I used my niak all last winter except snow camps for winter I do swap to the 10mm poles tho.when windy position of the guy lines and the 10mm poles makes so much difference for me the space is ideal and the vestibule is good I agree with the rain getting in but I zip it down a little that helps.theres always something lighter stronger or bigger and everyone likes different things but for me it works really well.
good to see lassie again. Then my opinion about Niak. Like all Hilleberg tents, great made. But I sold this tent because I didn't think this tent was great for me and my 35 kg heavy Vizsla. Too small and I don't like that mesh door where far too much cold comes in. I always leave the outer tent door open, but in combination with a solid inner tent door with mesh behind it. Then I can regulate the temperature a little bit myself. With mesh alone that is not possible. Then I personally don't think the Una is anything for me and my dog, too small. I had this one too. Personally I think the Nammatj 2 is absolutely my favorite, but very heavy. Thanks for this video.

Tony, the porch issue can be solved by using a trekking pole to prop one door up, creating a small covered porch.
