as widgets

Was already considering a Nothing phone 2 to pickup at the end of the month but this has convinced me. Love the community and culture you guys have brought to such a mature market
to be honest phone 1 seems bit neglected and all focus is on phone 2 sad to see this as loyal customer

Man those are some useful updates. I am using the Phone (1) for the past 1.5 years, man its amazing. Few phones which provide clean UI experience and amazing performance. Cant wait for these guys to bring out more products😊

@@futurefamily4498 not sure about others but I was having nothing phone 1. N it's battery use to drain in one day even with normal usage. I used it for 2 months n sold it. Its the worst ever phone I bought

Kudos to the company for this rather honest State of the Company and insights into the company internal discussions. It's honestly not often we the consumer see a company engage the community and succinctly recognize the community's feedback and then in the same breath tell the community the internal conversations (to the extent Nothing can) on addressing those.
Please have a compact 6 inch phone in your lineup and I'm your customer for life. I will take this oath today. I love how this brand is being built, love Pei's personality, the calm competitiveness, the vision. This is what Jobs was. I see this man set a trend and build a community in the future in not just phones but so many other diversified products. The future looks exciting :)
I am really struggling with 6.1 inch already but i'm ready to buy a Nothing Phone if they make a step to a compact phone and stay behind that decision.
I'm genuinely thrilled about the success story of your company. I've been following your journey since the beginning and am truly impressed. While I currently use an iPhone, there have been moments when I considered trying a Nothing product. I commend your dedication and hard work, and Carl, your pride in your team is evident in your eyes. I plan on getting a new Nothing Phone soon, and until then, I wish you continued success...
Nothing Team are amazing. They really read the community tips for improving the experience. I enjoy 2.0 so much, it gives you the feeling that your device is unique and fun to use. So needed updates in 2.5 - Screenshot interface, more flexibility and quality in the widget department, glyph lights and sound design mixer and many more. Good job guys!
This is so much better, than the last keynote. I really like the straightforward approach and just saying what‘s been happening without too much bling and bang.

I love your products. My mom upgraded her phone last year and I recommended her the phone 1 and she's loving it. I myself aim to get the phone 2 within the next couple of months. I have a feedback though. I think your phones could really benefit and appeal to a wider range of people if the camera performance was upgraded. You guys are really nailing the software side of things in the phones. So I believe you can be really good with camera software too. I have really high hopes for your future.

Really wanted to get the Nothing 2 after having the OnePlus 7 Pro for 4-5 years. A fan of Carl for being so innovative but could not justify the phone purchase without having camera and audio quality that is comparable with top brands
I just got the nothing phone 2 looking forward to using it at as my daily driver
I love how Nothing is paying attention to every smallest detail to make the lives of its users easy.
Trust me, I used to feel that there should be something called as a cropped screenshot while capturing the SS. After seeing that feature is going to get rolled out in the new phones it makes so happy. Trust me !!
Samsung has this feature since a few years back, not in the same way ofc, but I can promise you, it's so useful and I love it, so it's a feature I'm happy Nothing is also doing it!

Love the new updates, waiting for the official release of Nothing OS 2.5.
Accidental screenshots happen with me often, the option to instantly delete it is great. And a new, more powerful editor to edit screenshots is welcome.
Please please add an option to take long screenshots, essentially scroll to take a long screenshot please!

If it's possible to add more custom layers to the glyph interface, like more control over each LED bar, that would be a welcome feature. Love the interface so far, but not having access to some of the LEDs is slightly awkward.

Just got the Phone 2 few days back and I'm very happy with it.
It's great to see such update videos and no other brand is doing this.
Since we are talking about screenshots I would like to recommend a feature.
Samsung phones save the link of the webpage along with the screenshot which is super useful so please consider adding this
How is the audio and the camera?
@@upwarddownward6652 audio is average and camera is good, could be better given the price. The phone is all about refined UI and smoothness
As a Designer im Proud to have my Nothing phone.the best minimalistic phone ever.
I hope there's some upgrades for phone 1 as well.

