Hi Elliot. I’m about 1 year into my golf journey and I can wait to try these tips out on the range/course but unfortunately I broke my leg and tore my ACL in an accident in December, I’m about 2 months away from swinging a club again and as you can imagine I cannot wait!
Cheers mate! Mitch from Western Australia.

Started playing hybrids last year it took a bit of practice and lots of shots to get it right. However now, a Ping 5 (26 degrees) replaces by my 5 iron, and I also have a Ping 3 (19 degrees) in my bag. Both regular shafts and for a swing speed of less than 80 it works for me.

I’ve carried 4-8 Callaway hybrids for several years , 8 iron is the longest iron in my bag and I actually replaced my Callaway irons last year with Cleveland Halo irons . As a weekend golfer and mid/high handicap I should have been playing this setup a long time ago , my iron play improved immediately with the hybrid type iron more people should try them also

Great video on the hybrid Alex! I've learned to totally love the hybrid! I now have a 3, 4, 5 hybrid in my bag which match up to my 3 and 4 Taylor Made Burner fairway woods. I'm now thinking of taking my 3 wood out of the bag until our Southern California fairways grow back. However, I do your recommended technique on how to play the hybrid shot, very successfully, I may add! Good Job Alex! Keep up the good work!

replaced 4,3 i and 5 wood with callaway super hybrid 19°. love it. so straight and I have lots of confidence. my accuracy with the previous clubs was so erratic that it was a crapshoot to get anywhere- so to have a club that I can hit from a variety of lies confidently more than compensates for lack of theoretical yardage options

Hi Alex......thanks for this video. I wanted to try hybrids and I purchased an inexpensive set of nine clubs 2- PW from Lazrus golf. I quickly found out that I could not swing them like I did my old irons......but I do love the set. My question is this. Does my ball position (one club head length behind my left heel) remain the same for all my hybrids (2-PW) or do I need to move the ball forward or back based on the loft of the club? Your point of getting the hands and the club head to the ball at the same time is going to be extremely helpful. Thanks for all your videos.