Change the update policy. 3 years of android updares 4 years of security patches falls behind what Google Samsung and Apple offer. Not planning to grab a nothing phone until they revise their update policy

Excited for Nothing OS 2.5. The whole UI looks very clean, consistent and user friendly. I own a Phone(1) but sadly they didnt mention when new OS would be available for it.
Carl pei tweeted that it would be available before the end of this year.

Got Nothing Phone 2 for my work phone. Ive got Fold3 as my personal phone, but somehow this "Basic" phone gets me excited. All black theme, smooth OS and honestly, the update notes are amazing, not just "Small fixes" , but detailed info.
When time comes to switch from Fold3, Ill see where this brand is. Keep this mentality and youll go far, but if you forget who you were and what made you big (Like O+), people forget you.

Shutter lag is so bad In phone 2 hoping for a fix on the stable update and the integration of vibration feedback should be in more places like in brightness bar and volume etc.

I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for all the unique features you've been adding to the Nothing phone! I'm loving it so far. It would be super cool if you guys could add a dialer and gallery app that's unique to Nothing. That way, everything would be even more seamless and user-friendly. Keep up the great work!

bought nothing phone 2 a week ago and so far been loving the experience. cleen and fast responding UI, long lasting battery and the glyph thing is just a funny little addon. cheers and keep up the good work!

I can feel the Portuguese accent in Bruno's english. I'm proud of seeing a Portuguese designer in one of my favorite bands. Maybe one day I'll be able to be part of the Nothing design team, maybe one day, until then I will continue studying and working so that maybe one day I can be part of this team or another brand in which I identify 🇵🇹

My next phone will definitely be the Nothing Phone (3). I left South Africa when the phone 1 had just launched there and now the 2nd is almost halfway to going to 3 so I'll just push through till the next one is released. There's all round improvements to all aspects of the entire company
I really like this quick settings/notification panel concept at 8:02 at the right, gives a different and new feel when compared to the current one(stock Android) and other Android skins(one ui,oxygen os).
I truly wish they bring this in the coming future.

also I’ve said it before but a community backed “nothing icon” app would be great. if it meets a design standard / moderation on what icon is accepted. It’d help keep the whole OS UI look clean but also new users not have to worry about an icon looking ugly (they can just find something they need for their app say a local bank can utilize a money symbol of region)

Feedback: can you add the option to make the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen invisible? almost everyone navigates the bar with muscle memory and it would look sooooooo clean if it were invisible

i think giving users the option to cap charging (e.g. i only want my phone to charge up to 80% even if i forget to plug it out) would be a huge deal. idk how to formally submit this as a suggestion tho, but i think it would be a nice add-on especially for the ones of us who are a little more tech oriented

Yesterday I bought the nothing phone 2, when i went home i found that the phone had issues with the screen. The screen showed signs of already burnt pixels and it was displaying the AOD clock in the background no matter which app i open. I went back to the dealer and he said he cannot help me as I already bought the phone and asked me to go to the service center. I would have accepted his answer if the phone was 15 days old or so. But to have this kind of issue within the first hour of the new phone is truly unacceptable. I left my phone with the dealer as he told me that he will try and get it fixed. But imagine you buy a phone that is well over 40,000 and it will be tear down open the very next day of the purchase. How would you feel Mr Carl? And the phone wasn’t even for me.. it was a gift for someone. The whole experience just made me look like a fool.
Feels like dead Window Phone's live tile soul got a new body. And I m loving it.

Just got a nothing phone 2.. coming from a Samsung s22 ultra and honestly im now a nothing user for the foreseeable future everything ive been looking for in a phone is finally here and the amount of time you guys are putting into it and all the feedback your taking in is amazing this is what we've been needing in the phone market.... If you continue how you are now i can see nothing phones absolutely dominating the phone market in the future 🔥 keep it up guys your doing so good 👍 also the camera could do with just a bit more improvement but other than that im really liking everything so far....
Was the S22 ultra the snapdragon version or exynos. Because my snapdragon version is very smooth to be honest. I thank God so very much for giving me this phone in Jesus Mighty Name. Thank you God and may your Name be praised forever in Jesus's Christ Mighty Name.
@@derricknyakundi1985 nah I sadly had the exynos chip 😭😭 its absolutely terrible it's laggy.. freezes quite often the camera app isn't usable once you go beyond 10x zoom it instantly crashes and loads of other things
